The hotel is clean. The food is solid. But the noise level that passes through the walls makes the impression worse and is not pleasant.

Everything was suitable for me.

The experience was positive. The service was good, and the facilities were adequate, although the capacity of the elevators could be improved. The breakfast was fine but could be much better.

Excellent Stay! The hotel is in a fantastic location—close to everything you’d want to see and do. The rooms and common areas were spotless, reflecting the staff’s great attention to detail. As always, I stay here when I'm on business trips. There are all sorts of restaurants right outside – it's the most convenient location. Lots of shops, great for shopping!

Nice hotel about 16 minutes walk from the Santiago Cathedral. Quiet area, pleasant rooms, good breakfast. Very little interaction with staff. Set menu for dinner as pictured was underwhelming … the potato was hard and dry and the pork was tough. Otherwise a good stay.

The hotel room is spacious and warm, the bedding is comfortable, the faucet in the bathroom has plenty of water, and the bathroom is large with four faucets, which can accommodate two people to take a bath at the same time! The breakfast is rich and the coffee is very good! It's a pity that the facade was under repair when I went there, so I couldn't take pictures of the beautiful scenery.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Great location, over looking the ocean and within walking distance to everything to see. Great service from the staff. We booked a balcony room which had great views. If you book a balcony room, be aware of the 15 step circular staircase to get to the room.

Our second stay at Melia Maria Pita - great location & wonderful sea view. Large clean room. Great breakfast & parking facilities (at extra cost).

The hotel is right in front of the beach, a perfect location, that allows you to relax and enjoy the city. Unfortunately the rooms are not sound proof, and we waked up everyday to the sound of the other guests living, but worse than that, the sound of the vacuum cleaner banging into the walls and the furniture being moved around!

Location is key but the service was terrible. We had a nice view of the ocean from our seaside room. WiFi in the room was dismal. In the lobby Wi-Fi was great, the front desk staff did not know how to make it better. The restaurant server put us on a network on that floor only. The AC never cooled the room. We were there in mid-September. One outlet by the beds.

I did not find lunch great, but reasonable value. Breakfast was good. Service throughout was faultless. Look forward to going back.

We stayed for a few days in September and I must say the staff are amazing they cant do enough for you (Reception, Restaurant & Guest Service). Excellent food both breakfast and the a la carte restaurant. Service is wonderful. Everything about it is luxury. Fantastic location. Highly recommend and can't wait to return. Perfect place to stop on the Camino. The rooms seem to have recently been remodeled and are relatively modern looking and spacious. The bathroom in the room was very clean and modern. It is a good place to stop on the Camino as it is right on the route and is a very good price (I paid 56 euros for 1 night for a single use room with a queen bed). Of my 8+ stops on the Camino, it was definitely the best

Overall, the hotel was very good. The room was spacious, well-designed, and very comfortable, which made the stay enjoyable. However, it is unacceptable to have a double bed for a couple that is only 135 cm wide. For a hotel of this standard, a proper double or queen-size bed should be the minimum. This significantly impacted the comfort of the stay and should be addressed.

I really liked this hotel. Beds were comfortable, room was clean. The entire hotel was clean and in good shape. Nice/friendly front desk staff. And I really enjoyed the breakfast; fairly good variety and all the food choices were very fresh. We stayed in a villa which was spacious but dark. It also wasn’t super clean (cobwebs everywhere) and the service left much to be desired. I would say it’s good for a 3 star hotel as far as service and amenities, but not a 4 star.

Good quality hotel, excellent pool area with nicely kept terraces with sun loungers. Room bit dated and bathroom smelled like it had been smoked in, but otherwise bathroom good sized and shower good. Breakfast was good, buffet style. Room a bit tired and air-conditioning bit noisy but worked well to keep room cool. Bed was comfy but no kettle/coffee maker in Room. Everything is as expected, except for one small improvement: the outdoor parking lot should be reserved for hotel guests only, because everyone outside the hotel parks their vehicles there, leaving guests without parking. The indoor parking lot has few spaces and no reservations. This is a negative.

It was a family trip with a long journey. We couldn't find a good hotel with an affordable price. But it is quite distanced from the city center though, the hotel was quite nice. The room was spacious (it was a bonus) and the bed was clean and soft. The room service was perfect, nothing to complain.

Modern hotel with olde world touches in the rooms. Lovely fountain and open plan vista on the inside all floors can be seen from the ground floor and downwards from the top level (breakfast room) with an array of real plants hanging down from each level.

This hotel is not small in this town. The location is quite convenient, and you can walk to the center. It happened to be a major power outage in Spain, so the hotel provided us with instant noodles.

This hotel told me it was full even it accepted my booking. I was sent to another hotel without shuttling service, I paid for the taxi. It’s not a common experience like this. The other hotel, Eurostar Gran has good service, but indeed too old to be fresh.

I loved my stay at this hotel! I loved that it was located so close to the sea and just a 20 minute walk to Torre de Hercules! And the walk is amazing! The hotel offers rooms with amazing sea view. While its not central, I prefer this as A Courña is a costal city and thats what you're there for. There's a nunber of bars and restaurants close by and its very walkable. It deserves its four stars. The room is incredibly wide. (a triple one). It looks like that there is a living room if it hosts just two guest. Two safes. A very big wardrobe. And the wc has a washing department an the bathing department. I have missed a toilet brush just to keep “the seat” clean after use.

I was here for a non too pleasant visit so I was in and out pretty quickly every day. But at all times the staff made my stay nicer than I expected. The location is not the best for all cases as it was busy with a lot of building work in the area at the time, but it worked great for me.

Maybe this place was once a proper 4 star hotel. Right now, it is sitting at the top level of 3 stars. Everything works fine. The place is very clean and the hospitality is great. You have amazing restaurants and shops around, so it is a pretty nice location.

It’s misleading to call this hotel 4 stars. 2-3 at most. Whilst the price did match the level of accommodation it would be more honest to call things as they are. I also experienced the same problem as others with the noise from next door room. They were just talking but the sound proofing is non existent. For some reason this hotel keeps putting people next to each other despite this well known problem...

The hotel is truly 3*** 4 instead. The rooms sockets are broken and if you gotta work there is no socket under the desk. Service was good and staff very nice, however there is no restaurant in the hotel and you are forced to have dinner outside. Outside there are no many options.
