Break Point Patong Hotel in Patong

My review is on the hotel: This is a budget hotel and it has the feeling of one compare to another hotel. Now the service staff was nice but the 2 star is mainly because there is no front desk as they are also working the restaurant. The saving grace here is the location. You can walk to Patong beach right away. 2.5 stars overall

This is a terrible hotel that I wouldn't recommend anyone stay at. Reasons:
1. The hotel and room photos on the website don't reflect reality. The room looks spacious and clean in the photo, but in reality, it's a small room with old furniture, dirty, broken plumbing, and noise.
2. Upon arrival, the hotel floor was dirty, with clumps of dust.
3. One of the towels had a large yellow stain; I had to go and change it myself.
4. The springy mattress and washed-out, yellowish-white bedding made the bed creak.
5. The bathroom smells of mold and old pipes. The toilet hose is leaking, and water collects in a huge puddle right in the middle of the bathroom, making the floor very slippery and dangerous.
6. The refrigerator is dirty, with frozen, spilled beer and trash containing bits of old food.
7. Instead of a proper window and a view of the balcony, there's just a solid door. The air conditioner hangs right above the bed.
8. I booked a 7-night stay at this hotel. After the first night, I noticed a noise in the room, a constant humming sound similar to vibrations from the equipment operating below. I contacted the hotel in the morning to check out, but the management refused to refund me for 6 nights. I had to stay there.
9. On the fourth day, the air conditioner in my room broke. Meanwhile, the hotel categorically refused to refund me for the remaining 4 nights. Instead, they asked me to pack my bags for one night and move to another room, and then pack my bags again the next day and return to my previous room. This basically disrupts my vacation and ruins my plans. The hotel has problems, and guests are being checked into worse conditions than they booked on the website. This hotel prioritizes profiteering and deceiving guests over its reputation. I believe the hotel is obligated to refund the guest for unused nights in this case.
However, the hotel offered me no apologies for the inconvenience, and I received absolutely no compensation for my overall ruined stay.
This hotel deceives guests and misleads them with false photos. If a guest requests a refund, as this is clearly not what they paid for, the hotel is obligated to refund the money, not engage in fraud. It's completely unclear why this hotel even charges a 1,000 baht deposit. I had to check out. I would not recommend anyone staying here.
