The location was perfect, just minutes away by foot to Marienplatz. The room was extremely clean and the people at the desk were very friendly and helpful

Service was great! The breakfast selection was nice and the room came with drinks that were topped up daily

Really appreciated the fact that they could arrange for breakfast to be packed before the official breakfast start time which was very useful on days when there were early trains to catch

We chose a hotel in the old town of Munich for our two days. All the attractions were within walking distance. The hotel was not large, but it was quiet. For our family trip, the other double room was spacious enough

My room was small, but perfect for one person (maybe two). Nice and clean with all the amenities needed. Budget breakfast was delicious with many options. Within walking distance to many attractions

Room was very clean and convenient to the Munich HBF train station, tram, U and S lines as well as old town. The Blue Bus/Hop On Hop Off buses were also convenient The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful

Hotel is 5-10 min walking distance from the main station. Clean and large rooms. However the precise location is not the best for female solo traveller as there are suspicious walk aeounds in the night around the hotel.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Alpen Hotel! From check-in to check-out, everything was perfect. The rooms are a great size, breakfast was delicious, and the interior of the hotel is fresh and modern

Picked the Alpen Hotel as it was near to the Main station, as I was using an Inter-Rail pass for day trips on the train, the Hotel was better than I though, so served me perfectly

I was lucky enough to get a cheap room, so I was very satisfied, but the regular price is a bit high. but Germany is expensive, so I guess that can't be helped

Favorite hotel in Munich by far. Great concept - rooms are small but incredibly efficient use of space makes it seem less so. Perfect location.

This stylish hotel is conveniently located in front of the station. It was nice that they had a sauna on the terrace where you could even enjoy some outdoor air

It is a small, quiet hotel, that is far more comfortable and as more amenities than one would guess by its size. The staff is efficient, friendly, and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and exceptionally clean.

Fair hotel in Munich city centre, close to everything and away from there quickly you can reach U-Bahn... Parking is free, two blocks from the hotel in a parking garage. Breakfast buffet is plentiful, fresh, fair.

The location is super convenient! There's a tram stop right across the street, and the East Station is just a three-minute walk away, making it quick and easy to get to the airport or anywhere else

A conveniently located, good value, quiet hotel just outside Munich's old town, with close proximity to the train, tram, and car rental companies. Whilst the rooms have a more classic decor, they are well maintained

We stayed for one night, personal was very nice also location near main station and 15 minutes walk to city center. Just in room kitchen were some leftovers inside and not cleaned rest of the room was clean and nice

Ventilation is fine in the autumn/winter but is generally best assisted by opening up the balcony window, which does open the room up to some street noise

The hotel is in a great location near the main train station. We had a room facing the back. At night, we couldn't hear any street noise

In the evenings and mornings, there was a strong smell of doner kebab from the many doner shops nearby. We were there for a football match, and it was perfect for that

Nice place, good location, few doors down you can get a killer kebab. There's a nearby supermarkeylt called REWE which was handy.

Plus It was a pleasant stay, hotel staffs were friendly and they explained what I would need upon check-in. Clean and pretty close to the Munchen Central Station, and easy to access everywhere

Stayed in Cocoon Stachus first week of December. Room was quiet, facing the backyard. Spotless clean, bright and comfy. Absolutely loved the swing in the room

Central but minimum service at the hotel

It was great, however the noise of the bahn were noisy.

You have to use quite a bit of force to lock the door, and the hair dryer had burned out with no replacement available. The location is very convenient, though it can be a bit noisy at night.

The only downside is the tram noise, which is really loud, but it quietens down in the early morning and at night. I'm a light sleeper, but honestly, I slept well

It's truly basic, but considering the location, cleanliness, and facilities, it's excellent. The price is also pretty good for this condition

The front desk staff were also very warm and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the German guests weren't as aloof as I'd heard; everyone was quite friendly and helpful

Plus, the subway is right next door. The breakfast was very clean and tasty; although the variety wasn't extensive, it had most of the items you'd expect from a Western buffet

Overall, this hotel is a great option for solo travellers or short stays in Munich, especially if you want to be close to public transport and the city centre. I would happily stay here again

Right across from the train station, which is super convenient, and also very close to St. Mary's Square. The room was a bit small, but the breakfast was good.

The room is tiny, but it's enough for one person. The shower is especially small. The soundproofing isn't great. They offer free luggage storage. Breakfast is a standard German white bread meal – nothing special

The most central place in Munich. You can walk to all the must-visit attractions in Munich. It is a 3-minute walk from Munich Central Square. There are various open-air bars downstairs. Parking is also very convenient.

The beds were not what we are used to in the Untied States, and it was a shared bathroom on a separate floor. But that's because I am cheap and came for the experience, not the in-room shower

There was a sink in the bedroom, and that helped a lot. Overall, definitely consider staying here. Just minutes to Marienplatz and the Glochenspiel!

Great service staff, very friendly and helpful. Great location, close to the Xmas market and numerous dining spots. Hallway carpets look rough but the rest of the interiors were like new

I was attending an exposition and needed to upload and post a significant amount of video content to social media, and the low Wi-Fi performance made this difficult

Modern Hotel, just two steps from the centre and metres of clean rooms and decent good breakfast convenient parking

We enjoyed our 2 nights at Prinz. The rooms comfortable, clean, modern, with 2 free beers, soda and Haribo. It is very quite,, you don't feel you are near city center of a big city

We spent 6 days at this Hotel. It's located 20-minute walk from the downtown area. The breakfast is good and bedroom is quite wide and comfortable. No complains.

If staying during warm months no AC and road a bit noisy when windows open

Located along a river with a small forest and a big park nearby, which is nice for jogging or walking. Airport is reachable by train in about half hour, with a station just 10 minutes walking distance from hotel

It’s my second time staying at Hotel Munich Deluxe (both times in the annex). It seems like they have an issue with their ventilation or plumbing

Without any signs or instructions, I initially had trouble finding it and wandered around outside the door several times. I spoke to three front desk staff members. The two men were unhelpful and disengaged

The woman was very helpful and provided some directions and explanations. The TV had Netflix and Disney channels, and the free Wi-Fi was reasonably fast. There was a wide variety, and the milk was fragrant

WONDERFUL POSITION Very close to Oktoberfest area, public transportation. Rooms are alittle small but doesn’t make much problem. It was my second time staying there and won’t be the last 😉

It was not bad, but the room was small overall because it was in a historic building in a central area. The hotel is conveniently located, and the breakfast was elegant, but it was all cold

I had high expectations based on the high ratings. When I checked in, I felt the receptionist, a white man at the front desk, was polite but a bit cold

The room I was assigned faced the Handshake Building across the street. I politely requested a change and was given a top-floor room

Yet, the amenities of the hotel are not on par with the convenient location. The room was very small, to the degree that there was not enough space for the hotel to include a bathroom inside of the room

Instead, a toilet was installed near the entrance door to the room along with a sink and a hairdryer, and a shower unit was positioned in the middle of the room next to the bed

There were a few broken light fixtures in our room. The elevator is too small 4 people with luggage. Twin beds as can be seen in the photo

The hotel is rated as a 3-Star hotel and prices accordingly, though it leans closer to a 2-Star standard

Sometimes I wonder what reviewers are expecting from a budget hotel. Some of the comments posted by previous guests just didn’t align with my experience. The room was clean, the bed comfortable with clean bedding

The bathroom was clean with plenty of hot water with good pressure. The breakfast provided is great. Yes, the surrounding area does contain a few strip joints but no one bothered us and we never felt threatened

The rooms are small but large enough for two for a short stay. The Belle Blue is great value for the price and only a few blocks from the main railway station
