A well deserved 5 star review! We stayed at the Flemings hotel in front of the main train station, and we loved it so much, than on our second trip into Munich, we stayed there again

Somewhat noisy as it is near the main station which is still under construction, but overall is good for the price given.

Highly recommend for those looking for proximity to the city center at a not very expensive price

My only complaint about the room is the lighting in the bathroom is quite dim so shaving was more challenging than usual, but other than that, the room was great and all of the staff was very nice and helpful

We had an excellent stay at Flemings Hotel Munich. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to both the main train and bus stations, making travel super easy. The staff were all very friendly and helpful

It is convenient to the central station, underground, and tram services, and it is about a 10 minute walk from the old town

I wasn’t expecting a balcony in the room, so that was a nice surprise. The view from it wasn’t anything special, but it was perfectly fine. The room itself was very large

The kitchen came with all the cookware and utensils you could possibly need — I didn’t actually use them, but everything was neatly arranged and spotlessly clean

Environment: The subway station is not far away, and it's very convenient to take one subway stop to the high-speed rail station. There's a bakery next to the hotel, and German bread is delicious, exceeding expectations

There were also plenty of seating options inside: bar chairs, a sofa, an office chair, and even outdoor seating on the balcony

Nice facilities, a bit of a walk to the old town but acceptable.  They only clean your room every three days, that wasn’t what I was expecting.

The Mandarin Oriental never disappoints, and its service is particularly outstanding. From the front desk to the restaurants, housekeeping, and concierge, every aspect is impeccable; feeling at home is a true experience

There's a bakery downstairs that opened in 1703—the prezels with butter are absolutely delicious! The Barn café on the corner is great and very popular in Berlin

The hotel is in a great location and the service is great. Unfortunately, the terrace bar was not open due to the rain.

Breakfast eggs not delivered as ordered and were on the rubbery side. Disappointing.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the location was excellent too, only a short walk away from the town centre. Would absolutely recommend this hotel, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here or in another branch again!

The only negative point was that the room was very small, and the bathroom was extremely small, to the point that the door had to be kept open. A big positive was that they offered free water whenever you wanted

Hotel is nice but water heater wasn’t working for 2 nights which was a damper.

My husband and I spent 4 days at this hotel: really nice bar and lounge, comfortable and modern room, strategic position very close to the main squares of Munich where you can take any kind of public transport

People on duty very efficient, kind, specially Ivan. The night rate was about 84 per room without breakfast, so quite good

It is a family hotel style with good staff specifically the reception laddy called "Sally". She is friendly with good client orientation skills

Extremely close to Munich Central Station, which is super convenient. The interior is very clean and pretty standard, nothing to complain about. The breakfast should score quite well.

I took the subway to the hotel after the exhibition, stayed one night, and then took the train to Austria. The hotel was within walking distance of the central train station

The beds were large, although the breakfast was relatively simple. The staff were exceptionally friendly

This hotel is super close, only about a 5-minute walk from Munich Central Station. The hotel itself is a bit older, but it's very well-maintained and clean

Breakfast was delicious, the staff were friendly and very efficient, but do like you to use the correct cups an espresso cup is not considered proper to collect milk for your tea! Lovely yogurts, muesli, pastries and hot food everything you could wish for

I recently stayed at the Leonardo Hotel in Munich’s city center and while the staff were truly wonderful—friendly, attentive, and eager to help—the accommodations left much to be desired

The service was good and the environment was okay, but the bedding in our room wasn't changed. When I touched it, it didn't feel like the usual crisp, laundered hotel sheets

City centre hotel which won't cost fortune, great breakfast, very nice staff, close to all attractions and train station.

3 minutes from main railway station, it has its advantages and drawbacks: very convenient to travel with luggage, but surroundings are far from romantic (a lot of migrants around and the environment doesn't feel very safe)

Staff was fabulous and location was ideal…short tram ride to Oktoberfest. The AC still needs work and this could have been solved with a fan. We could walk to Matienplstz and plenty of dining nearby

Excellent location for seeing old Munich. Check in was fast and efficient. All the staff were really welcoming and friendly. Nice to have breakfast and minibar included, lattes and cappuccinos were terrific

The air conditioning was weak and didn’t get close to the set point temp. This is my only complaint, otherwise great experience.

The staff was fabulous! Jerry made the s feel very welcome and escorted us to the room. The hotel was clean…except for the ugly brown shag carpet that looks like it’s been around since the 70s

The staff attempted to bring up something that resembles a dehumidifier but they would have had to run a pipe out the window and due to the dampness they cannot sleep with open windows

The rooms need a mini-split and a fan! Loved the stocked fridge. Breakfast was too pricey for us (30€)so we made our way through the market and found coffee and pastries/breakfast

Excellent staff and very well appointed hotel. Not the most upmarket part of town but close to central station. No kettle in rooms but instant coffee available 24/7 in common room.

I just have one question: I thought I would get a free drink in exchange for skipping housekeeping, but it seems the staff didn’t mention anything about that at all

Excellent hotel! Friendly management! The breakfast was delicious and varied, and the coffee was made to order. We received a free room upgrade upon check-in, which was a nice touch.

The rooms are tiny, the bathroom is tiny, they provide 2 towels only and the toiletry if of the cheapest kind. The bed head board is falling apart (see pic), but the rooms are comfy and clean

Perfect location, an easy 5 minute walk from Marienplatz and close to the other central venues. Very friendly welcome with clean, tidy rooms. We had a powerful fixed shower (in bath) and TV has many, many channels

This is by far I really luxurious four star hotel as far as basic necessities go which to me is location, comfortable bed, good air conditioning, clean room, and people that work at a place that really wanna be helpful and make you feel comfortable and this hotel had it all The breakfast was very good everybody at the hotel couldn’t have been nicer

I like everything here, it’s quiet, nice room, nice view, but some small things are a little bit run down, like the lift that looks a bit old, and the rain shower in the room doesn’t really want to work

The room is small, but it's in the city center with convenient transportation. For over 3,000 yuan, even the cleanliness is poorly maintained

There's no doorbell, so I often hear knocks on the door

The hotel exceeded expectations. Fruits and snacks were given as gifts when checking in. Soft drinks in the minibar were free. The front desk service was also very warm! The bathroom in the room had floor heating

Hotel was ok. About 25 mins walk from the centre. Room very small and bathroom was unclean. Shower doors also didn’t really work so water went everywhere. A cheap option

Location near to bus station, in front of a good shopping mall and supermarkets. Room was ok, but tv and furniture already old. Checking is after 16:00 but they allowed me to do it iearlier

The water in the toilet kept running. Even after reporting the problem, it couldn't be repaired due to the late hour. It was extremely noisy and I didn't get a good night's rest

The hotel is conveniently located about a 5-7 minute walk from the U-Bahn. If you walk a little further, there's also a tram stop. It's within walking distance of all the attractions in the Old Town

The garage is tricky to find yet the staff was very helpful! Caution the garage is only ok for vehicles up to 2t!!!! (but even there the staff was helpful and the house not being full due to COVID helped

My stay at the Munich Art Hotel was absolutely fantastic! The decor is very stylish and there are many artworks adorning the hotel. The location is incredibly convenient, being right next to Munich Central Station

We felt safe walking to the hotel during usual times (before 10 pm) heading north and on the main street toward the town center. Would stay here again next time in Munich

However, there are at least one strip club /night club nearby and there seem to be many central Asia immigrants around the area, so may not be convenient for single person or those with family

We also enjoyed 2 restaurants very close to the hotel - Altmunchner Gesellenhaus on Adolf-Kolping Strasse and Schiller Brau - at 23 Schiller Strasse. Both had excellent food and service

It's not a recently renovated property (if you're looking for sparkly floors and flawless walls) but everything works perfectly well and its clean. Staff was nice and helpful, overall a nice experience😃
