Hotel good, room decent size and clean. Floors in lobby and surrounds need cleaning. Table in Talay had dirty ashtray and rubbish for hours nobody came to clean. Steps in pool very slippery. Food was average two nights it was cold. Hotel is too far away from other restaurants. Breakfast was plenty of variety.

This hotel is nestled in the mountains, so while it's not the most convenient to get to, it offers a peaceful retreat. The staff are great, and the overall facilities are good. I highly recommend the Pad Thai at the Talay restaurant in the lobby – it was the best I had on this trip out of three different places! The sea view from the room is beautiful. My only minor complaints are that the AC can only be turned on or off, with no temperature control, which is a bit inconvenient as it gets too cold when on and too warm when off. Also, there's a slight issue with the shower's temperature control; it's almost impossible to find a middle ground between scorching hot and freezing cold, so I ended up having to angle the showerhead as high as it would go.

The dining experience was a major highlight. The buffet was superb, offering a wide variety of freshly prepared, high-quality dishes for every meal. Everything was incredibly clean, and the food itself was delicious—a real step up from typical hotel fare.
Finally, the service was impeccable. Every staff member we encountered was attentive, professional, and genuinely seemed to care about our comfort. Whether we needed assistance in the lobby or a quick refill at the restaurant, the team handled every request promptly and with a smile.
If you are looking for a clean, modern, and great-value stay that doesn't compromise on food quality or service, you won't be disappointed here!

Everything was amazing! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they really made sure our stay was memorable. A big thank you to Afan and the entire team for the wonderful hospitality. We were genuinely impressed with everyone from the gardener to all the team members who took such good care of us. We’ll definitely come back in the future and recommend this hotel to our friends and family!

Great view from hotel as we picked sea view. Though it’s not directly sea view because swimming area and street is in between but still calm and amazing view. Breakfast had many varieties buy being pure veg we explored only some of those.
Swimming pool and child play room is also good. Only issue is location is a bit far from patong and other main areas but good if you want quiet place. Also there is complimentary shuttle service for kamala beach.

Nice place to stay in also there is room if you feeling bored you can enjoy and play billiards

The hotel was partially under renovation when we were here. With the exception of them putting up fixtures (I assume) in the room next to us there was not a lot of noise at all.
They did a great job minimizing the impact to their guests. For a day and a half there was no working elevator at the room, a new one was being installed, all glass, very nice! To be honest this was the last leg of our 3 week vacation and I probably needed the steps anyway, ha ha.
Everyone was very helpful and accommodating. This was a great way to end our trip for sure. We didn’t spend much time at the beach. That’s one thing I wish I looked into a little more. The beach is not attached to the resort, it is off premise and they have a shuttle to take you to and from at specific times of the day. You have to sign up as they only take 10 people at a time. We chose this resort looking thru the pictures and it looked like the bar pool was right on top of the ocean! Ya they need to update that picture for sure. I attached one from the same angle for reference.
But overall the staff was friendly. Pae at the pool bar was awesome!
And so many others as well.
Food was excellent, and the location was an easy 200 Baht ($6-$7) to almost any restaurant or local hang out.

***Note!! Use the BOLT app for taxis. We never had an issue, no scams, it’s basically their uber. Even the resorts and hotels will tell you to use BOLT. Apparently the actual licensed taxi companies are basically owned by a mafia that just screws everyone. Locals never use them. The taxi from the airport was 650 Baht. Once I learned and set up the BOLT app it was 400 Baht getting back to the airport. Much cheaper, better and less of a headache.
