Batumi is a beautiful city and well worth visiting, and Hotel Old Town was way above and beyond our expectations. The location is perfect, staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating and were exemplary in their hospitality. The hotel has a great location, right near the beach, with plenty of convenience stores downstairs. Getting to the airport, train station, and bus station by taxi is very convenient. A friendly reminder: the bus to Tbilisi takes 6-7 hours and only stops once.

Nice big room, space enough also in the bathroom. Only 2 minor points to mention were the power sockets, you needed an adapter, which the reception brought to us, so that's excellent service.But the only normal socket had a problem if I plugged my phone charger, it didn't charge, you would have to hold it in a specific way. The fastest check in experience ever. The guy at the reception was super cool and super prompt and gave us the best deal. Loved the room and the general behavior and non frills check in even when we came in without a reservation at midnight.
