Overall the stay was good..the location was nice..however, the room. There were no bathroom mats provided..the beds were not very comfortable. Breakfast timings for the weekends was mentioned as 7am - 10.30am across all gear communication..however, when checked they informed its until 10am on all days..

The hotel is conveniently close to Helsinki Central Station. The room only had towels, a hairdryer, and an electric kettle. I saw a review mentioning that the front desk would heat up food if you asked, as there's no microwave, so I tried, but they couldn't do it. I guess the only good thing about this place is its location.

We spent 4 days here, and the facilities are well-maintained and clean. It's quite well-located, and we absolutely loved the hotel and the very attentive staff! The lady at reception was lovely and even taught us a few Finnish words. The only small drawback I'd mention is that the breakfast was a bit cold, but other than that, I'm delighted! 🥰

Great location - close to Arktikum, super friendly staff.

The location is good, very close to the city center, but the room was not cleaned and the trash wasn't emptied. The air conditioning inexplicably stopped working, which caused all the food we bought to spoil. Also, there were small cockroaches scurrying around the room, which was a bit gross. Other than that, everything else was pretty satisfactory.

While it might be due to the season, I felt the hotel's quality didn't match its price. There's no elevator, so I had to carry my heavy suitcase up. The room was small, and I could constantly hear conversations from the next room. If I stay in Rovaniemi again, I'll pay a bit more for a different hotel.

Love The hotels conveniently in the middle of the city and close to everything. Big minus is that we have to pay for parking which is not on the location. Staffs were really friendly and the breakfast staff took my daughter allergy really into consideration and took the effort to make sure everything was great.

Rooms rather shabby. Location fine if you want to stay in the centre of Pori but a taxi to the rail station.

Very nice staff!, very welcoming and if you needed anything they were a big help. Rooms were very light. Two bathrooms are practical, especially for families. You can park in the garage (15€/day) but it is often full in the afternoon/evening. Outside there are enough 24h parking lots. Windows can't be opened, therefore you have an A/C. The hotel is absolutely great!! 😁 Online booking was smoothly, check in was fast. The people at reception was friendly and helpful. Rooms are perfect, all necessary elements were there for several days: towels, tv, air conditioning, coffee, etc. No safe however. Rooms are distributed in two buildings, connection underground. The drying rack was very useful during the winter season. It helped dry the clothes that got wet when we played in the snow. Service staff were very friendly and nice too!

I'm so happy because our room is very clean.Especially, there is a bathtub in our room, we were so happy:) We wanna book again if we come back. But we just hope that we can watch Netflix or YouTube on the TV. We hope just about it!

The family room was very nice, but the fifth person was considered an extra bed and slept on a sofa. The hotel ground floor was great for watching the Northern Lights, and we saw them that night. There seemed to be a sauna in the bathroom, but we didn't try it as we didn't know how to use it. The hotel breakfast was an English breakfast, and the hotel entrance offered views of the ski resort.

Everything was absolutely wonderful.

Wonderful location, very clean but few amenities and oddly laid out: room 511 was on the second floor and took a labyrinthine path to find it. Pool hours limited and “double bed” means 2 twins jammed together. other than that, a comfortable stay in a lovely locale.

The room is clean and well-equipped with coffee, tea bags, a kettle and a microwave. The bathroom is also very nice. There is free parking not far downstairs. The front desk will send the door password, which is the same as the room password.

good place if you want a cheap night in turku. i booked a place via booking, they changed my arrival dates free of charge. impeccable cleanliness, but the interior can be refreshed. good contact with the hotel.

Good hotel in town and is actually better than pictures. Comes with breakfast too and the staff kindly gave us breakfast boxes for those who can’t make it for breakfast. They also kindly told us where to go to see northern lights and we managed to spot it during our one night’s stay!

Weird experience Extremely rude receptionist at the desk when I arrived to check in after a long day of travelling. Overall left me with a very baffled feeling, since everything else in the hotel was good or even excellent. Also amazingly good breakfast.

Original Sokos Hotel Royal is situated at the center of Vaasa. The downside is very limited availability of free parking (i.e. none), upside is a central location from everywhere, including the train station. Parking in a heated carage below is available, but 20€/nigh (1.1.2026 onwards) starts to hurt and if paying oneself, it is simply too much. Outside of winter, might as well leave the car on the...

Service bad, otherwise nice First a room with baby bed and sofa made to a bed, then a handicapped room. Was not in a mood for a fight, but that combined with not hearing one sorry or apology was not even worth three stars.

Parking is perfect, only a few metres from the Reception. There is an inclusive buffet in the evening, light salad and two hot dishes with vegetables, perfect light healthy meal. Didn't get chance to try the breakfast as I left too early. It's 12 mins from the Airport which opens at 04:30,

Mediocre bed The service and the staff was excellent but the bed was not good. I stayed in a room with a large single bed so hopefully double rooms are more comfortable.

Very good for overnight stay. This hotel has a nice restaurant, you may heat your own food, and eat there. Breakfast is good too. Parking in front of the door is superb.

Amado Pori Hotellissa todennäköisesti oli tilaa, mutta saimme huoneen, jonka näkymä oli n. 20m päässä oleva kivitalon seinä. Toisellapuolella olisi ollut miellyttävä puistonäkymä. WC/suikutilassa erittäin kankeasti toimivat hanat. Bide-suikun puuttuminen tänä päivänä iso miinus. Varustelu siinä erittäin vanhaa. Henkilöjunta ystävällistä.

Hotel is located on a beautiful lake and quite close to the supermarket. The staff were friendly and the room was fine for a basic room, but could have been cleaner. The spa however needs some work, as it is quite worn, especially the shower area. Pizza was great and restaurant staff wonderful.

No AC in rooms, a bit dated but over all good experience. Spa access is included for both check in and check out days. Spa access costs 16e but they have a summer lunch combo for 25 that includes the buffet and spa access.

We arrived here to do some hicking. This hotel is near the Nuuksio park and well situated to do some nice walks. We were at the end of the season and diner options were small. The room was oke but we had to take care for getting clean towels. There is a very nice swimming pool.

the hotel is very nicely located in the peace and quiet of nature. there is a little lake nearby and it’s a good starting point for hikes. Though the hotel has a bit the vibes of a youth hostel we liked staying there with four adults.

In a city where accommodation is routinely expensive, Hiisi Hotel Turku Seaport is a relief. It is able to offer the prices it does by having no staff (other than housekeeping). And even with housekeeping there is no servicing of your room during your stay. There are a couple of microwaves and a kettle in the “kitchen” which was handy.

Perfect place to crash for the night if you have a ferry to catch next morning. Place itself was lacking basic cleanliness, bathroom was stinking and we had to clean ourselves.

The hotel is fantastically placed for using Viking Line ferries. Turku Port railway station is also less than 1 minute walk away. There are no staff at the hotel. You can only gain access to the hotel and your room with a code. Before you arrive at the hotel make sure you are in possession of the code as there are no staff there the let you in it assist you

we have a comfortable stay. The room is spacious, including attachments private sauna room which is inside the toilet. We have to preheat the room for about 40 minutes prior to enjoy the sauna. There are some shopping center and super market near the hotel within 10 to 15 minutes walk depending your foot power.

I think it was a fantastic hotel for the price. However, the doors were thin, so you could hear everything from the hallway, and the initial check-in process was very confusing; having to press the intercom was a drawback.

Perfect location, good views from the 5th floor, clean, warm even in severe frosts, a contrast to the snow piled up on the windowsill. It's a beautiful element that brings back childhood memories. I appreciate it.

They were very kind and accommodating even though I arrived late at night due to a flight delay. Although it was a single room, it was spacious and clean, and I could see Helsinki Cathedral from my window. This is a hotel I would like to stay at again.
