I have stayed at Hali Hotel and had no hesitation in staying there again recently. The location is good being narthex tram line and major sights such as the Blue Mosque. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast reasonable.

I was staying at another hotel before transferring to Hali. Not only was the location excellent i.e. near historical sites and safe but the staff were very helpful ecspecially Baci, I felt a warm energy from the environment. I instantly felt at home. I would definitely come back here.

The hotel is just a quick walk near to Istiklal street (THE happening place). The rooms were crisp clean and covered more the average facilities that you’d find anywhere else. Travelers beware: Elephant offers affordable rooms close to Galata. The rooms are not super comfortable but okay to stay if you don’t expect too much. The street is going through renovation so it appears to be a bit scary at first, but no real threat.
