Not the easiest place to find but ended up being a pretty good location and central to the Metro as well as main attractions. Forbidden City is a reasonable walk away. The breakfast was a great value and the hotel overall was a great choice. Excellent value for the price point. Would recommend and stay there again.

Great location, helpful staff , value for money. I love the lobby area with hot tea and cozy sofa. The washing service is very convenience. Definitely book this hotel again when we visit Beijing next time.

Staff barely know as couple words in English, forgot to give me breakfast tickets on check in, so on second morning I dint have time to eat properly having no time to deal with reception about it ( while leaving for train really early).. Room was situated in a slum-looking building next to main so you must pass quite a distance from reception to get there. Room was pretty clear, bathroom and bed are ok. One of cloth hangers on the wall was broken, view from the window was awful. But they have disposable slippers, toothbrushes and so on. Towels are good too. Also plenty of free water bottles. So: dont recommend for non domestic tourism

Room was not cleaned daily. Cleaner just removed dustbin and top up toilet papers. Toilet and shower room remained in unclean condition unless you informed the front receptionist. Just left tea and coffee bags on table without any effort to put them into glass container provided. Okay to basic cleaning but does not expect bedding not done, shower cubicle not washed and floor not mopped.

Cleanliness: Good. Room is well-cleaned.
Location: it's in a small alley, which it is a little shaddy at night. I took train from the airport, when i reach Dengshikou, i have to carry my luggage and walk up the stairs. There is no lift/escalator at the train station exit. No supper spot nearby as well.
Service: when we reach the hotel, it was 7-8pm. The hotel takes very long to help us to do the check-in. End up, the hotel bring us to a small room at the ground floor at another block. Per hotel personnel, the hotel is fully booked and we reached there very late, they are running out if rooms for us. So they can only give us a smaller room. There is no compensation on this.
Amenities: well-equipped with washing machine and dryer. But it is forever filled with people doing laundry

Hotel is new, room is spacious, very closed to metro station and convenient to get to many tourist spots and restaurants nearby.

The room wasn't huge, but it was impeccably clean! It was also well-equipped. I'd booked a 1.5-meter bed, but they upgraded me to a 1.8-meter one at check-in, which was a nice touch! The bedding was comfortable. The location is excellent – easy to find and very close to Wangfujing Pedestrian Street. Being next to a residential area, it was wonderfully quiet in the mornings. Before I even checked in, I ran into a traffic restriction, and the front desk proactively called to give me the best directions. I'll definitely be staying here again next time!

Excellent! The hotel is incredibly close to the subway station, just a two or three-minute walk away. The surroundings were pleasant, and the service was top-notch. My stay experience was fantastic, and it offered great value for money. It truly lived up to being my carefully chosen hotel. The people in Beijing were also very warm and friendly, making it a city well worth exploring. It definitely lives up to its reputation as the capital!

We initially booked a twin room, but later switched to a king room and extended our stay for several nights. We had booked this hotel somewhat randomly as we were visiting for a family member's medical treatment, but it completely exceeded our expectations. The rooms were spacious and spotless, and the hotel staff were incredibly warm and helpful. The hospital was just a short, convenient walk away, and there were plenty of great dining options nearby. For families or those seeking medical care, this hotel is absolutely the perfect choice!

The Wangfujing Hanting Hotel is hands down the best value for money I've found in Beijing! Its location is absolutely fantastic – just a two-minute walk to Dengshikou Subway Station, which made going out in the evenings incredibly convenient. Despite being in such a prime area, the hotel was surprisingly quiet; even my partner, who usually struggles to sleep in unfamiliar beds, slept soundly and woke up naturally. The staff were exceptionally warm, thoughtful, and welcoming. The biggest surprise, and a wonderful detail, was the self-service laundry room available in the main building.
