Inexpensive accomodations in Kazakhstan

We were in the Interia restaurant, which is located on Abylaikhan Avenue, the restaurant is rustic, you won’t find gloss and luxury here, something between a restaurant and a cafe, but the hall in which we were ideal for holding small events like Kalzha, kudalyk, birthdays, etc

There were 3 round tables, there was still room for dancing and entertainment, and there was even a separate table for the Kalta show! There are sofas in the hall, parking, check-in is convenient, the waiter service was polite and courteous!

Not too far from the centre. Kind and helpful staff but weak at languages. An advice: if you go anywhere by taxi let the recepcionist call a can and to atrange the fyte in advance!

The very best place in town! For 9000 tenge you get a double room with private bathroom and breakfast, that’s a good deal! The staff is very friendly, and owner very helpful and speaks perfect English and can help you with anything

Excellent hotel right near centre of town. Rooms clean, air conditioning and shower works, breakfast was good. Host was friendly but we needed Google Translate. We would recommend this hotel. Good Value.

Such an excellent, clean and quiet place! We stayed at a deluxe room, which has a spacious living area adjoined to the bedroom. For 12 000 KZT, it was an incredible value. Breakfast included in price.

For the price service and amenities are really good, breakfast is included. They speak in Russian and Kazakh language mostly, our experience is good at least. It's so close to the Mosque ( Meschit)

I forgot my passport in a room (after they offered a free room upgrade!) and they managed to send my passport to Almaty. Their kindness saved me loads of time and worries

There are really not enough curtains and thicker mattresses. The price of the cheapest bed for 12 hours is 1700 tenge, which translated into rubles is 280 rubles or $4

There is Wi-Fi! Password: 25695502K I stayed here for a day. A duvet cover was not provided with the bedding set. If you take a bed in a hostel and not a separate room, then the shower you will get is far from the best

Great value in a good location. Clean comfortable rooms with lots of hot water. Basic restaurant and bar in the lobby. Very helpful friendly staff.

Very friendly and helpful guesthouse. Altai, Alnura and Danil were always available to answer questions, and they let us keep our bags at the guesthouse and have a shower whilst we waited for the train the next day

It seems to be a renovated old Soviet building. The rooms are simple but clean and the price is reasonable. I stayed there for 4 days in the summer of 24.

The guest rooms are clean and comfortable, but the bed linens and towels are washed-out. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it for more than a night

The daytime admission price includes use of umbrellas and sun loungers on the beach, a barbecue area, and restrooms, which we were very pleased about! Besides the beach, there are also swimming pools and a separate, huge children's pool (also included in the entrance fee)

And, of course, you can bring any food and drinks you like. We had a great time and, like true city dwellers, of course, got a sunburn! We'll be visiting often from now on!

You get what you pay for. It's a chilled vibe. I look forward to going back in peak season, to experience the resort at its finest.

Great option for stay if you are on a budget. Very neat and clean rooms with clean sheets and towels. Just next to Almaty 1 train terminal. Hot and cold drinking water was available at the common area in the property

The architect of the building resembles a Railway station and is based on the same theme. Mostly the interior like stairs are wooden and inside Rooms floor is covered with mattress

Everything about this stay is very very convenient for a Solo Traveller. It’s very near to the Almaty 1 Vokzal (Train Station). For bathing there is facility of hot water

If you are comfortable with Sauna bath you can get one here. For drinking they provide free water. Staff is very nice to talk to and very helpful

You will get your separate storage space or cupboard. You can make tea or coffee they have kettle. The bed sheets are dry cleaned regularly
