Despite being a bit far from my Helsinki business trip destination, the surrounding scenery and facilities were excellent. I had a wonderful two weeks in this well-appointed hotel. My only regret, however, was that the room temperature control instructions and controls were unclear, which made it difficult to sleep due to the cold. I wish there had been more guidance on how to use the temperature control...

Overall OK but corridor never clean..

This is a very good place to stay. The price is very reasonable and the studio has everything you need.

Everything is good with the place, with a gym and sauna. The place is around 40 mins away from the city centre with public transport.

I had a great stay at the Scandic Pasila. My room was comfortable and clean. The only thing it was missing was a kettle.

The room was rather chilly, and cranking up the thermostat did not help a lot. It was also rather noisy, both from outside (I could hear my neighbors) and inside (something was buzzing all night, air conditioning?). The Crowne Plaza Helsinki has an excellent location, within walking distance to city center attractions. The rooms are clean and comfortable, well-equipped, and the 24-hour service is attentive. It offers great value for money, making it an ideal choice for both business and leisure travelers.

The room hygiene was terrible. The trash can hadn't been emptied, and the complimentary bottled water had clearly been opened and partially consumed. We requested a room change, but even the new room's carpet wasn't clean.

The environment is excellent, and the facilities are very complete.

A really great hotel! It's not far from the city center, just about a 20-minute walk or a 10-minute taxi ride. There's a small supermarket nearby where I bought a lot of Fazer chocolates for souvenirs. The breakfast was also very rich and varied.

Very good experience esp gym room

Perfect location to loads of restaurants/ cafe / fast food. Directly opposite the train station that service VR train to various parts of Finland. There is also a link department store and 24 hours supermarket. Highly recommended

Amazing location, just across central station and very easy to get around the city, near to all the shops and walking distance to main attractions. Breakfast has great selection and i love the pancake so much! Room is very spacious and has great city view. The reception service were also exceptional, very welcoming and friendly even gave us recommendation on local places.

It has all aspects you required for the hotel. It would be perfect if it comes with gym instead of walking to the sisters hotel nearby.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, directly opposite Helsinki Central Railway Station, with superb public transport links right outside, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere. The restaurant on the tenth floor features a panoramic terrace, offering breathtaking views of the entire city of Helsinki.

I stayed at Original Sokos Hotel Seurahuone, Kotka during my business trip from Korea. The bedding and the room were very clean, and all the staff members were kind and dedicated. I was very satisfied with my stay and would gladly recommend this hotel.

We had a lovely experience here at Hotel Arthur! The staff was lovely, kind and helpful. I asked for hot milk with my coffee and the lovely lady accommodated my wish with a smile. This is easily one of the best hotels I have ever been to! The funky decor of the room was unique and the room was huge with a bar area, dining table and chairs, a loveseat, a sofa bed, 2 other armchairs, and a king-size bed. Been many times in other cities and was always nothing but excellent. This time not all perfect. A room with a miniature sauna as such is a great idea. Hostel Kofi Cafe stayed for six(6) days. During the Autumn period, the town can have a substantial influx of tourist curiou ti do adventure night tours of the upper regions and hope to see the "northern lights". Not available when I was present.

Hotel reception was hard to find. You don't see the big sign's about the hotel. Customer service was excellent. Breakfast was really good. Elevators was a little bit tricky and slowly to use..even though there was three elevators.. overall it was a good experience! Worth to spend a weekend in there and explore Tampere. The hotel is centrally located near a beautiful park/playground. It was a very busy weekend and the hotel was very full. There was no onsite parking so we had to park in the city lot about a block away. The room was clean and comfortable but it would have been nice to have a fan since it was quite warm.

Wow, such an amazing place! Our standard room was far from standard, it was beautiful! Plus everything we needed and more. The spa was unreal! Paradise! The seal tour was so enjoyable, even though we didn't see any seals, sadly. It's a shame we couldn't stay longer as there are so many activities on offer and many more interesting places to stay. The room was OK, with a dedicated desk. But there was no plug for charging near the bed, which was a bit troublesome. The breakfast was not very rich. There were some restaurants nearby, including a Chinese restaurant that tasted OK.

We spent 2 nice nights at this hotel and the experience was very good. We had a loft room for 4 persons and it was a very nice surprise how spacious it was! This is a modern and comfortable hotel, where we slept peacefully and without disturbance. Restaurants and other retail facilities are not close by but the Fat Lizard brewery pub a short walk away is a big plus. The metro is anyhow not far, which of course gives you the possibility to get to Helsinki or other retail centres.

Largest bed in europe I have ever slept, best receptionists I have ever encountered in europe and great location, with free coffee and tea included in the price! Especially if you are coming with a car do not bother yourself with staying in city center, 10 minutes to the center by car and close to the nature.

Got room on what seems to be the old side, so a bit run down. Also had to use extra lift to navigate within the same floor with child cart.

We stayed here while in Joensuu for the Biathlon World Cup in nearby Kontiolahti. On some of the other reviews, there were comments about the lack of character. Yes, it does lack this, but be honest - this is not what you are visiting Joensuu! NEGATIVES - the are only two negatives. The first was that the bathroom was VERY small and in need of updating. Yes, I am from the States but I visit Europe...

Very nice hotel in a center of city. Friendly service. Nice restaurants and grocery in same building, not to mention alcohol store around the corner. Not the newest hotel but quite well kept. No complaints. Worked for my holiday needs perfectly.

There is a limited choice of hotels in Lappeenranta and the Scandic Patria is showing it's age inside and out (like most Scandics). All in all though, it is a good hotel, rooms are comfortable but dated. The location is the main attraction being just 150m from the Harbour Square/Satamatori. Breakfast was good and staff friendly. There is lots of free on-street parking nearby.
