Having spent at the hotel more than 20 days in 2025 I have to say that things have gone worse. Lets start from breakfast, selection has shrinked, e.g. you have practically 1 or 2 options for tea, fresh juice not available and now even ginger shots are gone. Just simply amazing service!! The staff here goes over and beyond to make you feel welcome. Breakfast staff fills fresh items 5 minutes before closing so everyone can enjoy their leisurely meal... dinner staff finds a way to get a table last minute... etc. There must be something in the water here to create such an atmosphere 🤭

However, for the sauna, the operating hours are short, and the temperature is a bit low. After a few people used the shower, the drain got clogged. Nice room which seemed recent'ishly renovated. Good air conditioning and light blocking curtains. The only complaint is that you can somewhat disturbingly hear sounds coming from waterpipes or something. These continued over the night. If you're a light sleeper you likely won't sleep much here.

A former luxury spa, perhaps a bit run down. The family room is spacious and the spa is nice. The place closes too early on weekends, so it's worth going for a swim as soon as you arrive. Hesburger was closed even though it was supposed to be open according to the opening hours. The food at the Classic Pizza restaurant came quickly, and food was good.

Kids like here, as hotel guests can also visit to water theme park. The hotel is a bit old, but still acceptable. I don't like the parking service -- hotel doesn't provide free or discounted parking for guests, and it is quite expensive, I spent almost 30€ for the parking.

It was our second visit to Holiday Club Caribia, Turku. Surprisingly we got exactly the same room to stay as of previous time in 2021. The swimming pools are the best part of the hotel, the rooms were not properly cleaned up, we found lots of dust in the corners of the room. Bathroom was better than the last visit. Overall, it was a good experience being in Caribia.

Very average hotel with poor adult facilities, but a great place for children. If you want to relax and spend time there as if you are in spa hotel, it is not a right place. Children are everywhere. Also they have quite bad sound isolation in the rooms. You will hear every cry.

Second time at holiday Inn Helsinki-West Ruoholahti, this time get to know the gym, not to big but with plenty of different machines so you can do a complete workout. Breakfast as always excellent.

The hotel is about 5 mins walk away from the metro station, and has restaurants, bars and stores nearby. The snowy view from the hotel room is great. The overall hygiene is nice and the bed is soft. However, the hotel does not provide free slippers, and the shower room door cannot be closed completely. Water would leak out during your shower and make the floor wet

There is a massive Easygym right opposite in a building that doesn’t look like a gym at all Natura Viva nearby for kayaks and paddle boards offers discount for Hotel Rantapuisto guests.
