Very good for a 3 star hotel with friendly, helpful and efficient staff.
The single room I booked was modern and clean, with everything in good condition. It was a little small, but that was expected, and it was as advertised. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning powerful and effective. The bathroom was clean and well fitted-out, with a big rainfall shower. Breakfast, which was included in my rate, was a nice buffet with a few hot dishes available.

Great place! In Izmir for work for 2 week and stayed all the way through. Lovely staff. Great location. Good rooms. All great! Especially Sehsuvar Caglar. So kind and accomodating.

Fair place to stay. The room was a bit small for the main bed. Super clean and very well located. Though some of the breakfast staff was not up the position. Still an interesting choice in Izmir as the Alsancak neighbourhood is quite vibrant.

I had a wonderful stay at HAY Hotel Alsancak. The location is perfect—close to everything. The rooms were clean, modern, and very comfortable. What truly made my experience exceptional was the warm and professional service at the reception. I want to give a special thank you to SEHSUVAR ÇAĞLAR, who was incredibly kind, helpful, and always greeted me with a smile. He went above and beyond to make sure I felt welcome and had everything I needed. Highly recommended—I would definitely stay here again!

Very good overall. The staff was very polite and helpful. They provided us with sheltered parking space for bicycles. The room was clean and cozy. Nice bathroom. We tried local cuisine on breakfast, and there were plenty of local dishes. All we tried were very tasty. Location of the hotel is very good as well, because it's right on the central walking street and 100 meters away from the sea and the cycling path. The hotel does not have car parking, but there are at least 3 parkings within a walking distance. A little bit expensive but it's good overall.

We had a very good experience in Hay Hotel. The reception and staff very welcoming, kind and friendly. Rooms are very clean, comfortable and air conditioner works perfectly which is especially important in hot summer days in Izmir. Breakfast was also good with variety of choices

The rooms are smaller than you would think, the staff are very helpful for the most part and the location is great. The management is very poor and will rip you off any chance they get. We did two rounds of laundry (about one American sized load) and the bill was $163.00 (USD)!! I thought it was a mistake so I asked and it was not a mistake. They told me it was my fault that I didn’t see the price sheet in the room, which was placed in a closet and had fallen to where we couldn’t see it.
I have never paid that much for laundry anywhere in the world. We switched hotels and stayed down the road and I did MORE laundry and it only cost me $30. Both places outsourced their laundry.
The management wouldn’t speak to me directly at this hotel and even the staff was frustrated by how the manager handled it.
RENTER BEWARE! Make sure you ask if there is a price on anything before you use it.
Whoever made the decisions should be ashamed of themselves and is a VERY dishonorable person.
