For this price in my home country, I could stay in a luxurious, high-end hotel. But in London, you shouldn't have such high expectations. The value for money isn't great, but then again, you can't be too demanding when you're abroad.

The location is great as it is right on Liverpool street tube and rail station. Room design is trying to be chic modern but the fixtures are starting to look worn out. The room I had looked inside the courtyard and was dark. And the shower floor was very slippery so had to be careful. With the price don’t think i will stay here again. Had a fantastic stay at Andaz, facilties were great, very lovely and helpful staff. Breakfast time was a bit chaotic- waitress took coffee order and forgot, then asked another member of staff, they too forgot, finally asked again and after almost 20 mins coffee got delivered, however wrong order. Took over 10 mins for eggs to be served at table.

Unfortunately our room’s window was completely taped under the construction and 2 out 3 lifts were out of service… Location is good and room is cozy enough. Bed is slightly smaller for two people though.

The room was in the basement with no windows. The rooms advertised online were showed windows. This meant the room was extremely stiff and warm. We found a cockroach in the bathroom which we reported to staff, no gesture was offered, only a quick apology. The location was great, however.

Had a wonderful stay at Canopy. The room was very clean. Bed was soft and comfy. I really like how you could hang your coats and jackets on the open rack, once you entered the room. The location is fantastic! The hotel is right outside Algate station, making it super convenient for getting around by tube. While the stay was pleasant overall, the half-board experience was not satisfactory. The dinner options were very limited for vegetarians, and the absence of included drinks was surprising, as this has not been my experience with previous half-board bookings.

If you are looking for a quiet location away from the tourist attractions and shopping, then this hotel fits the bill. The hotel is unable to keep your big luggage for a couple of days even though you are coming back to stay after a trip beyond London.

Checking in for the first time , found out that cleaning staff left the cleaning towel in the bathroom and paper in the toilet. Reported to the receptionist, and their manager provided solutions immediately, which makes me feel welcome and better. Great location!
