A friend and I were in Miami for my birthday and chose the Julia for our stay. It was a great choice! Very costal, cute and clean! Modern rooms, spacious for small groups or individuals traveling. Walking distance to ocean drive but tucked enough away that you don’t get that rowdy noise on the weekends if you’re trying to sleep. Oscar (the owner) was wonderful as well in ensuring our stay was comfortable...

Lovely facility. Very comfortable and walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Happy hour with wine and snacks each evening. Light breakfast with juice and coffee in the mornings. Staff very friendly and helpful. Seems to be having problems with housekeeping personnel: some rooms not cleaned by the end if the day.

Staff was friendly. Rooms were very modern and the hotel was extremely clean and inviting. The bed was comfortable. They had Starbucks Coffee and tea on site 24hr and a nice spread of breads, yogurt and pastries in the morning. Only a short walk to the beach with towel and lounge chair service available. Would definitely go back.

Great new hotel, but with a few quirks. The beds were soft and comfortable. There was no shower curtain, so the floors got wet when you showered. There was also no iron or ironing board, which is nice for business travelers. I would be happy to stay there again.

The complimentary coffee/tea/water station served to be quite useful. The decor is modern and minimalistic however the rooms are quite reminiscent of dorm rooms. Every step along the corridor is heard from the room. This is not the place for a romantic getaway or for peace and quiet. It may be more suited for a girls weekend or at least friends. The staff were very friendly-one of them remembered my fisrt name the next day, not many hotels have that personal touch. The decor is very eclectic and well designed. The room is small, the curtains are made of paper, you need to use a clip to open the curtains, and you can't open them completely. There are steps at the entrance of the hotel, and you need to carry your luggage up, which is not very convenient. The service attitude is OK. A nice hotel right at the beginning of the beach, with plenty of walking options. They even serve eggs for breakfast. The room has everything you need, including a kitchen.

The blind on my room -- 107 -- had to be kept closed at all times, because the sidewalk comes right up to the window, and puts everyone and everything inside on display. That makes the room terribly dark. As is, the room really should not be rented out -- but installing some kind of a gauze curtain would allow light to enter without walkers outside seeing in.

Came here for my kids birthdays, the hotel & rooms definitely need a cleaning and upgrade but it is the perfect location, it’s within walking blocks of everything, if you just need a room to sleep and shower in.

We stayed here after a day of plane/car travel. They have valet parking ($50) which was super convenient. Rooms are clean and spacious. The hotel provided a beach cart with chairs, towels, etc. They had a dessert bar come in at 8:30pm which was amazing. Perfect location for beach trips, walking along Ocean Ave and taking in the nightlife. Will come back!

I was very happy with the cleanliness of yhe hotel /the room and the service provided. They also had some unexpexted daily happy hrd and activities. The beach cart in the room with beach towels..chairs and unbrella was also a very nice surprise. Oh and having the ability to a free washer and dryer was a big plus. Since it was walking distance to bars and restaurants. We had plenty of options.

Hotel is super close to everything. We walked most of the time. The only down side is that they are doing construction next door so around early mornings you can hear it and loud talking (the workers)

Clean room .staff was excellent. The only thing I didnt like when they said . One person can only vet one crossont or pastry. First time in 20 yeats I have came accross this type of breakfast where you can not eat of your choice.

A wonderful spot to experience Miami Beach on foot. It's perfect for morning walks by the beach. The location is ideal with quiet residential streets, and walkable north to Lincoln Road for shopping and south toward South Pointe for great lobster tacos. The staff wasn’t very friendly and I’ve overheard them speaking bad about customers. They have strict check in and check out policies which don’t make a lot of sense to keep the customer waiting in the lobby when it’s obvious that rooms are already ready.
