My 4-day stay at the London Hotel in Batumi was a disaster. The lack of basic amenities was shocking - no bidet or proper toilet facilities (shattaf) was a major letdown. But that wasn't even the worst part. One day, the toilets were completely without water, making an already unpleasant experience even more unbearable.
What really took the frustration to a new level was the unhelpful staff. When I brought this to their attention, they seemed completely unbothered and unresponsive. No effort was made to rectify the situation or even offer an apology.
Unless you're looking for a frustrating experience, I'd strongly advise against staying at the London Hotel. There are far better options in Batumi that actually care about their guests' comfort and well-being.
Street are small so parking is an issue.
Breakfast was okay. Limited options for vegan people.
You will anoy the desk stuff, they will get angry and yell at you, move to another place, Georgia is full of nice places and charming people.
The room is big and comfortable but not maintained which is really sad because it build and planed nice. You can see in the attached pictures there is rust in the shower, the toilet cover need to be fixed.
We arrived early 06:00 am after we send a message and get an approval.
The guy at the desk was really upset by our arrival and keep asking if we are sure the hotel knows about our arrival.
When I asked for a towel he said only 4 hours from now - at 10:00, I insist, he gets more upset...
I thought ok, he was tired... But after the next shift guy was even less friendly, we decide its not our place.
