Hotel Club Cala Romani in Cales de Mallorca

We checked in late and there was a queue so we had to wait a while so we were exhausted when we got to our room. Room was very basic but it was clean and a place to sleep. We had a sea view so I was happy about that. Food was good. Pools clean . The beach nearby was stunning. The staff worked their socks off they were amazing! Just one young receptionist that had attitude with me but I didn’t let it ruin my holiday. All on all we had a lovely time.

Loved every second of my stay at Club Cala Romani, from the moment I arrived it felt smooth and welcoming.
Upon check-in, I was so impressed at how quick and easy it was, it honestly felt like I never had to wait at all.
Knowing how check-ins can drag sometimes, it was refreshing to be settled in so fast.
Everything about my room was amazing, spotless, and even came with a lovely special treat waiting for me.

Let me say, Naim was fantastic, friendly, helpful, and one of the most down-to-earth people I’ve met.
On reception, Anna and Joanna were both incredibly kind and guided me whenever I needed help exploring the area.
Very grateful for their warmth and patience, they truly made my stay even better.
Even though the food was a bit basic, that didn’t bother me because I wasn’t really there for the food.
Sometimes I would just grab a pizza or burger and eat in the room, occasionally some Bulgarian treats.

Plus, there’s a beautiful beach just down the green path, peaceful, scenic, and absolutely worth the walk.
Every moment there felt calm and special, the perfect place to unwind.
The whole atmosphere of Club Cala Romani was welcoming and full of good energy.
You can tell the team genuinely care about making guests feel happy.
All in all, an unforgettable stay that I’d recommend to anyone — can’t wait to come back! ❤️

A lot of harsh reviews on here, rooms are clean and cleaned daily by friendly staff, reception staff are friendly and very helpful. Tv remote and WiFi not included is interesting but not the end of the world, who needs it when on holiday anyway?
All inclusive drinks are included using a cup system, maximum of 2 per person at a time but you can have all you want so is no big deal.
Really nice area and the pool is great.

If you want a quiet place with no children or drunken brits then definitely not the place for you.

We were nervous going as we’d read terrible reviews. Don’t worry at all. The hotel is lovely. It’s really clean. The two cups per person issue means that bar queues are always swift, so don’t stress. Check in could be slow - but apparently you can do it in line! There were plenty of sunbeds and we enjoyed the shade if the trees by the snack bar end of the pool. The snack bar lunch is poolside grub. Burgers, chips, toasties and salad. Easy fodder for by the pool, but the restaurant is right there too, so there’s food for all. The restaurant food isn’t as varied as some, but it’s absolutely fine and even as a veggie, there was always something tasty. The beach is stunning and only a few minutes stroll on a straight path from the hotel. There’s a few steps down to the beach. Crystal blue waters. Absolutely lovely. At the top of the steps, there is a little beach shop. Go in there and past the hats, suncream and buckets etc you go through to the most fabulous, quirky cliff top bar and restaurant!!! It’s a real gem!! It overlooks the beach. We found it by accident. At the hotel, the shows are a mixture of acts - karaoke….. as expected. The circus was amazing. There’s a terrace bar separate from the show bar so you can chill or party. We were a group of 8. 4 lads aged 17-20 and us parents. There was plenty to do. Water polo. Aqua aerobics. Sports courts. Games. Great pools for kids too. There’s a little one completely separate for tiny ones with its own play park too! No issues with pooh in the pool whilst we were there. Apparently it had happened, but one pool got shut for a few hours and the others were still open. Perils of lots of little kids I guess. Overall we had a fantastic time. It’s a three star hotel and it’s doing well. I didn’t encounter rude staff. The food was fine. It was clean with lovely pools and lots to do. If you want five star food, no kids and luxury, then don’t book a three star hotel and grumble. It’s a family style hotel. Kiddies playing. Pool tables. Ping pong. It’s not classy but I’ve paid more before and not had somewhere as clean with as much going on. If you’re happy chilling and being entertained and fed in glorious sunshine by a beautiful beach - book it!!

I stayed here for a week with my 4-year-old and was pleasantly surprised after reading some of the negative reviews beforehand. The hotel is in a fantastic location — just a 5-minute walk to all the local shops, bars, and restaurants, and only 10 minutes to the beach, which was absolutely beautiful. The hotel is a 3-star, and it feels like one — rooms are quite dated, but they were clean and the air conditioning worked really well, which was a big plus. We arrived at 3am and check-in was quick and easy. The whole area and hotel felt safe, which was really important to me as I was travelling alone with a child. The pool area was great — very clean, and the kids’ entertainment around the pool was brilliant. My little one loved it and was always watching what was going on. We didn’t eat much at the hotel restaurant, but we enjoyed some lovely meals at the nearby restaurants just down the road. I only drank soft drinks while there, which were fine for us. The staff, especially the maids, were lovely and always friendly. All in all, it was cheap and cheerful — you really do get what you pay for, and for a budget break in the sun, it was more than enough. I’d definitely consider coming back!
