Hotel Espel in Andorra La Vella

The worst “hotel” we’ve ever been to. The room was supposed to be a double and was so small it wasn’t even a single. To open the closet you had to move the bed. To get to the bathroom you had to push the door shut, so two people couldn’t get in. The walls were super dirty, the floor was even worse. The heating didn’t work and it was freezing cold. Plus, they’re not soundproofed so you can hear everything. The cleaning lady was banging on the floor cleaning and singing in the hallway at 8:30 in the morning. When we complained, the staff started lying and treating us poorly. They told us it was impossible for the cleaning lady to bother us because she starts at 9:30, but I have photos that prove that’s not the case. The room is perfect and the largest in the “hotel” and doesn’t even meet the minimum standards. A lady from the hotel only showed up after we complained and insulted me for telling her the room wasn’t what I had booked. The other gentleman from the hotel with white hair only gives condescending answers and is very rude, the solution they gave us was to go up to the room all night to fix the heating issue, obviously we didn't want to, after not accepting that we had been scammed, the lady, who is supposed to clean the rooms, since she said she checked them herself every day, which by the way, they enter your room daily without your consent, you don't have the option to indicate it, threw us out of the room in a bad manner and without any education, assuring me that she would return the money that they so much left, which they didn't comply with until I complained on the platform.
