The staff at check in was very friendly. The room was very clean.
The breakfast buffet is great with a lot of options, fresh and tasty. The staff speaks English very well and are thoughtful. Being connected to the hospital next door is a plus. The roof terrace with exercise room is very nice.
Nice staff, good breakfast and dinner. Need to have car to move around
The property is immediately annexed to the Galenia Hospital where we went for our annual checkups and so it's extremely convenient to stay there, as a corridor leads straight from the lobby to the hospital. The beds are comfy, the amenities are fine. There are nice restaurants and shopping centers that are nearby. The towels are terrible and the bathroom stalls look like they need better cleaning...
The pool needs a complete retile and was a bit slimy. Bed was comfortable but pillows were old, flat or lumpy. Hotel is clean and quiet and staff were wonderful. Breakfast buffet was quite good and staff were very accommodating. Not a walkable area but Uber is cheap. All in all, a pleasant stay

Wonderful hotel. Great restaurant nearby
Great adventure! Staff were cool and helpful. Thanks it to made it so special!
Overall it was a good stay. Rooms are clean and staff was nice. A bit further away from Roma North but still convenient location.
The smallest Novotel room I've stayed in. Apart from the good location, it's really average. The breakfast is OK and the waiter is very enthusiastic, which is very comforting
Small modern rooms but great location for business travelers directly across WTC.
Mr. JUAN, so good a waiter, help me to order wonderful meal. And Mr. Michael, the chef, provide fantastic taste! so nice a cook for a wonderful day?

Very nice hotel. Impeccable cleaning which was very important to us aa we were looking for hotels. The team were extremely friendly and helpful. Area is safe and there are lots of cafes and restaurants around. We will go back for sure if we are in CDMX.
Laila hotel is in a perfect location on the Reforma Avenue. You can walk to a lot of place, bus/metro stations are nearby, most importantly it’s in a safe neighborhood. The room is clean, staffs are very friendly. Their breakfast buffet is the highlight, with good verity of foods and very tasty fruits. I totally enjoyed my stay there!
Service was ok the first day. A guy named Oliver brought my luggage to the room. First room was horrible. Walls were so thin and there was a gap under the door so I heard some young crazy people having a party and yelling and singing at the top of their lungs. Once the party finished, around 1am, some went into the hallway and started talking and laughing, not caring that it was the middle of the night...
The hotel has a great location, with many restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are rather small, the facilities are a bit old, and the cleanliness is just average—barely cleaned. The breakfast is decent.
This is my first time in Mexico. When I first arrived at the hotel, the reception welcome us very kind and warm, and I especially want to thank Mauricio and Alejandro. The rooms were quite clean and spacious. The staff assists immediately when needed. The hotel's location is wonderful. The only drawback for me was the breakfast; there should have been more alternatives for international guests staying...
A very pleasant stay in an outstanding hotel. Very well-located just one block from Reforma Ave. Sound-proofed windows block traffic noise, especially on the upper floors. Good A/C and strong hot water in the shower. Comfortable large beds with plenty of pillows, both soft and firm. Breakfast buffet is good and plentiful, although the juices are disappointing bad.

We spent a few days here during our anniversary and thanksgiving. Hotel was great place because walking distance from historic district and many coffee and restaurants places. Would love to stay here again. Service was excellent
I stayed in this hotel back in 2019 it was getting renovated. I Return back in 2025 the hotel looks modern the lobby is large and spacious. The bedroom is large and also the bathroom. The staff at hotel where warm and welcoming.
The hotel is in a perfect location, just a short walk from the Zócalo. The rooms were very clean, the restaurant served delicious food, and the bar offered a nice variety of drinks.I definitely plan to come back next year for Mexico’s Independence Day.
We stayed at this hotel for a week while we were visiting Mexico City. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Zocalo which is the main square where a lot of activities take place. During the week we were there, there was a celebration of indigenous people. There were dances, singing and music and food. It was a very enjoyable week. The hotel rooms are a decent size and are nicely...
we arrived here last night. the location is very easy to find and we were very pleased at the outside of the building. the modern look is always fantastic. the hotel staff was very friendly to us and offered to take our bags to the rooms. we were given fantastic rom and the sheets were very clean. i recommend this hotel for tourists and foreigners to stay when in mexico city.
Nice hotel with a great breakfast. Hotel staff very helpful. Great location just 2 blocks from the main cathedral plaza and pedestrian only shopping streetThey have 4 bicycles free to use with a deposit that is refunded when returned. Great hidden oasis in the heart of Guadelajara. Also Pele once stayed here. Rooms are super comfortable and spacious. Pool was nice and warm. They are currently upgrading some rooms around the pool, but we never heard any construction. Great stay.
Ordinary, OK. A little better than the Express Hotel. But this hotel is not new.
This hotel has very good facilities, delicious breakfast, and thoughtful service. There is a large supermarket in front of it with a variety of Mexican products. I like it very much. There is a commercial center nearby with a lot of snacks. There is also a courier company nearby, which is very convenient for sending things... Not bad, I will stay here next time...
The hotel is relatively old, but the service is very good, making people feel warm and comfortable. The air conditioner in the room is quite noisy, and the location is a little off, but it is quiet and safe, and the cost performance is there
The room has a bit of smell, the breakfast is good, short trip can be refunded
The hotel service is warm, clean and tidy, the suite is spacious, the hotel location is excellent, the room cleaning staff is also very friendly, the front desk service is ok, they will help you park the car without having to park it yourself. The room price is also very affordable, cost-effective!

The room was nice, with a large window, and very clean. Soap was provided, and the facilities were good. The standard breakfast was simple, but a premium breakfast could be ordered for an extra fee. Convenient transportation.

The hotel was amazing, so much history in those walls and lovely gardens. The staff was attentive and friendly. A special mention to Roberto at the front desk who's sense of humor and helpfulness was outstanding. The packets of chocolate every night was a special treat!
The hotel is gorgeous. The food outstanding. The location is the sweet spot of the hotel. Basically everything went amazing
Facility was impeccable…perfect location. Food was fabulous and the people warm and friendly
Went with my husband and teenage daughter over new years 2025/6. Absolutely loved it—the location, the staff, the cleanliness, the pool, the courtyards. One note, we had a room w 2 full beds—and the beds for my husband and I were a bit small even though we are both lean. But we made it just fine. We would absolutely return!
The rooms were in good condition and the history of the hotel was amazing. However, for me, paying ove 2,000 for a weekend was way too much money. It's not like we were in Downtown Manhattan. Sorry! as beautiful as the town was, paying that kind of money was just not worth it.
Beautiful property, friendly and helpful staff and excellent location. I couldnt imagine staying anywhere else!

I do not recommend this hotel if you like coffee in your room (the machine didn’t work) or a clean bathroom. There were fairly big hairs on the floor and where you put the soap in the shower, the water stunk, and there were rust stains on the floor. The vibe was absolutely blah all over this hotel. Blah.
I will be very frank and objective, the stay is good, the staff service is excellent, the facilities are good, but the bed is terrible, terrible in capital letters, to the point of sinking without any comfort in it, and that does not allow you to rest, which in general is the primary objective.

Lots of potential: close to the downtown square, restaurants and other points of interest. The restaurant in the premises is good, but a bit noisy. So if you are not eating there, the noise level is high.
Not great for holiday, just fine for quick stay. Parking is not in the property, it is close but it is need it to the staff to open the gate, at night is not ideal. Hotel have several not hotel restaurantes inside the hotel and they are too loud. Again, not for holiday only for quick stay.
Very pintoresque!! Being a restored building but in a very charming way, makes this place unique! A restaurant is in the property but is not part of the hotel, limited parking but walking distance to downtown.
It’s in a good location but the staff wasn’t very nice
Loved the colonial atmosphere and look to Al Otro Lado. The receptionist, Sheyla, was very friendly and helpful. The staff was nice and helpful. The unaffiliated restaurant in front is good, but a bit noisy during business hours, so if you want more privacy, ask for a room around the back patio.
Relaxing place Nice people. Old convent converted rooms. Very nice. Comfortable beds and linens. Rooftop restaurant noisy some not all nights but lots of sound in Mexico. Neighborhood always felt safe and great weekend market across the street. Clean water morning coffee for 20 pesos. All good

Hotel Cristal | Cancun, Mexico If you’re looking for that "1990s Spring Break" nostalgia mixed with a view that looks like a literal postcard, Hotel Cristal is your time machine. We have been vacationing at this resort for the past 32 years. We have seen the upgrades throughout the years, as well as the consistent views of the most beautiful beach in Cancun. The hotel was well appointed and conveniently located near a mall, though not very close to the beaches. The location is a bit off, being on the edge of the hotel zone. Day tours with hotel pickup don't seem to cover this property. Staff were generally speaking polite and helpful. The buffet breakfast i guess the staff got overwhelmed because many soccer players were in the hotel due to a tournament. Rather than that all was good
We have such a great time with the kids. Great breakfast, nice pool to play a little bit, they gave us a welcome drink at the check inn. The rool was clean and full amenities, extra pillows, coffee maker, staff friendly, game station was an extra.
