Unfortunately we arrived extremely late to check in 1.30am due to our flight delay and found the service to be very good, the room was clean and tidy but on the small side we did not eat there as all we wanted was our bed.

Truly blessed to have stayed here, especially after some unexpected incidents. We were able to enjoy some great offer rates at nearby restaurants. My partner felt secure throughout our stay. Plus, the location is super convenient, accessible to many places 😊

Staff was kind and courteous and the room, though small, existed as described and was a fine and relatively enjoyable stay with good adjustable air conditioning and a comfortable bed, an adequate shower and bathroom.

The Clayton Hotel City of London is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a stylish and comfortable base in the city. The hotel’s location near Aldgate East is incredibly convenient, offering easy access to the Underground while being just a short stroll from the vibrant energy of Shoreditch and Spitalfields.

The hotel's location in the City of London is great, but the cleanliness was off-putting. There were stains on the faucet and the bathroom floor.

We had a fantastic experience in this hotel, spacious and clean room, comfortable bed, spacious shower room as well, very easy to check in and check out.

Fab location just opposite tube station. Staff were excellent, very helpful. Nice touches in room, having a recycling bin and complimentary snacks and drinks. Amazing hotel for afternoon tea. Had an old friend from the USA come to visit and we started at Parliament Square, walked through St James Park to Buckingham Palace and then to the Goring Hotel for afternoon tea. It was really nice, right when we walked in the restaurant the Hostess Sofia was so sweet and she definitely deserves a raise. Overall the service and food were wonderful would definitely recommend and meet Sofia if you want top service.

What can I say...we had our wedding at the Goring 3 weeks ago. Absolutely outstanding in every way. Staff amazing, rooms fantastic, service incredible, decor perfect, food delicious. We stayed here a few years ago now, (just a month before the first Covid lockdown) and remember it being a pleasant stay with a large room with everything we needed, decent dining facilities and friendly customer service. Great location within short walking distance of Shepherds Bush tube station, and handy to Westfields and TV Centre.

Stayed here in 2021 in the suite (I edited errors in my review so says Sept 2024) . Lovely, spacious room with a lovely interior design. Overall very comfortable room choice. However, the room is not in its best standard. We have been staying at this hotel at each visit in London since 2002 and every time I felt like I was coming home. Great staff and breakfast never let me down. I love the spacious gym and lots of machines to do your workout with. Rooms are great and modern. I truly recommend it.

Loved my stay! Stayed the night with the Spa time package. Room was spacious, only slight problem was the TV started glitching after 11pm. The food in the evening and breakfast was cooked to perfection. The spa was relaxing and also had the scrub and massage by Julia. She was lovely, professional and great technique! Would definitely go again!

It was a great spa, the first I've been to in months, and I had everything I needed. The snow room was fantastic, and the snow was actually really clean. The steam room and sauna were fantastic, and the pool had plenty of chlorine, but just enough for what you need in an hour.

Definitely The Hoxton is one of my favourite and coolest hotels in London!!! The hotel is so chic, very convenient to access most of the spots in Shoreditch. The hotel and lounge area is absolutely stunning. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I would love to stay in the hotel again for my next travel in London. Strongly recommend it :)

We stayed here after our wedding over the road at Camden Town Hall. Staff were wonderful, they made up our room with a decorations and a gift, and the breakfast was delicious. Thoroughly recommend.

The staff at this hotel were without exception, superb. Helpful, accommodating and friendly in all the departments. Came to London for a last-minute business trip with a friend. The room was quite new and a decent size, but the soundproofing was a bit poor.

The room was very spacious, clean, and well-decorated, and the bathroom was also excellent. It was a very comfortable stay. The only drawback is that it's a bit far from the city center, and the supermarket is a seven-minute walk away. It's a quiet area with fewer people around.

The room didn't have a heater, and you'll need to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, and slippers as the hotel doesn't provide them. The restaurant on the first floor served pretty tasty food. Housekeeping was also very diligent, changing the soap daily.

This hotel stay made us feel incredibly welcome. From the moment we checked in, the staff's attentiveness and warmth were exceptional. Lovely hotel, decent location, about 0.5 miles from London Bridge station, with lots of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. Room size was reasonable, lovely comfortable bed, only complaint was that it was a little difficult to regulate the heat and the room kept getting too hot. Staff were extremely helpful, I can forgive the very slow lift!!

The room was tiny and quite dim. It's supposedly a family-run hotel, but the location was hard to find. The staff were pretty cold and didn't smile once. There's a high step at the hotel entrance, which made carrying luggage incredibly inconvenient. Breakfast options were also limited.
