Good choice for great views in an area of spectacular views. Choice of hotel or apartment accommodation, with rooms and apartments of various sizes. Good for families and those with young children. We were usung public transport and this hotel was perfect.  It is only a 2 minute walk from the Central Station.  Plus there was a tram 1/2 block from the hotel that took you downtown.  We were given a “Basel Card” which gave us free transport, even to the airport. The location was a huge plus, being very close to the train station and the tram stop that goes all over the city. The room size was great, and I really appreciated the tea/coffee making facilities, complimentary snacks, and the refrigerator.

The room was excellent, very spacious, and the service was incredibly warm and welcoming. They even provided a free public transport card. The hotel is right next to the train station, making transportation super convenient. Plus, there are small trains right outside the hotel entrance, all offering free rides!

Top Hotel, very cozy room with spacious bathroom. Super new and super clean. Stuff friendly and helpful. Only 4 stars because at breakfast we had to wait for a table as there are to less. And breakfast buffet was to small. Only very few things to eat.

We were able to check in an hour early as our room was ready. This was much appreciated as we flew all night and part of the next day to get there. The front desk was exceptional in advising us on directions and how to use the trams in Basel. The room was very well appointed.

I slept comfortably at the hotel. The reception staff were friendly. I was surprised by how old the TVs in the room were, which was annoying because there was no Netflix or YouTube. On the other hand, they provided a free bottle of water in the room, which I haven't seen in other hotels in Europe. Plus, there was a coffee machine, a kettle, and tea. I recommend it.

I accidentally booked the wrong hotel; I had originally planned to stay in Lucerne, but now I'm an hour's drive away. Still, it was a pleasant two-day stay. A fantastic yoga and spa hotel! This is my third time here, and it's truly worth it. After hiking or trekking, be sure to soak in the pool or swim to completely relax! They offer a shuttle service from the train station, as it's quite a distance from the station and inconvenient with luggage. However, if you contact the hotel in advance, they can arrange pick-up and drop-off.

We had a really nice stay in this wonderful hotel. The room was modern and clean and all the facilities are perfect. We went skiing directly from the hotel entry, and later a little skilift brings you back to the hotel. The staff is helpful and allways there when you need them. Breakfast is top and well-served

Great mountain views! It only took us about 90 minutes to get to Jungfraujoch the next morning. The welcome drink was lovely, and the staff were all very warm and helpful. Breakfast was delicious too – especially the omelets and fried eggs with various fillings like chicken and bacon, they were all excellent.

Excellent location, just steps from the lake and close to the city center and market. The hotel is new and clean, and most importantly, the air conditioning is great for summer (I've tried it before). The service is excellent and the place is quiet.

Loved my stay at the Lowen hotel ticked all the boxes. The corner room was spacious with 4 big windows giving a reasonable view of the lake. The staff at reception were great. The location in the old town opposite the lake can't be beaten. Nice to find a family run hotel. My only grumble breakfast could be better especially the bakery quality and coffee. Nice renovated Hotel in Zug very close to the lake and also the center. Staff is very friendly and the rooms are nice - some are facing lake of Zug. It is a smaller, nice and cozy place - not that cheap, rather on the higher end of pricing, but this you know before... All in all it was nice and it is recommended as there are also hardly any alternatives around.

Actually the Loewe in Zug turns to be an institution. Located at a central place near the lake offer to the clients a unique experience, Swiss quality service, attention and value. The restaruant with a large menu, offers all types of dishes, we really enjoyed the service, that was garnet also to the success of the meetings held.

The hotel is absolutely spectacular. The location is perfect, the rooms are very comfortable, the spa is well-equipped, the breakfast has absolutely everything, and the shuttle service is punctual. The only drawback is that the concierge doesn't handle restaurant reservations.

Our stay at the Europe Hotel was perfect! My daughter and I were here to ski for the first time and we loved everything about this hotel. The room was beautiful, cozy and modern with a great view from the balcony. The spa every night was the perfect end to a day of skiing and each and every staff member was warm, friendly and helpful! Was here for a long weekend, the room was clean and spacious enough to move around in. The staff was really friendly, managed with a little German but they speak English too. The food in the restaurant was great and based on how the menu is setup is also changes regularly with the seasons.

The scenery was beautiful, but it was too hot during the few days I was there. I couldn't sleep at night because of the lack of air conditioning.

This holiday cabin was really charming, and most importantly, their restaurant was delicious. The staff were also very friendly; they even made us a packed breakfast since we left early in the morning. The only downside was the sheer number of flies in the Swiss mountains.

The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, overlooking the town of Grindelwald. Buses 123 run hourly, but if you miss the last bus at 7 PM, you'll have to take a taxi or walk 40 minutes back to the hotel. This is our return to this hotel after 10 years. The hotel is very well maintained, and the view from halfway up the mountain is beautiful. The only thing we didn't like was that there were too many flies.
