Now Benidorm in Benidorm

Room was absolutely stinking, hadn’t been cleaned properly before we had the keys, still lady’s hair on my bed, we had a freezing cold shower all weekend to which we had notified reception who said that’ll it be fixed. It never did. Had to bite the bullet and take it like a man. May as well have had a hosepipe. The mess Underneath the bed I’d rather not go there… The whole floor underneath us was getting renovated so waking up with a hangover every morning to the sound of an angle grinder or a sledgehammer wasn’t on my plans that weekend so that was definitely a putting off, you needed a cscs card to stay there!

I would personally not recommend this place to anyone even if it was just a stag or hen! The place was filthy, the full time I stayed (13th July 2025- 17th July 2025) the pool was not cleaned once it was all cloudy with flies and dirt in the pool and around the pool was all dirty and grim! The stairs going up to your rooms where all wobbly and I don't think they have been cleaned ever!! The whole place was very dull and dusty! The rooms are very basic. The kitchen utilities we're not cleaned, the floors had loads of chips and same with the tables and the wardrobe was hanging on my a thread as same with the light! There was built up dust in the rooms and the bed are not particularly all that comfy and of course not clean! The walls had dirty marks EVERYWHERE! the windows also dont lock either! The hotel next to this one looks like it's a party hotel also and had music blasting from 10am - 9pm so if you want a nap your screwed! I don't know if it's because it's apartments but our rooms were not cleaned once since we got there so had no fresh bedded etc and if you wanted a towel they charge 1€! Staff are lovely and very attentive that's the only good part about the whole place! Also may I add the kitchen also had ants on the floor and all around the kitchen and there was no unopened food around! If you want a good holiday definitely pay a little extra for a good hotel because even if it's for a stag or hen and just about booze and sleeping you still want somewhere clean to go back to and have a pool you can cool off during the day!

3 lads stayed in one of the apartments. The room was very tired, not very clean, the windows didn't lock, the bedding had some marks on it, the kitchen had only a few utensils and a few cups. The pool area was ok but the water was ' murky ' shall we say, never cleaned whilst we stayed Monday to Thursday 17th. Reception was open some days not others, staff were friendly enough. 150 euros deposit felt steep given the fact there wasn't that value of furniture in the room. Marks all over the walls and seemed to have had a leak at some point with some dodgy plastering. Electrics, especially the light was ropey to say the least. The windows in the main room didn't lock. Despite the hotels short comings we had a great time in benidorm. These are apartments so next time we will pay a bit more and go for a hotel.
