Tourist Friendly, Great Rooms and cooperative staff.

The hotel is conveniently located in the city center, making it easy to visit all of Shanghai's famous attractions. The room I stayed in this time had a classic design, and the breakfast offered a great mix of Western and Chinese options every day. Overall, I was very satisfied.

This hotel is located in a bustling downtown area, not far from Wukang Building, making it perfect for a city walk to really soak in Shanghai's urban culture. The hotel building itself was designed by the famous architect László Hudec during the民國 (Minguo) period, giving it a strong sense of history. The interior environment is excellent, reflecting Shanghai's unique sophistication and romance.

What truly stood out was the amazing staff. When we checked out, my family's tablet was accidentally left in the safe. The housekeeping staff found it, promptly secured it, and called to inform us. We were so grateful to get the tablet back! This hotel is highly recommended for anyone visiting Shanghai.

I stayed here for New Year's in Shanghai. The hotel's location is pretty good, about a 20-minute walk from Jing'an Temple. However, the facilities are a bit old. The toilet had an odd smell, and the hairdryer was very noisy. On the positive side, the bedding was clean and tidy. A slight downside was that the cleaning staff left their carts piled up right outside our room door. Overall, it was a mediocre stay.

✨ It's pretty good for a solo traveler. Great value for money in the city center, and the room is quite spacious, bigger than typical budget hotels. The common areas downstairs are very well-designed with a mixed style. I really liked the vanity table, and a great bonus is the fridge with a small ice-making compartment!

The service staff all seemed to be Shanghainese, polite and not overly talkative. However, some details need attention. A maintenance worker was fixing a light on a ladder right by the elevator entrance, which felt dangerous to passing guests. Also, in the breakfast restaurant, the staff were slow to clear plates; tables were only tidied after guests had finished eating and left.

The hotel environment is clean and tidy, the service is warm and friendly, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable with complete facilities. The location is convenient and offers great value for money. It was a pleasant stay and is highly recommended.

This old building, though not large, is full of character. As a work and apartment of the designer László Hudec, it retains a small space commemorating him. The price is low but the amenities are excellent, and there are quite a few foreigners at breakfast, making it very good value for money.

The building was designed by László Hudec, which is a big plus! The location is convenient, the price is affordable, and the environment is beautiful. There's also afternoon tea on the first floor, and it gets quite busy. It's not too far from Jiangsu Road Metro Station, and there are plenty of dining options nearby.
