I specifically booked a high-floor room on Trip.com, but I was assigned a low-floor room. There was an intermittent noise coming from the ceiling in the room I was given. After contacting the front desk, they quickly moved me to a different room and offered complimentary breakfast as compensation.

Not far from the subway station, it's a new hotel. The room is small but has all the practical amenities you need, and the cleanliness is pretty good. The surrounding facilities are a bit lacking; there's no convenience store. If you check in at night, you'll have to walk quite a distance to McDonald's to get something to eat.

The hotel is quite new and features smart controls throughout, operated by an iPad, which is perfect for solo travelers. It's less than a ten-minute walk to both the Aerospace Museum and the National Gallery, and the subway station isn't far either. It's located on a street lined with embassies, and the atmosphere was nice, so I felt safe walking around. There are also many restaurants nearby. It's also conveniently close to a subway station. Location is walkable to Chinatown and nearby popular areas. The modern design is very nice and can be seen throughout the hotel. Loved the art throughout the hotel. Only downside was the mattress was on the firmer side, and the beds could have used extra sheets for us cold sleepers. Otherwise, it was perfect for a relaxing weekend gate-away to the city.

Lyle hotel is such a gem located in a quaint neighbourhood at DuPont circle. It is quiet yet close enough to all the major museums in DC. It is also located within close proximity to numerous restaurants. The only flaw was a lack of tabletop in the bathroom, which made it difficult to place toiletries in the bathroom.

The price that ******* listed was different from the price that the hotel charged. The hotel tried to charge me more than $900, but the ******* charged me $740. It took me some effort to work with the hotel to correct this which costed my time and damaged my impression to the hotel.
