Inter 2 in Salou

We stayed here all inclusive. It was a cheap deal. We paid £660 each for 14 nights flights,transfers, room, food and drink. It was definately value for money.The location of the hotel is good and you can get a bus to Tarragona or Reus just across the road.Ask reception about ten euro bus tickets Reception are very helpful. The place was very basic (that's what we expected for what we paid) and our room and corridor were clean .We were in a studio in the main hotel. Staff in general were pleasant , helpful and hard working. The food in the restaurant was perfectly acceptable with about 4 choices of main meal each night. Some of the food was lovely ,eg, the paella, osso bucco,chicken wings, shin of beef. There was also the usual choices such as lasagne,shepherds pie,plenty of fish .There was also 'junk food' eg chicken nuggets,burgers ,breaded fish shapes chips etc. So basically something for everyone.Breakfast all the usual English breakfast stuff bacon sausage egg etc,Also cereals,fruit ,croissants etc. Desserts were the same normal ones that you get in most Spanish restaurants. The place was basically for families with children. The entertainment team was very full on and good with the children and they seemed to enjoy it. Now the moans from an older persons viewpoint ,sorry, it is absolutely ear damagingly too loud. The noise is relentless.There is no where pleasant to go and sit and have a conversation without banging music and or televisons blaring. .Even the restaurant has thumping music that there is no need for..There was the Beer Garden that you can access from the restaurant in Inter2 (or from the hotel up the road) but again its a games room so not cosy or that pleasant to sit in. (Bring your own toilet paper,there is never any in the loo)The outside of this does have a lovely lit up decking area at night. We eventually went out of the hotel at night to Los Castilos cross the road for some normality. Things usually quieten down about 12.30-1.00 apart from the stragglers banging doors, shouting etc .Don't expect to be able to sleep before about 1 am and even then you can hear tv from next door even with ear plugs in. Perhaps a sign in the rooms to say be respect your neighbours ,be aware of volume of Tv or use subtitles . I think all it needs to be more acceptable is for the entertainment to finish earlier at night eg 11.0 clock and the volume to be much lower and for there to be an indoor area where there is no tv blaring.
