Inexpensive accomodations in Kazakhstan

I lived on the 12th floor, everything was great. Spacious rooms, everything was light, minimalist.

Very good hotel with reasonable price and great location!

The hotel is located in a house, one entrance hotel (they made a hotel out of apartments). The rooms are good, warm, there is hot water (but no hair dryer). There is also a kitchen with all the amenities

The sea view is gorgeous! Wi-Fi does not work everywhere (on some floors there is none at all). We booked through Bookling with a sea view, but alas they gave us a room without a view

The guy at the reception asked to pay extra (with a sea view), I wanted to pay by card, also alas, only a transfer. A murky story, left an unpleasant aftertaste

Snow-white bed linen and towels, comfortable beds, soft sofas in the corridors, tea and coffee, water, air conditioning, hot water - what else does a tired traveler need? The warm attitude of the staff, the excellent cuisine - Gloria has it all

We really liked the breakfasts, and in the evening we sat in the restaurant - beyond all praise. Thank you very much for the welcome

We spent two days at the Gloria Hotel

The hotel is good, the rooms are renovated, fresh bed linen, there is air conditioning and a refrigerator, but there is a big BUT, the walls are made of newspaper, the feeling of open space: you hear not only how your neighbor snores, but also how he takes slippers out of the bag, collects things and washes his hands after using the toilet

There is a traffic light on the street next to the hotel, and you hear all the "charged" youth of Kostanay until 3 am (it's good that they also sleep sometimes 🤣)

The hotel was originally called 7 Days Inn. The current owner, a Fuzhou native, recently took over, and many rooms have minor and major issues (which is quite tolerant)

You won't find "Central Asia Inn" on any map search, so just search the address. The good thing is that they speak Chinese, making communication easy

You can negotiate your orders with the kitchen, and the prices are comparable to Xinjiang. Most importantly, it suits our taste

Clean, comfortable, warm service, low price, newly opened B&B, worth experiencing

We washed ourselves with a hose, the pressure just knocked it out, after the first night they said this, they told us that they would fix it. There is no air conditioning in the room, but there is a remote control for it

Without it, the room is unbearable, after a complaint they brought a portable air conditioner that circulates air. Not much use, but at least it made it a little easier. Free breakfasts are advertised

The location is quiet and close to the city center, and the rooms are particularly large and spacious. The price is also very reasonable. The staff is very polite and helpful

The breakfast options are delicious and plentiful. This is one of the best hotels in Shymkent for the price

Everting is not good but generally is good. Better than other otels. Price is not expensive

We stayed from December 31, 2025, to January 2, 2026. We really enjoyed our stay. We booked a suite. Everything matched the description. The hotel is new, and the bar is included in the price.

We were in this hotel in transit. Noise from neighboring rooms can be heard even when someone just sneezes (. The price is reasonable and relatively clean

+ Nice staff - At times the water was turned off, perhaps it did not depend on the hotel, but on the city network. - The TV is not smart TV, you can only watch TV channels

For example, you can’t watch youtube - The biggest disadvantage is the lack of sound insulation; you can hear your neighbors on the floor and those below very well

Stayed 2 days in this hotel. Rooms are ok, no table and chairs. Stuff is ok and no restaurant in the hotel.

We only found out about this this year when we came back with our family. Breakfasts are gone, and they've started charging extra for the rooms for tourists. Unless you're a resident of Kazakhstan

We've even been to Borovoe, where they also charge a service charge for the hotel and cafe. The hotel is good, and we like it. Have a great vacation, everyone! Thank you for your hospitality!

Wanted to stay for a night, however the price was quite high. Apparently, the hotel is luxurious and the prices are little bit higher than average. Didn’t stay, probably next time.

Clean, new and cozy. Nice location. Food is good but options are limited. Staff is responsive 👍🏻 but Swimming pool works only from 9 am and to 9 pm we found it inconvenient.

Nice place to relax in Borovoe. If you need extra water to drink, you can buy from the reception, 1 big 5 litre bottle for 700T. The breakfast was good too.

The rooms with 4 beds are new but the hotel doesn't offer water bottles for these rooms, be ready when you are coming otherwise you will buy from the restaurant and that is expensive

Perfectly located across the road from Karavansaray. Huge spacious room with huge comfortable bed. Marble tiled bathroom was spotlessly clean with powerful shower

Outstanding hotel and one of the best values I have come across in Kazakhstan. Comparable to Karavansaray at half the price.

Only 1 or 2 employees know English so can be struggle sometimes but the google translate helped most often. They have a great pool and gym. Only downside they didn't have a kids pool so my family had to stay out

I liked everything - the hotel, the room is cozy, the food is delicious, the sauna, the hamam are hot, the pool is long and warm. The air around the mountains is clean. Everything you need for family access

I also didn't really like that when I booked, I was given one price, but afterward, I received a message saying that if there were no rooms with one large bed available, a room with two small beds would cost 3,000 tenge more

-Furniture is cracked in places -The room is very small. But it will do for an overnight stay. I think for the money we had a great 2 nights. Therefore, very modestly, yes, but overall everything is excellent

Love this hotel and delicious breakfast every morning, especially after being in Tengiz for 2 months! Plus, there's a calisthenics park very near right on the river. No excuses!

Wifi connection is free in the hall, in the room internet connection is available via cable but may be an extra (the cost is about 10 euros/day) Standard room are not big but are clean and confortable

I stayed at the New Chagala for 4 nights and I found the staff, rooms and food all to be great. Staff were really polite and helpful. Rooms were clean, comfortable and cozy

From outside hotel doesn't look nice. Old building. But room is big, clean. AC working properly, not noisy. For price it is very good place to stay

Rooms are perfectly clean and comfortable. Although its a little further away from the center, downtown is easily reachable by Yandex and there are also many restaurants nearby. Airport is also only 10 minutes away
