A hotel with great design, friendly staff and great breakfast. The standard double room size is fine but the rest room is very small. Bed is comfortable. In room amenities are quite good, with a capsule coffee machine.

The rooms are a bit old fashioned already but personally I like it. They have their own character compared to many popular business hotels. But this is really matter of taste. The court yard side rooms are very quiet, which is a requirement for me, but don't expect any view. The breakfast is very good in central European standards but quite average in Finland or Sweden. Service was very good and friendly

I arrived at 6 AM and the lady at the desk was very nice. She offered me coffee (since I couldn't check in for another 9 hours or so) and we talked about what to do in Helsinki for about an hour. Very clean place. I enjoyed the single room with big bathroom in Lönnrotinkatu. The double has tiny bathroom and confusing shower tap.

Modern, Scandinavian vibe with really helpful and warmhearted staff. We had some weird request and all were fulfilled without any hesitation. Attached pictures are from the King Suite. It had a fireplace and all. The bathroom + sauna alone were larger than a junior suite. Can't recommend enough!

Been here several times. Always clean. A bit noisy and the windows don't close properly. The sauna area is really nice.

Amenities and rooms were quite good. But it is so confusing if you’re checking in after their office time which is later than 8pm. You can’t even enter the building and nobody’s there. If it’s late night or if youre traveling alone, it’s not gonna be right choice. Beside that everything is comfy

The place is very clean and the atmosphere is very cozy. You can also find many supermarkets around you and a 24 hour one in case you forgot something. Not to mention it is only 2 minutes away from the metro

The amenities in this studio were fabulous, great kitchen area and bathroom including a washing machine and laundry pods. The staff were helpful when needed and we could store our luggage free of charge before and after check out in a secure space. It also had 2 jacuzzis, a steam room and a sauna which was wonderful after a long day of exploring Helsinki. There was a metro and tram station right outside...

The environment is comfortable and the rooms are clean.  There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby .  However, there are a few inconvenience. - The room is quite far from the restaurant where breakfast is served. - You need to carry your luggage up to the second-floor room yourself , as there is no elevator, which is inconvenient if you have large/ heavy luggage. - There is a bedside lamp above...

My impressions after staying during October when the snow hadn't yet accumulated. The building where my room was located had few guests. The room was old and simple but comfortable to use. A basic, odorless and tasteless hotel. Quite clean, good service and in a good location, but nothing special. Basic sauna in the basement, with a bad heater.

This place was an extention of the other side (across the road) which had the rooms that we stayed in. This is the place where we visited for our breakfast and it was fabulous. The marmalade and the assorted Jams were worth every piece of toast that I wanted to have.

Quick sunmer holiday in Kuopio Hotel staff was super nice and helpfull on every encounter, they gave us travel tips, small room upgrade and so on. Parking was super easy and pricing reasonable. Breakfast was ample with good balance of sweet and salty foods. There were few quirks though: -to access breakfast space, one has to go to basement, take underground corridor under public road and then resurface...

Place to be for a skier The room was a great place for a skier, the slopes are just outside of the door! Simple but clean, very nice staff!

Our stay was exactly what my fiancé and I were hoping for! The room had absolutely everything needed for a ski trip. It had a spectacular view with both a hot tub and sauna. It was spacious, equipped with all the kitchen necessities, and was close to the rentals and gondola. Not too mention all the nearby restaurants and shops. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay.

Great accommodation and centrally located. We stayed as a family in a 2 bedroom apartment and it came equipped with full kitchen, lovely seating area, double shower and sauna. The views from the apartment were amazing and with it being so central getting to all local amenities was very easy

The only downside was the food, we stayed half board so had breakfast in the Colorado bar, the selection was very limited and they only had one 2 slice toaster which was very frustrating. Ruka Finland was a great location, we went with Crystal Ski. Alleged transfer was 25 mins it took us well over an hour. Also had to wait at the airport as our coach was still being used by others waiting to get in to the airport. Very small airport and limited capacity with crystal bringing so many people in a small time frame put a strain on the airport. That said all the airport staff were very helpful...

The room was OK, with a dedicated desk. But there was no plug for charging near the bed, which was a bit troublesome. The breakfast was not very rich. There were some restaurants nearby, including a Chinese restaurant that tasted OK.

Everything was fine except that they didn't let us in a little earlier.

The hotel's location is very convenient. The room didn't have a microwave or a kettle, but it did have a mini-fridge for drinks. The trash can was a bit small. I'd consider this hotel again for a short trip.

Amazing and affordable stay tucked in Hakaniemi. Location is good as it is close to Hakaniemi train station. There’s a McDonalds nearby and mini market. Overall cleanliness of room is excellent and the breakfast buffet is delicious too.

First time going to Ruka/Finland, definitely plan on going every year.

Clean, enough kitchen essentials to see us through the week and cook for ourselves. Awesome location. Kids were happy we were right by the ice slide this year. Kitchen space is a bit snug but didn’t stop us in any way. We would definitely book again.

Beware apartments with hot tub. Hot tubs are prescribed to 35 Celsius temperature which is way too low, at least in winter time. There are no change to adjust temperature. Location perfect, service moderate and rooms are adequate enough. nearby construction gives early wakeup without extra cost at 7.00 am.

The noise from the adjacent hotel construction site was somewhat disturbing from 7am to 7pm, especially in the morning and evening.

Annual autumn trip We spent a week in Ruka with our dog. All services were close by and we could go to many places with our dog. We were on the 4th floor and the views were great!

Great location in the centre of Ruka village. You can access a supermarket and a (paid, not included) parking garage directly with the elevator of the apartment building.

The breakfast was delicious!!! Breakfast was served from 3:30 to 10:00 in the morning! I was so happy because I had an early morning flight. They were also happy to store my luggage for me. ☺️☺️🔅🔅

Hotel ideally located to where I needed to go for business meetings. Also very close to the airport. Hotel has shuttle bus service to and from the hotel or Uber will cost about €6.50. Cabs from hotel may cost more. Just use Bolt or Uber. Breakfast is a must at the hotel and there is a huge choice from continental to to cooked breakfast.

Location was excellent with metro and huge shopping mall. Hotel also had a nice sauna. Breakfast was good. Service was "cold". Very little talk, quiet, no smiles. Rooms were new but cleaning services were " so-so". However maybe the best one around that area.

we have a comfortable stay. The room is spacious, including attachments private sauna room which is inside the toilet. We have to preheat the room for about 40 minutes prior to enjoy the sauna. There are some shopping center and super market near the hotel within 10 to 15 minutes walk depending your foot power.
