London, 1 Baffin Way off Preston Road (8 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The location was convenient and check-in was quick and straightforward. Staff were polite and helpful, which I appreciated.
The room itself was clean on the surface and had the basic amenities you’d expect for a budget stay. However, there was a noticeable damp/musty smell in the room when I first entered. It didn’t seem to come from anything visible, but it did make the space feel less fresh than...
4th floor Room smelt of drains especially after running the tap or flushing.
Reception also smelt of drains.
My white shirt was ruined from the Iron in the ironing room found in floor 2. It spat out black dirty water and grime that has dyed the shirt.
Our room had cobwebs dangling from the celling blood on the curtains and crack in the floor of the shower the toilet seat was also stained / discoloured. Breakfast the plates where tiny no toast for £140 it wasn’t worth the money
It is an okay hotel for couple of days. You just need to be careful about dinner time because they dont have an open kitchen in the evening and there is only one restaurant nearby.
I emailed 48 good before asking for early check in bit didnt get it which was disappointing.
More tea and milks in the room would be good.
Nice breakfast options, hot and cold plus teas/coffees
The room is small, suitable for one or two people, but a bit cramped with children.

The room cleanliness was really subpar; I hope they can improve it.
The hotel is very conveniently located, close to Victoria Underground and train stations, and within walking distance of Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey. The hotel's buffet breakfast is excellent, with a wide variety of choices 👍
Gorgeous hotel spotless and nice size rooms breakfast was delicious and loads of options would definitely recommend and would stay there again
Easily walkable from Victoria station. Front desk staff was so friendly and helpful, allowing us to leave our bags in our room, even though it wasn't ready yet. Person who guided us to the room was also very kind. Room was clean, shower had good pressure, beds were comfortable. Would stay again!
Hotel is well located near the train station and amenities. However, there was a lot of noise at night coming from the inner courtyard where the heat pump fans are located.
Good location, very close to Victoria Station, and there are many shops in the area. Our room was in an annex building in the basement, and it was tiny. The worst part was the sewer smell we had to endure for all four nights of our stay. I expected something much better from a Best Western hotel. Poor value for money.

It was clean and good but was little cold and small room
The room was very basic, with no desk and only two hangers. The shower pressure was low, and the room temperature was cold at night, making it chilly to sleep. The bed was 1.5m, and the duvet was small, not quite big enough for two people as it left us feeling a bit exposed to the cold.
Good location, near the train station. It's close to the river which is very nice.
That’s pretty nice of its location, however the plugs are not working for the first few days. But they did try to solve the issue asap, no bad for the efficiency.
Value for money if you just need a simple and clean hotel room to stay. Location is in centre of London and hard to beat its low cost.
Bathroom had black spot mould growth, reaction upon entry sore throat and coughing. Reported, new room not given, clean offered. A clean wouldn't have resolved, not an issue of house keeping, this is a result of profit margins first and not customer 'no maintenance or refurb etc'. For a hotel in central London and a room for a disabled guest this is a disgrace. Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou whats happening

Great location & perfect size as a solo traveller who needed a room for one night. Friendly receptionists and the room was super clean. Would stay again

Friendly staff, easy to reach. Only few minutes walk to the theatre. Highly recommended!
Everyone is great except that the room is too small and it was too noisy next to busy street.
I found this place just by pure luck when there was a Tfl strike and me and my partner were looking for a temporary place to stay as he was visiting.
This hotel is in an amazing location if you want to be close to Soho and central London. It looks so small from outside but quite a big one, has an amazing restaurant.

Our stay was fantastic. The location is perfect for getting around central London, with everything right at your doorstep. However, what truly made the difference was the service we received. We would like to give a special mention to Raluca, who looked after us during dinner; she was lovely and treated us wonderfully, making the evening very special. A 10/10 for her and the hotel!
Razuca in the breakfast hall was very helpful and cheerful. She helped me with a query we had about our luggage and we were very happy with the service we received.
Excellent location. Lovely clean room with a large comfy bed! Good value for London. Very clean and not noisy at all. Breakfast was great (we had one continental and one full cooked). Staff were excellent - extremely pleasant and very helpful. Would recommend.
Perfect - Raluca checked us in and got us in our room early which was a great help. We requested extra towels and they were in our room when we got back after a busy day out. She was also there when we left and made sure everything was ok. The room was lovely and clean and spacious. We didn’t eat in the restaurant so can’t comment on the food. We bumped into a housekeeper team member who wished us...
Location was excellent. Right in the middle of everything with China town just a stones throw away. Lovely staff especially Raluca on reception and at breakfast. She deserves 5 stars alone. She couldn't do enough for everyone. We had an upgrade to a Premier inn plus room which was spotless but had the worst view ever. However we only slept here so it didn't make a difference to us as we were out...
Stayed for a show at the London Palladium, great central location, fantastic beds and perfect blackout for sleeping, but you pay a lot for that. Room fairly spacious but it’s always the bathrooms that need replacing. Breakfast was delicious. Ashan is a great manager ever present but not in your face. Nazeera was also friendly and helpful on checkout.

The location is easy to find it’s just 7 mins walk from Canning Town station. There are two big supermarkets close to the station and one express shop opposite to the hotel. We only stayed 1 day. Given the price we paid we are pleased with its convenient location and free breakfast for 3 of us. The air conditioner is very dry which my kid complained about it. Other than that i would recommend family...
Lovely hotel, close to the tube. Great for access to O2. Comfy beds & free breakfast 😋
Good array of breakfast items at restaurant.
Towels are changed everyday.
Great receptionists.
Very impressed with this hotel! About a 4 minute walk from the tube station, on a main street that feels very safe. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were well-equipped and clean, with everything you need for a short stay, including iron/ironing board hairdryer etc. The breakfast has a lot to choose from, with cooked and continental options and a pancake machine. A value for money hotel in convenient location, close to tube station. The room is clean and the bed is very comfortable. Popular among tourists and families. The breakfast was very crowded because the rooms were sold out the night before.
Lovely room and easy walk to the tube and 10 minutes from excel. Only slight annoyance was they tried to charge me £40 more when I got there and made out they were trying to do me a favour by honouring the price I was given before, which I had evidence of

While the hotel might need some upgrades to their wi-fi, we enjoyed our stay. The staff, in particular, Adrian, was exceptional. We needed ice daily(!) and he made it happen. Everyone else, from the other reception folks, to the kitchen to the cleaning staff made our stay lovely. There is currently loud construction (NOT the hotel’s fault) but we were gone during the day so it didn’t really impact...
Stayed here several times now and always a great experience. Staff always helpful, room is clean and considering the location its always nice and quiet. I will be up to London again soon and wont stay anywhere else for my flying visits
Great location right next to Borough Market and the Thames. This being said, the room was very quiet and extremely comfortable - especially the bed! The staff were lovely and we had one of the best breakfasts in such a long time! We'll definitely be back.
Excellent, comfortable stay. Great location for us. Breakfast had super choices. Friendly helpful staff. Room comfortable and exactly what we would expect from a Premier inn
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My teenage daughter and I had a superb stay at Southbank Premier Inn. The rooms were clean and comfy, quiet at night and blackout curtains kept it cosy for sleeping. The staff were very friendly, upbeat and kind and the Manager is a very inspiring and lovely woman. This hotel is in a great location with plenty of breakfast and lunch/dinner in closing walking distance. The paddington train station is very close by and is a big and well-connected station, as well as having several bus stations nearby to the hotel. My room was clean and the staff was so nice. My only complaint is that, while I knew my room had a separate bathroom, I assumed it would at least be...
It is a bit more like a hostel than hotel, but the location is great, the hotel is clean, the rooms are very small but fine (I got a single room with a private bathroom). I would do it again as a solo traveler. Also, I come to London to spend my time outside of the hotel room; however, I did have work and had to make calls/Zoom: video worked perfectly for all my calls. No lag, no delay. It's a good...
Cheap and very cheerful. Clean rooms but no bathroom. Only a wash basin. The bathrooms are shared and mine was on the next floor up. Doors secured by Yale key entry only but 24 hour front desk does provide some security. Quiet location and most amenities including Paddington Station are within 3 minutes walk.
I would highly recommend if you are on a budget and don't mind having to share bathroom facilities
Absolutely loved this hotel! It's super close to all the attractions, making getting around a breeze. My room had great natural light and even a nice view of the street. The staff were incredibly friendly and thoughtful, proactively recommending local dishes and sightseeing routes. The cleanliness was top-notch, with even the smallest details taken care of. Great, convenient location! The rooms are clean, stylish, and very comfortable—loved the 100% cotton linens. The staff were cheerful and helpful, making a last-minute booking easy and even offering to store our luggage before check-in, which was really handy. You can hear the tube rumbling below, but it’s very subtle and didn’t bother my sleep.
Cozy hotel in Paddington! Amazing location walkable to the centre but also a big station wirh trains, metros and busses! Our room was on the 4th floor (NO ELEVATOR). Narrow but fine. The room is not very big but everything you need is inside. The beds are also very comfortable. Nice
Surprisingly nice, super easy checkin using email sent, everything worked, and was clean with a good bed, solin functioning shower, kettle, and quiet.
This is a bog standard budget hotel. The check in was easy and the bed was comfortable but unfortunately there was only tea, no coffee, in the hotel room. Also the bathroom was unclean which was unfortunate.
Great location. Room was clean and had everything we needed. The hotel itself is a little dated and could do with a spruce up!
Please - nobody book this hotel.
There is a £100 deposit to pay, as well as the amount for the room, and the pre-authorisation card charge (for the same amount as your room). Mention of the deposit will be a complete surprise to you (you may not even find out until you contact customer service about the next bit)...well hopefully not if you see this.
There is nobody to help you with payment once...

The large room was clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was great and the shower nice and large. The staff I encountered were all excellent and very accommodating especially at check in. I did not eat there
Lovely staff and decor, but room and bathroom were TINY and pretty uncomfortable for two people to try and stay in. Extremely noisy street outside - were woken at 5am by 2 hours of barrels being loaded into a nearby pub. No room to put a suitcase or even a kettle and pantry provisions were a bit disappointing
lift was broken but really not a drama, staff where ever friendly coffee shop and cocktails brilliant
As every other review mentioned: the rooms are TINY but you’re not booking this place for the room - you’re booking it because it’s in a fantastic location. You cannot beat the convenience, walkability, proximity to transportation hubs, restaurants, bars, attractions, etc.
plus the property makes up for the size in other great ways: they have a cold water bottle filling station, the body products...
Check in was underwhelming by having to self serve ourselves, the reception area was unclear and difficult to find as it turned out to be people that looked like they were hot-desking. We were able to check in early, which was a bonus.
However the room was small! It was labelled a medium but it was small for two adults and limited room to walk around one side of the bed.
Good breakfast, however...
There is no proper reception counter, only 1 staff stationed at the lobby on his/her laptop. Had to fill up a couple of information online prior to check in. They were really kind in allowing us to check in early before 3pm as our room was ready. Service was okay, staff were helpful but not overly friendly as most reviews have indicated. A short stay at this north London hotel was far above expectations. Situated relatively close to a busy London road, I was concerned it might be noisy but, in its quiet and leafy little corner of a side street, it was indeed very peaceful. An extremely clean, well-maintained and comfortable room was provided and the staff were welcoming and went out of their way to be very helpful. So, thank you...
We stayed here for 3 nights. All the staff were friendly, helpful in giving us directions. The room was cosy, but we dont need anything bigger as only 2 of us. Everywhere clean and tidy. The ladies in the breakfast room were attentive and kept cleaning and making sure the food etc was fresh.
The place had a warm welcome atmosphere. Room clean warm and comfortable. Bathroom extremely small but fitted a bath which I wanted couldn't stretch legs out though and I'm only 5"2. Not sure it's worth £100 a night but when you add everything you get and a good breakfast, location; I'll be back!
