This was our third visit, and we were again greatly impressed by so many things - the food, comfortable room, excellent spa facilities (especially the rooftop pool), super-helpful reception, friendly and professional staff

Whether the cosy and comfortable rooms, the fantastic food, the different pools including infinity pool on the roof terrace and jacuzzi (hard to get my son out of the latter), the playground with table-football and table-tennis facilities, the vast sauna options, the well equipped gym, everything is just great

The Tuxerhof is simply the best hotel we have stayed in. It is personal,family run and maintains an incredibly high standard. We have visited it 25 times in the past 20 years. It continue to offer more and moe amenities

From the fantastic skiing (they now have a tour for an early bird access to the glacier) to snowshoeing and tobogganing to the sauna experience and the delicious food, everything was first class

The family who have run this lovely hotel for several generations really understand hospitality, and they devote boundless energy to making their guests feel welcome and comfortable

Afterwards, Andrea and Mario took us to the apres ski place next door (the famous Hexenkessel, which is also owned by the Tuxerhof) to celebrate. The next morning, we were tired

Don’t hesitate to book …this is our 4th visit! 5* all inclusive luxury in every aspect of the hotel, great family rooms, incredible spa with water slide, jacuzzis, huge pool which goes from inside to outside, amazing adult spa with multiple steam and saunas and a family spa too where you can take the kids

The food is out of this world the best buffet and then at dinner you have a choice to have a 5 course Michelin standard meal or buffet and you have a choice of about 30 cheeses too with truffle honey which is a must! Never eaten so much but beautiful food and the kids loved it too! The customer service is excellent from the cleaners, bar men, waiters/waitresses to reception staff can’t fault them

We loved the attention and detail at this amazing family hotel. Food is of high quality and menus well crafted with distinction in mind. Kids had an amazing time between the ski slopes and water facilities and teen club

Pop up the lift straight onto the slopes what more can you ask for! Our kids feel so relaxed in this hotel they happily go down to the kids play area where there is gaming, pool, table football, a climbing wall area so we finish supper in peace! So sad to be leaving and cannot wait to come back again!

The 'aufguss' sessions are legendary (especially the one on Friday with Babsie, with ABBA music). Every year, we meet the same people at this hotel and some of them have become friends that we see at home

The staff is incredibly friendly and always eager to help with whatever they can, especially Viktor and Tobias, at reception. The hotel has an immense spa that is extremely well looked after by the staff

A small safe is provided, which was useful. The spa and sky pool are absolutely stunning and really elevate the hotel to a luxurious experience

The beds were on the firm side and would be improved with a topper, and the bed linen felt quite crisp and stiff. There’s no kettle, fridge, or tea and coffee facilities, which would have been a nice addition

The showers are compact but worked well. We noticed a few maintenance issues: there were large cracks in the bathroom sink in room 405, and the curtains were coming off the track in room 404

Incredible wide blue runs for those learning. The pistes were so quiet this week and sometimes we felt like we had the place to ourselves. No queues at all for any lifts! Great restaurants on piste

We had two adjacent rooms on the top floor, which worked really well for us. There was no balcony for us (Crystal) guests, which was a first for us, but the views were still lovely

What a treat to have a roof top pool and multiple saunas and steam room plus plenty of relaxing spaces including swing recliners, water beds and garden sofas. There’s a fab play area for children and an indoor pool too

Our 12th holiday at the Edelweiss which is in a superb location, has a modern yet traditional Alpine feel, comfortable and well appointed rooms, a lovely pool and spa, great food and excellent service from the staff

The pool on the last floor has perfect view and lots of space for intimate rest and relax. The only thing that I would slightly improve would be bigger amount of vegetables at the breakfast

Amazing hotel with beautiful location close to all slopes and easy aces to everything that you need. Everything in hotel is beautiful but there is one thing which stands out from everything how good is it and that’s food

Our only bugbear, being fans of good music, is the background music, which often consists of excruciating cover versions, however this is a minor point, we will be back!

Food was that great that we even asked to meet chef personally. He is as good a cook as he is a man, in one word brilliant. Probably the best quality and tastiest food I have ever tried in my life

Great mix of contemporary and traditional without being dated. Food is exceptional and always plentiful, especially at breakfast. The staff are extremely friendly and professional

Unfortunately, our luggage did not arrive when we did. Simon, the desk manager did everything possible to help us expedite our luggage arrival. He went far beyond what one might hope for in the way of assistance

Our hotel was in a perfect location for exploring the old city and Christmas market. Our rooms were just what we needed, clean, comfortable and quiet. We were served a lovely, hot breakfast as well

If only the towels were a bit softer it would have been 100%. Loved our stay and will recommend to friends!

We select Salzburg for new year and Arthotel was a great choice. Location was excellent but also the hotel rooms where great. Very clean, spacious and modern.

Design and decoration of the room and hotel was very nice. It was a bit hectic finding a spot to pull over to check in and take in our bags as this is a very busy area. Staff were very friendly and helpful

We were 12 days in Europe and stayed in 4 different hotels including the W in Budapest, which was gorgeous

This was by far my favorite! I believe they gave us an upgrade to the fourth floor suite facing the beautiful street below. The front desk staff were fantastic, and the hotel was unique, cozy, and beautiful

Only the water in the pool is a tiny bit too cold (a technical problem was told to be the cause of this). Ski material storage on point and easily accessible from outside. A top quality holiday we enjoyed very much!

My family and I (3 children aged 9, 7 and 5) went on a ski trip and spent 4 nights at Kesselgrub (31/12 => 5/1). We booked the Suite 'Garden-Love'. Upon arrival (morning), we were offered a room to change to go skiing

The room was very quiet throughout the whole day and night. Breakfast and diner (half-board) are of high quality: very nice food, a lot of choice and well presented. (We did not use the afternoon buffet)

Ironically, we only felt the New Year's Eve diner was of lower quality. But the other days was superb. Our standards are high: we like Austria but in other hotels, the food is regularly a concern to us

This hotel is newly renovated and it shows! The spa area is absolutely fabulous and the various areas of relaxing were really well done big congratulations to the architect who also designed this

The interior of the hotel is very traditional yet modern and provides a warm and cosy atmosphere. The room was very clean and spacious. Our children were very enthusiastic on their bedroom

I really like the decoration style of the hotel room! It gives people a sense of intimacy at home and the price is low when booking, which is very cost-effective

The location is good, it’s convenient to go anywhere! The only small drawback is that there are so many rooms on the first floor, it's like a maze to find your way around

This property is out of this world. The staff are amazing, the food is excellent, the rooms are remodeled beautifully. The views are unreal, the spa is so relaxing and it’s right next to the center of town

Food was also good although vegetarians have a tougher time with choice but that seems to be our experience of Austria generally. We would definitely recommend this hotel and its location and facilities

Ski bus stop close to hotel - gondola is on the outskirts of town. Nauders ski area is on the small side so unsuitable for a weeks holiday for advanced skiers

Very friendly staff, great service and assistance, good food. We travelled with a group of 12 with both disabled persons and dietary restrictions, and all requests were fulfilled without any issue

Hotel has a great location, very central in the village and close to bus stops, shops and supermarkets

They offer yoga and relaxation sessions as well. (the hotel is in a very quiet street and 2 km from Mayrhofen - you can walk to the village) The hotel has a beautiful spa , rooftop swimming pool and indoor one

After having a bad experience at another hotel in the area, we continued our vacation at this hotel. This was our second time visiting, and it turned out to be just as good as the first

I really enjoyed the outdoor pool; the views are beautiful and the atmosphere is very relaxing. We also had a relaxation massage, which was good. We will definitely return to this place soon

A lovely stay that was business and pleasure. The location worked well for us as we had a car, but the bus also works well. Beautifully quiet with brilliant facilities and fantastic dining.

The spa areas are a real highlight, especially the rooftop pools and the event sauna, which are not to be missed

Breakfast are also tasty and rich in options - you can benefit with ala carte breakfast. Spa has small pool but nice sauna section. I would recommend it for adults and couples

Meanwhile, 3 issues: -Breakfast: the room is too small (crowded + guests have to queue outside), food choice and quality is so-so for a 5* -Mattresses are too soft -the Swimming Pool is a joke (too small to swim + not enough water pressure for hydromassage)

The hotels I stay in have become much more important and play a big part of my trip and can impact my experience in visiting a country and my choice has become so much easier now! Going the extra mile is the basic standard it seems! Highly recommended if you want a caring, organised and memorable stay where everything you want or need will be provided with a smile

Very comfy, clean, spacious and modern art deco hotel room. The bathroom was nice and clean. heated floors made it comfortable in winter. Rain shower was amazing! Very helpful and friendly staff

Sometimes I can hear the sound of trains, but the scenery at the station is nice and the sound doesn’t affect my life too much. Great location! It won’t be dangerous to walk around the area by yourself

You can walk to the station/Mirabell Palace Gardens. The hotel restaurant next to it seems to have good reviews and there are many people queuing. In addition, there are many restaurants to choose from nearby

The location is excellent too- 5 minutes from Praterstern station ( take s7 train from airport, takes 30 minutes and is great value)

Amazing location. Safe area. Right next to theme park and metro to get everywhere. Loved it.

Our only flaws were that the area nearby was strangely quiet, with the shops seeming to always be closed and some lovely pubs that seemed like nobody goes there? And the glass door on the bathroom that could be seen through from the bed meant we had to vacate the room, etc

A beautiful hotel with modern rooms and a wellness area. The gym is also equipped with modern equipment. The hotel offers outstanding cuisine, and vegetarians also have a daily evening menu

One floor below is the sauna area (steam room, 90° sauna and 60° sauna) as well as the restrooms and a water and tea dispenser. One floor below is the outdoor pool

However, vegetarians often miss out on the lunch menu. Perfect location for hiking or skiing

Our room was luxurious, comfortable and elegant. But it was the food that completely blew us away. The restaurant serves gourmet meals and every course is an explosion of flavours

It could be a wonderful hotel but as a guest you do not feel really welcome, which is a pity No help at check in You are simply assigned a seat in the restaurant From start to finish you do not have the feeling of hospitality

We ate in the hotel one evening with friends - the food was superb. The pool itself is dated, but clean and the jets were great for a back massage! The rest of the area was totally relaxing

Really loved the breakfast. Every morning you can order a delicious fresh omlet. Spacious sauna area with a warm pool to relax in after skiing day. Very nice!

There is no air conditioning, but when opening the windows, flies or mosquitoes did not bother. Very quiet for sleeping, despite the noisy river, excellent internet, not far from restaurants and the city

2nd visit 31/1/26 - Excellent location - 2/3 mins to cityXpress, another couple of minutes to town centre for bars and restaurants. Breakfast was very good, great choice, with attentive service

Ski bus stops and the nearest gondola are also 5 minutes walk( with ski boots on!). We were on a bed and breakfast basis. The breakfast was lovely- typical Austrian spread

The food is just great, especially the fish which holds very high standards. The furnishings and details around it are cool. One of the best restaurants in Zell am See.

Hotel Der Waldhof Review: We stayed in a Junior Suite in the building across the road. As it's recently been refurbished the room was of an excellent standard with a separate room for the children and plenty of space

The breakfast buffet has something for everyone. The 5 course organic dinner is amazing. The welness area is new and absolutely beautiful and relaxing! Several sauna's, a pool, relaxation areas

Hiking is possible right from the hotel. There's a free shuttle bus going up and down the valley several times an hour, cost free, busstation 5 minutes from the hotel. Nice and easy way to start any hike

The food is delicious, a 5 course meal in the evening with salad buffet. The breakfast buffet has so many options. The beds are great, we slept really well. The wellness area is new and really nice!

Wonderful rooms with the most amazing view from the balcony. This hotel is 100% organic and they try to source their food locally. The owners are really nice and helpfull, so is the rest of the staff
