Port Side Resort Hotel in Side

We are very satisfied with the whole hotel. Everyone was very nice. the staff speaks German rather well, but we only know English. Despite this, they did everything they could to communicate with us. The food and the programs were also very varied. the parties were until 11 pm, which was very comfortable for families to relax. The beach is 3-4 minutes walk from the hotel and clean!

Great clean hotel consistent with the descriptions and standards of five-star hotels, very good fresh and varied food for everyone, great hotel service. The only minus is the attitude to the customer in German, in English you can talk. Despite highly recommend.

Good points:
* Good swimming pool with a bar and some snacks. Some food or sweet is available at the pool even outside the meals times.

* Very clean.

* Private beach with lots of sun beds a bar and restaurant. The restaurant offer the lunch and stay later than the hotel restaurant.

* Good variety of drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic)

* Internet is not the fastest but it’s available everywhere… in the lobby, pool, room and beach.

* People who work there are very kind and want to help.

* The hotel provides a PCR test for €17 per person when you go back. You do the test at the hotel itself and get the result the next day.

* Our flight back was at night so we asked if we can check out after 12:00 (the regular check out time). They allowed us to stay very late which I really appreciate it.

Could be better:
* The resort is made for German and Turkish people. All the kids animations, night shows … etc are in German and Turkish. Most of the waiters speak only Turkish and German (not English). Maybe it’s not a good idea to provide the resort on the Dutch websites.

* Every time that you need to change the pool tools you need to go to the spa place, and every time they try to sell you their services. It’s nice to show their service the first time, but it’s annoying when they push you to buy it every time.

* There are many shops, cafes, restaurants.. etc in the area but the hotel is not close to Side central.

* The animation guy asked the young people to go to a specific night club and he will arrange the transfer and we pay him. When we were in the bus, he changed the destination so we went to a different club. He also promised to get a cocktail in the price but we got a small shot. The drinks were extremely expensive (much higher than here). We enjoyed the night, but I would expect this behavior from someone outside the hotel.

We stayed 10 days in this hotel. First time in Turkey and thanks to them we would like to visit again. From reception to cleaning service, waiters, and especially animations team, every single one of them were very friendly and there for you. For those looking to party, I would not suggest this hotel since it seems to be more family oriented, but if you want to party there are a lot of clubs nearby and even hotel offers once a week a trip to disco fro 15€ with one drink inclusive. Animations team deserve a special praise, they are very fun group, especially Romeo who was amazing with kids, they all loved him so much, Melo, their boss was also very friendly and outgoing, there are plenty of sport activities for you to try, from beach volleyball, boccia, table tennis, table football, water polo, aqua gym, darts, and animation team is always open for suggestions and willing to play with you. Room service is spotless, they even made a crocodile from towels one day for us which was kinda nice. Food was amazing, there is literally no way anyone can be hungry there. Almost every 2 hours there is something, in snack bar, at pool, beach, you name it. Waiting staff is mostly good, some of them are bit slower, but in general very good. There is also a spa center, which was a little bit too expensive for our taste, so I suggest trying one of the other options for hamam and massage, they are much cheaper (you can literally get same treatment for 3x cheaper price in town). Gym is small, but you can get all the basic exercises to keep you in shape during holiday, which is more than enough. Although not one of the bigger hotels in the area, I would definitely chose to come again.

Very beutiful place to spend the vacation with Kids! everyone is acting very friendly. Cleaning service is perfect. The kitchen and Food are just awesome. 😊😋 i recommend this place very much. and i'd LOVE to come back again.
