Horizon Patong Beach Resort & Spa in Patong

This is listed as a 3star hotel but wouldn't take much to get to 4star! The place is clean and tidy the staff are amazingly lovely and helpful. Some of the paths are a bit uneven as well. The room had everything we needed TV air con etc, the down side of the room was the bed,it was incredibly hard. I asked for something softer which they put 5quilts on the bed underneath the sheets. This helped but the bed essentially stayed really hàrd. The swimming pools are immaculate, I've been to dozens of resorts but have never seen such crystal clear swimming water that doesn't feel or smell of strong chemicals. The other aspect of this hotel is the proximity of the beach and central Patong is on the doorstep,within walking distance. But the resort is so quiet once you are within the resort! Breakfast is wonderful with plenty of coffee. Concierges are really helpful. If you don't like going out the main entrance, to be bombarded with sales of massage there is a back entrance to the side of the restaurant where you can exit onto the beach road. Very nice hotel, center of Patong near beach, super clean and nice rooms and service minted staff.. Swimming pool just outside the doors ;-)

Very close to the beach. A beautiful and quiet resort. Best location to relax and spend your holiday.

Friendly staff. Good breakfast buffet. Nice pool. Excellent location, as it's close to beach, jungcelyon, otop markets and other shopping, nightlife, but far enough away from nightlife to not be kept awake, if you're sleeping.

A little dated now and some extra attention to the maintenance wouldn't go astray.
Scored an excellent deal on price, so no issues, however if I paid full price, I would be upset with the upkeep of the place.

Would only have scored 2.5 stars if it was full price, however, as it was less than half price for our room, it gets four stars.

It is clean, in room and around the entire hotel, but a coat of paint and some general love outside would do the place wonders.

Hasn't had much done to the external of the buildings, since staying here 15 years ago.

Great location, rooms, service and amenities. Very convenient to walk to numerous activities and restaurants nearby. Right at the beach. Highly recommended.

Really good location and nice communal areas and pool. Room was a little dated, but very clean. Great room service and cocktails!. Would stay again.

We all liked it. The staff is polite. The rooms are cleaned well. The Breakfast is varied. Even for vegetarians a selection. Every morning at Breakfast we were asked if everything was okay. In General, don't regret staying there.

I liked everything, Parking, Breakfast not taken. To settle permanently next to the pool is not recommended, since the morning merry girlish laughter.

Slippers and Bathrobe in the room there, the rest is all available.

Location of hotel is good, although the staff... Why?
