The room is spacious, the service is attentive, the location is convenient, and the price is very affordable. However, the bed is a bit small, an extra bed costs 250 a day, and there's no Wi-Fi. I hope these can be improved.

I've been staying at this hotel for many years. It used to be a Crowne Plaza, and although it's been downgraded now, the location is absolutely fantastic. It's only a two-minute walk to Wangfujing Pedestrian Street, making it a hotel with excellent value for money in Beijing.

This hotel is genuinely good! I had to switch hotels at the last minute and ended up here. The front desk staff seemed very professional, effortlessly switching between Chinese and English, which was really impressive. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm on a business trip to Beijing!

The room environment was absolutely terrible! The heater control in the room was broken, and with temperatures around -15°C (four-nine weather), the room was freezing cold; even the bedding was icy. The showerhead was broken and couldn't be fixed in place. The refrigerator ran non-stop all night, making a huge racket that made it impossible to sleep. It's a very dilapidated place. The compensation prices listed by the hotel are quite high, but the management doesn't seem to care about improving the environment or service, just inflating the compensation figures. I wonder if Beijing's relevant authorities provide any oversight...

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the Forbidden City and Wangfujing Street – just around the corner. The front desk staff were enthusiastic, and the breakfast was quite rich. However, the hotel's facilities are a bit dated.

18.12.2025 Guest

Extremely convenient location! While the hotel itself is a bit older, its convenience is a major plus. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and it's great for shopping. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay with good value for money. A really nice trip.

14.12.2025 Guest

The decor is extremely dated, and all the facilities and equipment are very old. The room I was assigned was quite far from the elevator, but the bed was comfortable to sleep in. The breakfast offered a good variety and was quite tasty. The location is excellent.

12.12.2025 Guest

I've never left a review before, but I just HAD to for this place! It was an absolutely terrible experience. It was -4 or -5 degrees Celsius outside, and the air conditioning barely worked. I had to sleep in my clothes all night! The toiletries had a very strong, unpleasant smell, and the facilities were incredibly old and run-down. The bathroom and refrigerator made constant strange noises. I strongly advise against staying here!

Location is good. Hotel breakfast is also good. The hotel facilities are quiet old, especially room carpet… but room sizes are good and quiet too.

Very good location. Very near the Metro and Wangfujing Pedestrian Street. About 25 mins walk to Jingshan Park too. From the Forbidden City, you can exit from east gate to Wangfujing street. Concierge person (John) was very helpful. He helped us make reservation for the famous Beijing roast duck so don’t have to queue at all. He also helped us arrange transport to the Mutianyu Great Wall and made a few stops on the way back. Very wide selection for breakfast.

Share your experiences, help others make the right choice!

Think about what you would like to know if you were looking for a review about a place to relax. Please describe in detail what you liked and what you didn't. What would you advise to other guests and to the hotel owner. The more fully you tell about the hotel, the easier it will be for other people to make a choice and they will be very grateful to you!
