Inexpensive accomodations in Kazakhstan

The hotel is new, everything is clean. There is a kettle, tea, coffee and sugar. Even a safe. The free breakfast is very filling. The road to the airport is free of traffic jams. The staff works efficiently.

Polite, friendly, explain how to get to the address in the city. They contacted me and informed me about this. I picked it up a month later, everything was safe and sound

Sound insulation is weak, both at windows and doors

The area is clean, well-groomed, cafe and shop, dining room. The hotel is inhabited mainly by shift workers, so it is noisy at night, people smoke in the rooms, and the fire alarm goes off in the middle of the night

It's enough for few hours to stay during crew change. Not exactly hotel as it called.

Maybe they have to beef up security and soundproof the rooms as all corridor noise and doors opening/closing get heard. Likewise, the pillows can be changed too. Overall, my stay in Lion hotel was okay

Overall, my stay at Sayahat (Sajakhat) was average. The location is fairly convenient, with shops nearby and it is possible to reach different places without much difficulty

I visited Almaty, the old capital of Kazakhstan, for a day. My flight arrived super early, around 2 AM, so I didn't have anywhere to go. I picked this old hotel near the airport for a late check-in and a quick nap

The hotel is quite close to the airport, but still takes around 15 mins by taxi. Close to a shopping mall and bus stop. There are hostel rooms and the issue with the hostel is there's only one key for the dorm's door

Fantastic, for the price is really good, I highly recommend this hotel I was here with my family, the receptionists speak e English very well, you won't have any issues in communicating in English, they supported me with the taxi request to go to the airport

But I have to commend the receptionist and technician for helping us to change room when we complained that the AC for the initial room was faulty. Breakfast was very simple and basic

The downside is that there's a kitchen, but there aren't any stovetop utensils or a microwave. I stayed in February, and the rooms were cold, the tiled floors were cold, and they didn't provide slippers

Certainly, Medeo - the best hotel in Kostanay. Wonderful service, comfortable bed, excellent Breakfast. Not how much inferior to the quality of services provided of well-known network hotels. The rooms are huge.

There is an air conditioner, although the remote control for it was nowhere to be found. The bed linen and towels are new. The bathroom has a shower cabin with good water pressure, as well as liquid soap and shampoo

There is a coffee machine, a hot water boiler with tea bags, as well as compote and berry fruit drink. As for dinner, the food quality leaves much to be desired — it’s better to have lunch and dinner elsewhere

The walls are thin, so you might be woken up by your neighbors in the middle of the night 😂 A 10,000 deposit is required for the minibar in the room, but it's immediately returned upon checkout (if you haven't used it)

By the way, sometimes a draft makes the front door rattle, which was annoying. This problem can be solved by placing a small towel between the door and the frame and closing the door

Breakfast is available at a nearby cafe. The only thing is there's no elevator, so be prepared to lug your suitcase up to your room. And yes, the room is very warm

The location is good, everything is nearby. Walking distance to the city beach. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, with good views and enough plugs to charge your stuff
