Comfort Hotel in Yerevan

My experience at this hotel was terrible and I would not stay here again. This was not the room that we booked. The room we booked was a nice, larger room but they stuffed two beds into this room and said there's no real difference between this room and the one we booked. The beds are not standard. They have a small mattress and then a bigger but thinner mattress on top so you easily slide off all the time. I slid off of it more than once. The toilet would not fully flush so every time I crapped I would have to flush multiple times for it to go down the drain. The room would always smell like crap. The air conditioner automatically turns off when you take the key card off the wall so we would always come back to a room that stunk of poop. We went out and had an amazing time and came back at 2 AM and the smell of crap hit us like a ton of bricks as soon as we opened the door. We had to stand outside the room with the door open for it to air out and the other guests came out and asked us what had happened. The ground was all slippery marble both inside and outside the room so it was really dangerous when sleeping because it was really easy to slip off the bed and onto the marble and after a shower because the entire bathroom floor would be wet and slippery since there was no shower curtain. Speaking of the bathroom, there was no light above the mirror so shaving or putting on makeup was only possible when you got some sunlight through the window. The phone inside the room didn't work. We asked for a replacement probably 3 times until it was finally replaced with another broken phone. The electric kettle also didn't work and was finally replaced with one that worked but the lid was broken so it would pop off while you were pouring the water and burn you. The breakfast was OK and the cleaning ladies were nice.
