Went here for a couple of days and was absolutely amazing even compared to other universal hotels! Everything was super professional. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the location but a nice path around the shore for those who enjoy a morning run. The outside bar was great and the spa, pool and the 2 saunas were also top tier with an ice bath massage shower and even a water bucket drop! Recommend...

We had an absolutely fantastic stay here for a week. Our room was excellent with an amazing sea view that really couldn’t have been better, and all the staff were extremely friendly & helpful. The restaurants at the hotel were also brilliant, and the pool area & communal areas were all spotless & very relaxing. We will absolutely be back!

We visited in late October, just before the hotel closed for the season. The rates were significantly reduced, allowing us to experience a spectacular hotel for a more affordable budget. The view from our room was incredible. The staff went above and beyond to help with any queries we had and the breakfast was delicious. We will definitely aim to visit again.

My stay at The Donna Portals var really good. I got a nice upgrade on arrival, rooms clean and neat. Service was outstanding with being driven to the padel courts or to the harbour free of charge. On the points to improve, the room had a bit of a smell from the shower sewage, and the walls are thin so you hear when the doors to nearby room closes with quite a bang. Otherwise all very good!

Fabulous Resort This resort is amazing. From the minute you arrive you are treated like very special guests. All staff are incredibly polite and helpful. Visiting family on the island during off season.  The Lindner is open year round and a good alternative to the Hilton, where I Usually stay due to status. As soon as you walk into this hotel you feel and immense sense of space. The grounds are extensively lawn and with trees providing shade when needed. An excellent swimming pool. There are also three Jacuzzis within the grounds two of them on top of the cliff overlooking the sea. The other one in a shady wood. Beautiful location, very friendly and helpful staff and just so peaceful, it makes you feel good. No children makes it the perfect place to relax. Very good food and an excellent wine list, both of which can be savoured as you gaze out across the gardens and the sea. The hotel will be refurbishing the rooms during the winter, after which I suspect it will easily deserve a full 5 star rating.

We recently spent a night here. The setting and grounds are beautiful and so are the views from the property. Our room was very nice with our own private outdoor seating area over looking the water away from our hotel room. The service from the staff was outstanding. We had dinner in the restaurant and my wife said it was one of her favourite meals of all time. Highly recommended.

I am very sad to not give this place 5* as we had a wonderful holiday but one incident deeply ruined our experience. We booked this hotel for our 5 year anniversary and we were very much looking forward to our stay. Dennis at reception warmly welcomed us and was very friendly and helpful. On the day of our anniversary, we got to our room and there was a high pitch buzzing noise that would go off intermittently...
