Staffs are very nice, friendly and very helpful There are complimentary drinks available during the morning.

Room was decent, but the beds were awful. They are very stiff and they sound like an air mattress every time you move. There was also a lot of light coming in from the street, it would have been great to have blackout curtains on the window. Room is clean. It is 2 bed Rooms and big, but no breakfast, only has coffee and tea in the morning! Cross the street hotel is a bus and trolley stop, easy to go to Lincoln road shopping area and beach!

It is located near Miami South Beach and is very convenient to public transportation. The hotel room was spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped, so it was convenient. There was also a microwave, so it was nice to have a quick breakfast.

Overall pretty decent hotel in a great location. For the price, you get what you pay for, the room was in decent condition. The entrance definitely should be more visible as it was hard to find the place… Parking was not ideal as they suggest you park in a paid parking lot $40 a day that’s a 6 min walk from the actual hotel. Good location. Provides baggage keeping services. Free coffee 8am-12pm. 5-10mins walk distance have CVS, restaurants and coffee shops. 10mins walk distance to the beach side/ Lincoln Rd. The Room condition was old. Room floor was not really clean. My room is double bed room, it’s no table and chair. There is no plug location, so I need to move the bed to find the charging location.

Well-located hotel, reasonably clean, but dated and sparse. Welcome drinks were in a can from the front desk, not the bar. Rooms were functional, but strange layout of the bathroom. It served the purpose for my 1-night layover, but that’s it.

A long way to go to get to luxury. Rooms need updating and are small. There is a washer which served as a dryer and does not work. Housekeeping needs major training and the tv in the living room did not work despite our calls to the front desk. Too far away from the beach more of residential neighborhood. Stay one night and see for yourself before booking multiple nights.

Really impressed with ABAE Hotel. The staff were great — friendly, professional, and on point. The room had everything you could want: dishwasher, fridge, washer, and microwave — way more than expected. Perfect location too, close to top restaurants and easy to get anywhere with a quick Uber. It was an absolute delight to stay there. Everything was just perfect. We had a delayed flight and things were going wrong that day. The hotel opened in 2014 is right next to the beach. It is said that the open-air restaurant downstairs is still very famous. I would like to praise Ctrip's service. If there are any minor problems, they can be solved quickly at any time. Five-star praise. Friends, please remember to prepare toothpaste, slippers, and other toiletries. Have reviewed over 300 hotels all over the world so I am pretty particular and are not easily wowed. We travelled most of the year in hotels on Europe, USA, and Caribbean. I do not recommend this hotel for many reasons. 1. Some days no hot water, half the time 5 minute wait to get warm water, but never gets really hot. 2. $40 resort fee added to your bill. They said that covered WIFI and bicycles...

The room had no black out curtains and a dirty floor.. the light pollution was pretty bad. If you like a dark room, probably not the place for you. You also may need more pillows, only 2 per bed. Staff was very nice though, and the location is fun.

The rooms were clean and the staff very courteous. However, our room door was not latched when we entered the first time and after the room was cleaned the second day. The staff needs to make sure the door is closed before leaving.

really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff was polite and professional, and the room was cleaned every single day. Everything in the room felt new and spotless — they even vacuumed daily. The room had a fridge and a TV, and besides the air conditioner, there was also a ceiling fan, which kept the temperature cool and comfortable at all times. Definitely deserves 5 stars!

Excellent hotel and excellent location, but they take a deposit from you and do not return the deposit, so be careful. It has been 15 days since my deposit was returned to me. I contacted them and they said that I returned the deposit and the problem is with the bank. I called the bank and the bank said that nothing was received, so be careful of them. They do not return the deposit.

Very good, but it is a bit troublesome to check in by yourself. The bar and restaurant downstairs are lively until the early morning. Maybe it is due to the location of the room, the noise here in Building 7 is not loud

The environment is good, not as noisy as others say, probably because the room is not directly above someone else's shop. The room is also quite large. It's the first time I've stayed in such a fully self-service hotel.

MOST UNDERRATED MIAMI HOTEL! The people who work here are the absolute best. We were there during Christmas and it was a great experience from start to finish. The check in was smooth and they were accommodating of an early check-in. We had a great experience at the Marlin. The room was nice and clean, and the restaurant had tasty food and friendly staff. The only con was the mandatory $35 per night fee to use beach towels and other benefits that we didn't use.

A lovely art deco hotel in a great location for those in Miami Beach for the winter art fairs. Friendly staff that welcomes you back by name each evening.

Most of the 5 stars I gave belong to staffs, they impressed you since you not even there, they email you and asked to help you get the parking ready so no headache since day 1. Stress less vacation truly.

The location is convenient, restaurants and bars are within walking distance, you can get to the center by taxi for 10 dollars. The beach is a 10-minute walk away. My room overlooked the main road, it was noisy at times. The hotel has a delicious breakfast and coffee for an additional fee (about 15 dollars). There is a lot of greenery on the hotel grounds and around the hotel.

Great location! However I was not impressed with the service. My room wasn’t cleaned for 3 days despite requesting it in the system. I asked for the manager but he/she never contacted me. Hotel has so much potential but the service needs to improve drastically

The Meridian Hotel is very well located, impeccably clean, with lots of vegetation. It has a nice chill-out room and a decorative swimming pool. That said, it is a little overpriced. The staff at the front desk could be friendlier.

Super cute room and a great location! The hotel is a boutique hotel, updated from original 1939 build. Solid oak wood floors, cute wallpaper and decor, with a view of the sand and ocean just a short block away. Restaurant and bar downstairs with happy hour from 3 to 6 every day. Just a couple minutes walk to the Miami Beach Boardwalk, and sand and water. Perfect location for a great price.

The beach was one street further, but easily accessible. The hotel is very well located and very friendly. The room was nice. A slight problem was the shower that had a very low pressure, and the soap was difficult to reach--the hotel may want to fix this.

Everything was great! However, I booked an ocean view room and there was the tiniest sliver of ocean from the window. My recommendation is to not spend the extra $20 and go with the standard room. You can always walk one block and see the ocean from the beach.

The basic queen room is tiny. Sheets are scratchy and towels were as well. Elevator dings and you can hear it at the end of the hallway and in your room. Hallways are loud and nothing to absorb sound so you hear everything in your room.

I loved this hotel! If I return to Miami Beach, I will definitely stay there again. It was small and quaint and quiet which I appreciated. It was also one block from Collins Avenue where all of the shops and restaurants are. Plenty of places to walk to for meals or drinks. Very nice staff, hotel is exceptionally clean.

I had a fantastic time staying at the cadet hotel. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and bilingual, the location is amazing on the beach and Lincoln Road , and Jackie Gleason Theater and new world symphony, and Convention center. The hotel is very well taken care of and a wonderful place to stay with an on-site Cafe , etc. I highly recommend it!

The best thing about the hotel is location. Close to everything, beach, restaurants, public transport, etc. The hotel is quite outdated. Old furniture, etc. Also, Hotel charges for damaged towels, which I found unusual. Got charged for one of the towel, cause it had hair colour.

A very cozy hotel in a quiet neighborhood, yet close to all the action of Miami, with a private beach just a few minutes' walk away. Towels are provided at reception. The staff is very friendly. The hotel has a backyard with a jacuzzi. The room was decent, with a comfortable bed, and the bathroom, while small, was fine. The only downside was the musty smell when you first enter the room.

Stayed for 2 nights, overall great experience. The location is very convenient, and walkable to the beach. There's a nice cafe in the lobby, and the space is quiet and comfortable. The room was clean and check-in was smooth. The reception closes after 5pm, but they provide directions for self check-in. Great customer service!

I stayed here for 3 nights and my overall stay was positive. the location is amazing but there were some major flags. One of them being cleanliness. Staff was amazing! They ley us check in several hours early so we weren't stranded with our bags until check-in time! They also gave us complimentary drink cards & let us keep our bags there after checkout until we left to the airport!

Location is perfect. The room was a nice size. It was very dusty and the toilet was like a public restroom toilet and it had to be flushed twice. The plumbing was not up to par. The location was the best part.

At check in, your representative, Godfrey was wonderful. He was so friendly, helpful and went out of his way to make sure our check in experience and stay was great. Essex House has a fantastic location but employees like Godfrey make the stay that much better.

Stayed here for a last minute babymoon with my husband. Very nice atmosphere. Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were a little out dated but still very nice. Hi I first got there. They gave me a handicap room when I showered all the water went out, but they fix it for me and they give me different room immediately but I wasn’t happy because I didn’t tell me it’s a handicap room they’re supposed to let me know it’s a handicap and I will confirm I could have it or not.

A wonderful spot to experience Miami Beach on foot. It's perfect for morning walks by the beach. The location is ideal with quiet residential streets, and walkable north to Lincoln Road for shopping and south toward South Pointe for great lobster tacos. Krsto was great and incredibly helpful, especially when our plans changed and he helped us extend our stay.

Just checked out on Sunday. I loved everything about this hotel. It had a beautiful layout and a great location with plenty of shops, restaurants, and convenience stores nearby. It was also within walking distance of Miami's best beaches. The hotel was very clean, and the staff was so friendly and helpful.
