Bolero Apartments in Lloret de Mar

Lovely hotel staff where really helpful and friendly on arrival and with any enquiries you have to ask. Very clean hotel, the pool area was also clean and spacious. Only thing is the pool is very cold but once you get in it's fine. The hotel is located next to shops, restaurants and beaches all within walking distance. I would visit again in the future.The only down fall I would say is that the hotel doesn't offer entertainment at night but other than that it was lovely

We had booked a cheap last-minute holiday for a few days in the sun and were placed in Balero Park. We had read some negative reviews but we found the place excellent. The staff were wonderful, and couldn't do enough to help. The room was very functional with a balcony and all the amenities you need. Rooms are not the Ritz but if you are looking for that standard you are on the wrong website. They were very clean, functional, and overall great value. The hotel looks a little dated from the outside but perfect inside and they have a great outdoor bar and pool area. Some people pay small amounts and still complain so I wouldn't let them put you off. If you had any issue there I have no doubt the staff will sort for you.

2 week stay.
Upon arriving to the hotel we were greeted and checked in very quickly. Before arrival it was stated that a 200€ deposit had to pe paid but this was returned at the end of the stay. However in order to get the deposite back you have to do what the cleaners are paid to do. You can't leave a spot of rubbish in there.

Rooms - The rooms are very basic. We had a self catering room and to be honest it wasn't that bad except for having very little cooking pans and pots to use. They provide you with washing up liquid and sponge. The bathroom I would say was the best. Big walk in shower and plenty of room. Only down fall was it that you only get 2 toilet rolls and have to buy your own for the rest of the holiday. They provide you with kettle, however you need to collect this from reception. Toaster, coffee machine, fridge, 2 ring hob and microwave.

Service - There was very poor service while we stayed. We had clean towels in the room when we arrived. It was stated that we could get clean towels every 4 days but we had to but them in a black bag, take them down stairs to reception, to be given clean ones. As for the bedding if you stay for 1 week, you don't get you bedding changed but if you stay for 2 weeks then you go down to reception ask for the beds to be changed but only on day 7. However, they give you the bed sheets and you have to change the covers yourself. There was no cleaner that came and cleaned your rooms and you had to take your own rubbish to the bins which were located down the street away from the hotel.

Food and drink - The food was ok but very expensive for the portion sizes. One hot dog and chips cost 9€. Don't get me wrong the food tasted lovely and everything was freshly cooked in front of you but still to expensive. The menue has got a wide range of food on there but I couldn't tell the difference between the breakfast menu and lunch menu except for tea and coffee. However, they do do some lovely cocktails and the prices for the drinks are definitely worth every penny. They have 4 vending machines in the reception are which provide snacks and drinks and the prices are really cheap. Most items are 1.50€

Accessibility - with having a mobility scooter for my nanna the hotel was very Accessible. There are ramps at the front of the hotel and 2 lifts which take you to every floor. To get to the pool there is a ramp that goes round the back of the restaurant and up to the pool area. However, the hotel needs to put a little ramp at the doorway to get to the pool as we had to keep getting my nanna out to lift the scooter back inside. When booking the hotel make sure that if you have a friend or family that can't walk to request a room that's near the lifts as the further rooms have steps that go up to them.

The hotel is very nice and quite for a lovely relaxing holiday. It is a 5-10 minute walk to the main strip and beach. There are many of different restaurants and gift shops available.
There is a supermarket in front of the hotel. There is parking available however it cost around 15-17€ a day. If you don't want to pay this there is parking on the streets and a parking garage just round the corner which is cheaper. Do be mindfull when parking on streets as you have to pay aswell also the police round there are constantly looking and will tow any vehicle that is not allowed to park there.

The staff are very friendly and will do anything you ask for definitely would come back again but only if there is improvement especially withing the cleaning and rooms service after all we are on holiday and you have cleaners that are getting paid to do nothing.

I stayed at Bolero Park and found it to be a decent, budget-friendly option. The rooms were basic but clean, and the pool was a nice feature. However, the food was disappointing and lacked variety. A good stay if you don't mind eating elsewhere.

We stayed for only one night. It was super cheap as not in season. Amazing views from the balcony. Super friendly staff. Good location. Easy access from/to bus station. Luggage lockers on site. We were very pleased with the facilities as I expected lower standards for this price. But during the high season, I can only imagine how busy this place can get.

Nice hotel food good priced well and just let down about the bar down stairs was expecting a lively bar but absolutely needs a good refurb and some entertainment going on

little noisy at night however, not bad.

grandkids loved the pool.
overall a lovely week away .

Everything that you need for a holiday.
Good pool area, friendly staff, functional kitchen, decent bed and powerful shower with constant hot water.
10 minutes walk from the beach. 5 minutes walk from shops and restaurants.
Situated in the quieter Fenals district (which suited us)
Probably need a taxi or bus to the livelier Lloret.
