Great hotel right in the center of Levi! Having a sauna in the room was a total game-changer. The staff are super lovely, too. Just a heads-up: breakfast is mostly savory. It’s definitely pricey for what it is, but honestly, that’s just Lapland in December for you. Still a great stay

Lovely hotel close to all shops, restaurants and ski slopes. We really liked the private sauna in our room, which was well needed after a days ski. Hotel lobby and bar was also nice and welcoming.

The renovated Scandic Kallio is the only hotel in the area that exudes the ruggedness and authenticity of the bohemian district. The color scheme and furniture of the rooms reflect Kallio's urban city atmosphere, without forgetting the earthiness. Some rooms have a view of Kallio's lively streets, others of the peaceful courtyard. In the hotel's corridors you can admire street art-themed prints.

Scandic Kallio is a very convenient location as it is walking distance to the tram and bus lines. It also has a nice park in front of the hotel. The hotel room was clean and bed linens and towels clean and fresh. Breakfast offers a nice spread of continental and Finnish foods. Everything was fresh and delicious.

The transportation from the zoo to the resort is unclear; those using public transport can only take taxis to the park and also to the bus station, otherwise it's very inconvenient. The staff were all very friendly and professional. Upon check-in, we found the room wasn't cleaned properly, but the staff quickly addressed the issue.

The hotel facilities are new and clean, but it is difficult to get there by public transportation. There is less light pollution at night, and we are lucky enough to see the aurora. It is recommended to drive there by yourself. 

The hotel is located far from the city, about an hour's drive away. Although it is a bit far away, the aurora borealis exploded in this hotel. We stayed in a glass house and the aurora was all around us. It was very fun. The only downside is that the hotel doesn't have a TV. But I highly recommend this hotel mainly for chasing the aurora and self-driving.

The location of this hotel is good, can walk to the port going to Tallinn, the staff are nice , allow us late check out

Dead-end locations like corners and sofa gaps are filled with dust and hair. Shower head disattach from hose, but was fixed quickly upon request.

The best studio in town. Breakfast have limited but so far okay. Hope there is an improvement for the next trip.

The hotel can be found easily by the main road and is very close to the lake on the opposite side of the main street and shopping area. The room was spacious on the top floor. There were two toilets in the room. Windows could be opened which was good compared to other hotels we have stayed in Finland during this summer. There was also a fan to help with the airflow. Furniture in the rooms are quite dated. Had two shower/bathrooms in my room. Still do not understand why. Breakfest was good and the location is great.

Perfect resort for a family getaway. Young kids will love this place — snow play is everywhere, and there are gentle slopes ideal for beginners to sled. Rooms are smaller than usual, which is understandable for a resort focused on children’s activities. Overall, a fun and family-friendly stay.

Cozy hotel in the middle of the woods. Great place for viewing the northern lights if the skies are clear. The hotel staff even arranges for warm beverages and midnight snacks. We got to see them for both the nights that we stayed here! The experience was surreal and out of this world!!

The location is convenient, in the city center, close to the train station. The only inconvenience is that the elevator was operating at a limited time when leaving.

People and pet friendly, close walk to Joensuu tori (open market), restaurants, shopping mall, businesses, arts, river walk/park. Indoor, secure, warm car parking are, and quality breakfast buffet. Economical, excellent quality, and services.

The room is simple and comfortable, the environment is clean, it is located in the city center, the surrounding is quite lively, there is a supermarket which is very convenient, the scenery outside the window is also very good, and the check-out was delayed.

The hotel service is very good, there are several bicycles that can be used for free, there is free coffee and tea in the lobby after ten in the morning, and pets are allowed.

A good basic hotel, nothing to miss, but it didn't offer anything amazing either. Breakfast good, not extensive but included everything needed. Overall a 4/5 experience.

Parking is perfect, only a few metres from the Reception. There is an inclusive buffet in the evening, light salad and two hot dishes with vegetables, perfect light healthy meal. Didn't get chance to try the breakfast as I left too early. It's 12 mins from the Airport which opens at 04:30,

Mediocre bed The service and the staff was excellent but the bed was not good. I stayed in a room with a large single bed so hopefully double rooms are more comfortable.

Friendly, clean and quite modern hotel, nice bonus is dinner free of charge. Not exactly in the center of Vaasa, but travelling OK with car, taxi or public transportation.

No AC, hot! It´s an old hotel without AC. The room was so warm that it was hard to sleep at night. No room cleaning during the weekend. Parking and breakfast was very good. The personnel was friendly and helpfull.

Hot! The location was good for us and the beds were reasonably comfortable. Even though it wasn't particularly hot outside the room was very hot (as were the corridors) and as the radiator was on in the shower room (with no way to control it) it was incredibly hot in there.

This is a former Olympic training center now used by local youth as a full time training facility so there's a LOT of kids and families staying here but everyone was polite and well behaved. There was no nonsense. There are two food facilities on site - a snack bar that has sandwiches, burgers and snacks and the cafeteria used to feed the athletes and provide the free breakfast. Very friendly staff who are excellently capable of speaking English. The rooms are very clean en we have everything we need in the rooms. The food here was great! Breakfast and diner buffet. The hotel is not far from Ravaniemi, I think it's a 20 minute walk.

Not for hot summers. Lack of AC made this room hot. In the rooms there is a fan and we, as many others had it in the window to push in fresh air during the night. But there was a lot of cars playing music on full volume so we woke up now and then. A refrigerator in the room would have been nice to have something cold to drink

Good value for money Last minute trip to Alands. Hotel poses good value for money compared to others on island. Some parts of hotel are in need of refurbishment. We received a free upgrade and room was nice. Did the job for a one night stay.

It is quiet ja peacefull. No bars or nightclubs. Airconditioning was the best!

We stayed only one night but it was very pleasant, the room was comfortable and clean. I think it was a nice touch that each room was dedicated to a soldier. We particularly liked the location and it's next to a great pizza place for lunch or dinner.

We have 4 beds camping summer house. Located just next to the lake. Beautiful. The house has two bunk beds. So it's really only for kids. Refrigerator, microwave and some cupboards in the house. The beds' size are smaller. One of the upstairs bed is much smaller. The house is clean. We rent the bedsheets and towels for €13 pp. There are some spots we can swim on the lake. A car can be parked easily...
