The room — Royal Suite with sea view — is beautiful! It was fantastic to have our own little outdoor area with a hot tub, and inside there is plenty of space and a large bathroom.
The hotel grounds themselves feel like a peaceful oasis on Chaweng Beach. There are lots of trees, and it’s very green and lush. The pool and beach areas are nice.
It may be unfair to compare, but we came straight from a similar hotel on Koh Phangan where everything truly deserved top marks from us. Compared to that, Muang Samui doesn’t quite reach the same level, even though there is not much to criticize about the hotel on Koh Samui either. The hotel is located right by the airport, which makes it easy to be woken up by aircraft noise if you are a light sleeper. In addition, many pigeons live on the roof above our room, and they also make noise from early morning. The doors between the bathroom and bedroom are not soundproof, so you should expect to be heard if the other person is indoors as well.
Small details like these kept it from getting a top score this time, but we want to emphasize that we had a very pleasant stay and felt very welcome.

Excellent experience, rooms are very spacious and well equipped. The hotel is literally on the beach, the pool is great. Breakfast is tasty and offers lots of choices. Staff is very professional and thoughtful. A stay that felt like home!

Very beautiful hotel offering excellent value for the quality and location.
The rooms are large, spacious, well exotically decorated and very comfortable, with clean interiors, many amenities and a very comfortable bed.
I had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the swimming pool and the beach, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
The location is excellent, with direct access to the famous Chaweng Beach, yet the hotel remains very quiet despite many shops and bars nearby.
The swimming pool is surrounded by lots of trees and green spaces, with plenty of benches and shaded areas, including spots on the beach.
During the day there can be children playing and yelling around the pool, but it’s not a big deal and doesn’t really affect the overall experience.
Breakfast is served on a beautiful terrace from 06:30 to 10:30, with a good variety of options.
The gym is small but well equipped and there are plenty of activities offered such as Thai language lessons and Thai cooking classes.
The staff are very friendly, welcoming and always eager to help, making the stay comfortable and relaxing overall.
A shuttle bus service from and to Samui Airport upon request, costing 300 baht as of December 2025, which is a useful option.
During my stay, there were some large groups of guests (from one specific "country") who were quite noisy and did not show much respect for other guests, which slightly affected the atmosphere at times.
Aside from this, everything went well and the overall experience was positive.

My wife and I were recently guests at our favourite beach hotel.
We have stayed at this wonderful place many many times and were disappointed to have stayed elswhere due to extensive renovations taking place.
However we were fortunate enough to take advantage of the upgraded facilities this time round.
We had a wonderful holiday and have to say the facilities are wonderful.
We had a small hiccup a few weeks before our arrival when it looked like our proffered room was going to be unavailable due to renovation but after discussions management made the extraordinary decision to delay the work so that we could enjoy our stay in our favourite poolside room.
Once again the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.
We had a great time and will be back again of course.

This accommodation was our last stop on Koh Samui, and at first, I was a bit worried because I don’t usually like dark interiors — which is how it looked in the photos.
But when we arrived and saw the place in person, I was completely surprised and amazed by how beautiful and pleasant it actually was.
We had a gorgeous room in Thai style, and a prepared bathtub was already waiting for us.
The staff were kind.
The only issue was the internet, but we experienced this problem throughout Thailand, so I recommend always having an eSIM with data. Since I needed to work, having no internet was a bit of a challenge.
The hotel has a perfect location — about 15 minutes from the airport, right in the heart of everything, and it also has a beautiful beach.
Breakfast was amazing.
We will definitely return, and we’re already looking forward to it!

The gilet is absolutely fabulous... The jacuzzi with flowers is prepared upon your arrival... The whole complex is so beautiful and just right in the beach.
The shops and restaurants are on the doorstep.
Hotel offers all services, but for the price of 5* hotel.
The restaurant offers great food and you can have your evening meal on the beach overlooking the see.
You cannot fault the service or hotel. Their own app gives you all the updates on any work or distribution during the day.
App can be uses for ordering anything or scheduling the cleaning service at the time that suits you. We travel aot, but this hotel over do everything we ever seen.

I went to this hotel with my mom - it was the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at!
The staff was kind and helpful, the room was absolutely gorgeous, very spacious and clean, the breakfast was delicious and had an unexpected variety of food including fresh fruits and veggies, but the highlight was obviously the beach and pool area. Even the path between the lobby and the pool/beach with its trees and plants was amazing, especially at night with the lights. If we come back to Thailand, we will definitely come back to Ko Samui at this hotel.
The only thing I would say is that as non-smokers, it was difficult to relax at the beach while people kept smoking right next to us. The smell made us leave the beach and the pool prematurely once or twice. I wish the beach and restaurant was smoke free.

A lovely resort located in the heart of Chaweng. The staff were polite and attentive. The room was comfortable and spacious with traditional Thai design. We had a great stay here but there are few things that could be improved, for examples, the options of breakfast were limited and not so various. Also the hotel front desk services could be better as one of the staff was not so enthusiastic and warmly when welcoming us - so our first impression was not that memorable upon our arrival, but other than that we enjoyed our experience here. :)

The hotel was probably once very nice. Now tired, mosquito infested and in need of renovation. Our room floor was newly painted with a very strong paint smell in the room. My wife had to sleep on the balcony because of this. Front desk didn't seem to care much. "We will tell the cleaning staff about this. So sorry sir". Not recommended. There are many more options on Chaweng and Koh Samui
