Hot day in Finland The desk hours were real variable. The blinds had been left open before we checked in and it was a hot day in Finland, The sun was shining in so the room was hot. There was one little fan, but not really enough

Breakfast was great! The hotel is situated in nature so very peaceful and perfect when travelling with a dog. The room was comfy and I slept really well.

Friendly staff. Beautiful nature. Family room is big enough for 4 people and dogs. We liked separate entrance.

I was there with our company. Lots of activity options and the guides were fun and professional. Also the dinner was good. Can't comment on the rooms as we didn't stay for the night.

If you visit during the snowy season, the glass will be mostly covered in snow, so you won't be able to get a clear view of the sky.

The room was a bit small, and the air conditioning wasn't quite strong enough – I even felt a bit chilly wearing thick fleece pants. I suggest increasing the fan speed on the AC. There's a time limit for showering in the room; if you exceed it, the water cuts off, likely due to a small water heater capacity. The Aurora alarm system in the room is excellent. This glass igloo offers an amazing aurora-viewing experience! Even though it was freezing cold outside, the heating inside kept us perfectly warm. We could just lie in bed and watch the Northern Lights. The hotel even has an aurora alarm, so you won't miss it even if you're asleep. Everyone should experience watching the aurora from a glass igloo at least once in their life. Plus, it's super close...

A bit overpriced. Staff’s communication is not enough, missing my breakfast boxes.

The environment is absolutely beautiful, and it's only a 5-minute walk from Santa Claus Village. There's a husky park nearby, and you can also experience reindeer sledding. It's a very convenient place for dining, entertainment, and activities. The only downside is the price, but other than that, it's perfect. I'll definitely stay here again next time.

We had an Annual Meeting with the shareholders and decided of the annual accounts, freedom of responsibility of the Board and the Managing director and to dispose the result. There were several shareholders present. Then we had a Board meeting. It was fine meetings.

The place is surrounded by nature.Would recommend the place even weddings.

Conference Center with many rooms and meeting rooms. Restaurant and bars are good with many spaces for meetings and rest. The location offers also accommodation during the week. At about 30 minutes from helsinki city Center this place is perfect for group sessions.

Had an amazing time with my family here! Comfy beds and excellent service and a grocery store across the street. Fresh towels every day were expected but much appreciated. They charge for everything you consume in the fridge.

Beautiful, chic hotel in a perfect location. The barman, Jordan, was friendly and kind, but he also had tips for fun, innovative places to visit and hidden gems in the neighborhood. Order the mezcal espresso martini. It will change your life.

I really liked this hotel. Don’t let its office-block exterior fool you, this is a great hotel. We had a large (and quiet) room with comfortable beds. Breakfast was great and the staff were super friendly. The location is about two minutes walk from the train station and maybe five minutes walk from the market square.

The room decor was very cozy, and we spent Christmas Eve in Rovaniemi. Both ladies at the front desk were incredibly warm and cheerful. The breakfast was fantastic!

Sokos hotel villa is located next to Tampere railwaystation. This 6-floor hotel is quite modern, it has been built on an old grain warehouse. Service was nice again, breakfast ok, but served in another building. Spacious room, this time for solo traveller. I stayed in room on the 6th floor, There were very little window which not possible totally cover with venetian blind.

The hotel is at the "wrong side" of the now ongoing (summer 2025) train track work. Even w/o said construction, the walking distance from the hotel to the parks / central / lakeside is somewhat long, especially compared to rivals like Sokos Ilves, Scandic Koskipuisto or Radisson Blue Grand. Fantastic hotel , we got the room with the sauna (117) and it was very spacious and super modern. Staff were very friendly and very accommodating and checked us in early. We got a fridge full of complimentary drinks and snacks. We got free access to the water park. Great location for sure near town and ski resort.

I loved this hotel. We stayed as a large family over 3 rooms. All the rooms were warm and comfortable with plenty of storage and room. We even had a sauna in the largest family room. There are good and bad points to this place. we really liked the location. It’s a nice spot not far from the frozen lake and ski lifts and a short walk into the main village. Very cosy and nice small studio apartment with beatiful views down towards the lake (we had 2nd floor) Own fireplace with unlimited wood, sauna and balcony plus well equipped kitchenette. Clean and welcoming place, close walking to the Village but still really peaceful.

Very comfortable studio apartment - family of 4 stayed - one room but we all fitted. Bathroom large and good shower, hairdryer provided. Basic kitchen but ample for our needs. Free washing machine under building for laundry. Stayed in block Q. Definitely not ski in! Probably 300m walk to first possible point to put skis on and ski down to T bar lift. Gets a bit annoying by the end!

Very pleased with Aurinkorinne Apartments. Booked a studio through Crystal and found I was able to access the apartment from 12:35pm rather than wait until normal check in at 6pm. The apartment was very clean, spacious, well designed and well equipped. The key code entry was useful, saves remembering a key! We were in block c which was just at the bottom of the fist hill so an excellent location. Actually quite nice place to live while skiing, surprisingly at least as good as MastonAtio (not sure about spelling). Clean, quiet, pretty close to ski lift so skiing in/skiing out both possible.

Everything you need. Good service, SPA, gym, sandy beach. Spacious outside swimming pool for those who like temperature difference and wake up you body😉

Spa department is not that modern anymore, for example there is no cold water pool, but if that isn’t a big deal for you, this is a good place to go and spend a weekend. Breakfast is generous. Vicinity of the sea is a good bonus.

The hotel is special for its theme as it was a prison before. The room is clean and secured. The staff and very friendly to guide you the direction. The restaurant has quiet and private place to eat, blending in the nature! Though a bit far away from the centre, take light luggage is high suggested!

Hotel is spacious and has an interesting history. The location, including the rest of the Kakola restaurants and businesses is beautiful although a bit in convenient to reach/leave. The funicular is very helpful and adds a fun quirk. Perhaps due to location, hotel and room amenities are plentiful. Service was amazing!

It is an experience. A new hotel with all the gizmos you can get in a hotel room, at an old prison. You would have expected a depressing experience, but they have created excellent rooms and kept the history of the place everywhere else. Great job!

A good choice for a hotel when visiting Mariehamn. Walking distance from the port where cruises like Viking Line and Tallink docks, and you can reach a lot of the activites around Mariehamn by foot from here. The rooms had good ventilation and AC in the heat, perfectly good beds and the breakfast had lots to pick from, including warm options, and even vegan glutenfree alternatives.

Solid choice in Mariehamn. Central location. Not a difficult walk from the ferry, and close to everything else. My room was nice enough, WiFi worked great, and breakfast was really tasty. Best, the front desk helped me arrange a rental car for a day of exploring beautiful and interesting Aland.

I stayed here a while ago and loved my experience. A great location near to metro stops, bus routes, shopping center, and relevant for me Aalto University. The restaurant was excellent, staff very courtesies and professional, and rooms were more than adequate for me and my needs. All in all a great stay and hope to return to Helsinki one day and would happier stay here again.

Not sure why this hotel has 4 stars. From my point of view this is firm 3 stars hotel. It's relatively clean but facilities are broken. For example, bidet in the room's bathroom doesn't work at all. Best possible hotel location if you need accommodation in the Espoo area. Next to the big shopping mall Ainoa, close to transportation (metro, bus station, taxi station), close to nature for execise and several good dining options.

Nice and cosy hotel. Friendly staff, quiet, tidy and well cooled rooms. Excellent sauna and nice little pool. Easy to reach Helsinki city center by metro. Just next to brand new shopping center.

Property was clean, no issues at all. Some construction works are ongoing at the rear of the hotel which I did not know about. That started about 7am so might be early for other guests. Small fitness room was adequate. Food choice in hotel wasn't to my taste but that's not negative review of the restuarant in anyway - but there is a shopping mall less than 2 minutes walk with plenty of food choices...

The location is excellent, and the room is very clean and tidy, with superb underfloor heating in the bathroom. The front desk lady is not only beautiful but also incredibly kind and gentle. If I get the chance to visit Rovaniemi again, I'll definitely choose this accommodation every time.

It's decent, but for this price, you could get something twice as good back home.

Stayed at the Arctic Light Hotel for 3 nights, 23-25th November 2025. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. The staff were attentive, friendly and easy to communicate with in every interaction. The room was very comfortable and beautifully presented and the location was fantastic in the middle of town. Used a hotel bike for 4 days while there to explore lovely Turku. Staff is congenial and helpful to a foreigner who asks many questions! I highly recommend this charming boutique hotel!

Everything seemed quite new, very friendly personnel, only possible less nice fact was that we could not try the restaurant as it is colosed on sundays. But we found nice restaurants down by the river.We will definitely come again here with my husband-

Good quality hotel A good Sokos hotel with central location, just a few minutes of walking to marketplace. The breakfast is one of the best I've experienced in Turku, with a lot of warm and cold alternatives and some nice local products also. My room was tidy and beautifully decorated. The reception staff were great and attentive, and even managed a room for me even though arriving very early.

Had an amazing experience at this place. We stayed here for 7 nights. The view of the city's hustle and bustle was beautiful from our apartment window. We had booked for an included breakfast package, which was super convenient for us. They had a nice variety of delicacies to offer at breakfast time. We had common kitchens on several floors if you're yearning for a home cooked meal and common laundries...

The rooms are spacious and clean. Beds are convenient to sleep in. Everything I needed was there. Keyless entry system worked smoothly for me. I also liked the location. The only reason I did not give 5 starts is that I don't like the bathrooms too much. The automatic light keeps switching off, there is a slight smell from the pipes and the whole bathroom seem like it was added to the room long after...
