The location is fantastic - practically across the road from the train station, yet on a quiet side street, which was lovely as the room was very peaceful. I knew beforehand from reviews that one of the buildings doesn't have an elevator, so the steep stairs might be an issue for some. Another thing to note: if you want your room cleaned (or even just the trash emptied), you need to specifically request it at the front desk. The breakfasts are delicious (you can order an omelet with any additions).

If I may make one comment, there was some black dirt in the seams of the bathtub in the (very small) bathroom (I don't know if it was mold).
The lighting in the room was dim, so you could either charge your phone on the bedside table or use the table lamp, but not both.
The reserved parking space turned out not to be behind a gate on Domstrasse, as in previous years, but a very small spot behind the hotel that was accessible to everyone from outside, with the car's rear facing the road.
We've been coming to Domspitzen for years, but this was the first time we noticed it. Otherwise, it was fantastic. The food is always top-notch 👍

Nice hotel, the breakfast is excellent! It's close to the train station, a good hotel overall.

It's very close to Central Station and Cologne Cathedral. There's also a Chinese restaurant downstairs. The room was nice, with a tub and separate shower and toilet. The staff were also very kind and welcoming.

A somewhat dated hotel in a great downtown location. Relatively small rooms. A very generous breakfast buffet. Attentive service. Ideal for a city trip.

The breakfast area was not large, but there was a wide variety of food and it was delicious. I also really liked how the menu changed little by little so that I wouldn't get bored even if I stayed for several nights.
