Rhythmic gymnastics team arrived for a competition on Friday. We occupy the hotel for two nights. There are 14 of us and they offer us 2 rooms in the hotel and 5 rooms on the ground floor (motel type). Good breakfast at 13 euros per person, both sweet and savory with renewal of products as soon as they run out.
It was a nice hotel, inexpensive, and easily accessible to the city. It was clean, too, and the bed was incredibly comfortable!
Everything was uncomplicated. Clean, friendly staff. Highly recommended.
A rooster crows in the morning - I immediately felt like I was at home in the country 😀
The area around the hotel is very beautiful, we were really thankful for visiting that side of the city due to our stay in the hotel. The hotel was also nice and clean and beds were comfy. I would definitely choose it again!
4×4 stars and 1×3 stars:
I would stay there again.

All OK. Hotel is a bit old fashioned, carpet on the floor, but OK. U-bahn takes handy to city center or to Exhibition Center. Basic breakfast, no lobby bar anymore or possibility for dinner in the evening. Surrounding area is quiet. Excellent wine store around the corner.
Check in Box a little complicated, otherwise a very nice hotel we can totally recommend. Very friendly personel, very good parking lot and rooms were pretty okay too. Just the price is too high.
The Hotel is Small but have a good Parking and nice breakfast.Clean Rooms and Friendly Staff. The Wifi is free and the Situation is a bit far from Citycenter but with 5 minutes Walk to can get a Tram12 and go directly to Citycenter and Konigsalle.also the same for Coemback to Hotel.
We found hotel Astra suites our budget. The hotel is 4 km from the city center. The location is accross the park, is very quiet place. Free parking, is an option for people with car. I don't think public transport stop nearby, but this was ideal for us which we prefer in a quiet place A guy in the office who help us during check in is very friendly and accommodating. The hotel lobby is very cozy small...
Excellent place to stay, u bahn round the corner to get into the centre and very quiet. Breakfast great, just feel sorry for the staff that not many people used it when I was there. Definite recommendation!

I had requested a quiet room upon check-in and asked if I could extend my stay by one day. Upon entering the room, there was a considerable amount of noise coming from outside due to construction going on across the street. I wanted to cancel the extension, but the hotel management refused. It was outside noise, and they couldn't do anything about it. They said a room at the front would also generate...
What a pleasure it was to stay at this hotel. I was a bit skeptical at first , as I lived in Düsseldorf for a long time and used to know the original old Breidenbacher Hof very well. But I was impressed and happy , the minute we walked in . This hotel is run with precision , care and professional hospitality attitude ! While the city center of Düsseldorf , especially the Alt Stadt, is clearly suffering...
This hotel is an absolute gem! I stayed here during my trip to Düsseldorf, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. The service was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had a fantastic stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Düsseldorf.
It's very hard these days to find a high quality hotel that also feels special. Most 5 star hotels today are owned by a few holding companies and have the same modern but cheap and impersonal aesthetic. Breidenbacher, however, brings me back to the days when going to a hotel felt special, with great service, great amenities and location. Would highly recommend and would definitely go back.
Perfect
The most satisfying hotel I stayed in during my trip to Europe
Completely worth the price
Great value for money
I will stay here again next time

This hotel is at perfect location. Very clean and loyal staffs.
Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy to access from the airport.
Fantastic hotel. Staff are so kind. Room cleaned daily and were spotless. Great location for shopping. We were there for Christmas Markets. Perfect!!! We will go back.
very old 4 star hotel, sound isolation is a joke.i cant even find the do not disturb sign in the room! but a single bed room i booked in the same day i arrived costs only around 34euro/night. great location by the way.
Possibly to have Continental/Japanese/German/ breakfast.
Especially JP breakfast is offer Miso soup, Natto, Shimesaba and rice every morning.
Free WIFI is not belong to hotel. Need to select " telecom " then, click start by own devices.
Then, the hotel located near by typical Japanese district " Immerman Strasse ". You can find so many JP cuisine. ( Ramen, Tempura, Soba, washoku )
Good location, nice rooms, professional staff. A bit pricey for the non-A/c rooms and breakfast though.

If this room cost over $150usd a night I can't recommend it. Probably the worst pillows I have encountered in 26 years of travel. I paid $575usd a night. So, they have no problem price gouging you.
The location is good and the staff is friendly.
Friendly receptionist at the check-in, willing to take her time to explain everything. Wifi provided, public transport cards were provided(entrance to Metro is less then 100metres), room looked clean and cozy.
A somewhat dated hotel.
Everything was fine, and the service was very good and friendly. However, the carpeted rooms are outdated and, in my opinion, not very hygienic. A breakfast room in the basement is also unappealing. The lack of a bar is a shame.
This is a small and in my opinion cozy hotel. The location is excellent. I stayed four nights and slept very well. The bathroom was spacious and had a bathtub! My room was on the top floor, but there is no elevator. When I arrived at the hotel, there was a nice guy at the reception who told me the most important things. He was really friendly and helpful. Very good Breakfast very clear and close to dusseldrof central train station also very good location
Staff is very helpful and kind, the breakfast is so tasty, this is a peaceful and quite hotel, near the Hofgarten, in the mornings you can go walking after breakfast. The location is also very good.Thank you so much for everything 🙂💯
My reservation was for one night. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. There were many restaurants around, and it was only a 2-minute walk to the bus station. The only downside was that there was no elevator, but they agreed to keep the luggage at the reception, so I only took the needed items.
Low cost hotel in walking distance to Central Station. Its a B&B and there are plenty of restaurants and take aways in the neighbourhood. Extremeley clean and the friendly service is exceptional. You walk around 10 minutes to the station.

Parking and space for offloading is very limited.
Reception was not open when we arrived: More like an 'aparthotel'.
Walkable to the centre and close to Parkland and a large supermarket.
Great price which matches the limited facilities.
It's okay
Hotel is okay for the price. Walls very thin so very noisy. Tiny room on top floor but it served its purpose. Oh and the shower floods the bathroom if you're not carefull
Optimally designed for those who come for business, such as exhibitions or conferences. In short, a good hotel and convenient location close to public transport. The main thing is the price-quality ratio, it is one of the best here
We had a room at first floor, near Breakfast room. The room was nice, very high ceilings and you see, that it’s really old house, but it’s interesting. Location to center could be little bit better.
Only 15 minutes from old town city centre 👌

Breakfast was just okay, the location was decent, and the room was quite spacious.
It was so good, the staff is friendly
The hotel offers everything you need. It's about a 20-minute journey to the city center, and the hotel is well-connected. The breakfast could be improved. The bathroom was adequately clean, and ultimately, we were satisfied.
The facilities are a bit old, and it's about a kilometer from the subway station. The room itself is quite spacious, and while the breakfast selection isn't huge, it tastes decent. The room key is an old-fashioned, large brass key. 🔑
The hotel was great. And breakfast was very good. Staff were helpful and friendly. Would recommend hotel anytime
This hotel offers great value for money, it's very affordable with free parking. It's an older apartment, so no breakfast or room service. Overall, I'm satisfied. It has a balcony with a view of the German countryside. Supermarkets and gas stations are all a short drive away.

An interesting hotel concept without a traditional reception – everything is done through a self-service machine where you register for your stay. The check-in process is simple and modern. The hotel has one or two restaurants, and they are quite good – all compliments for the food and service.
The hotel is located across from a gas station. To reach the city center, I recommend taking the tram, although...
My stay there was very good and it was comfortable. The only that I didn’t like was kinda the location because there were many drunk people either from the concert near by or because of halloween.
Everything was super easy with the digital check in etc. only the mattress was a bit too soft
Very good, great value for money
I recommend! great helpline service :)
A hotel without a front desk, very cheap, the front desk requires self-registration, which is more troublesome for older people. You need to register your name, passport and email address by yourself, and then you will receive an email a few minutes later with a digital password to open the door. Then you go to the door of the room and enter the password, and then the door will open, but this password...

The location is good if you're going to an event in Mitsubishi Electric Hall, overall it's 15 mins from central railway station, 3 mins from Aldi and also the tram station is very close
What's not so good is the lack of amenities, it's practically nothing apart from shower gel
No slippers, toothbrush or hygiene kit
Excellent hotel with a touch of art and aesthetics with good taste for colours and styles . My room was very cosy , with several elegant pieces of Buddhist art and from Far East . Good location to the Music Halle if you are going to a show. Fairly quiet area. No elevator and stairs were steep and narrow so that makes heavy luggage an issue. We had a lovely stay in this hotel for my 21st birthday. The housekeeping staff even added the addition of some donuts and a birthday message to our hotel room on arrival- which was so cute!

A brief overnight stay for just over 400 yuan. It's much cleaner than other Chinese hotels of similar nature. The only downside is the lack of a drying rack for clothes, which I hope they can improve. Absolute king of value for money!
Good location , close to the station.

I really like it; check-in and check-out are very convenient.
Don't make a decision without carefully examining it. It's not luxurious like the photos show; it's just a mid-range, standard hostel. We booked without realizing there were shared bathrooms and toilets. Unfortunately, you have to provide everything yourself; it's a mid-range hostel, with no other services besides a place to sleep. Carefully inspect before making your decision. There's no kitchen,...
it is a little far from the city centre. it was affordable, so no complaints about it. i think the cleanliness was a little out, my neck has pimples after sleeping on the pillow. other than that, the toilet is clean.
It was a good experience, the only thing to take into account was the unpleasant cigarette smell in the room. They should ventilate the rooms more before receiving a guest. Despite that, bathrooms were clean and the room was in good condition
Really nicely furnished room. I especially liked the minibar, netflix and coffee machine amenities.

I stayed only once at Hotel Maxim Düsseldorf City for just 3 nights, but everything was very good. The single rooms are quite small but sufficient for one person. The breakfast was very good and ample. The staff at the reception and kitchen were very friendly and helpful with anything you need.
I would say that it is really good balance between price and quality! The room was with basic equipment but it was clean and in good condition. The breakfast was nice with all necessary food which you would expect for a morning time. I would not say that this hotel is suitable for a family with little children but I had a nice stay with my wife and 2 years old daughter. I recommend it for a budget...
While the area is quite nice the hotel did not really meet my expectations (at least the ones created by the pictures I saw before my arrival). The room was clean but very small, the WiFi did not work at all and the breakfast was just OK. On the flip side it had nice views to the park place in front of the hotel.
Room could have been bigger. I was given a twin bed. I don't know why this couldn't have been a double bed. Would have been more economic for the space. Receptionists were very pleasant, knew good English were helpful when I needed my luggage stored. It's a pity walls weren't very sound proofed. I found I was often disturbed by loud music apart from at night. Free Wi-Fi was fast enough to play Netflix...
The hotel is a bit dated, the walls and doors are not thick so can hear the old lift and other people, a few minor issues with some of the things in the room, however all we needed was somewhere to stay. Terrific value for Düsseldorf, great breakfast, quiet with the windows shut
it was very dark in the elevator. impossible to read the information notes there
Wasn't that quiet at night, woke up a few times at night just while someone walks up the stairs. But the price and the location are really good.
Good locatio, nothing fancy, decent beds, cold room at first but the radiator worked well and heated it up nicely. Good, very cozy feeling breakfast.
Very nice hotel, 10 min walk frim train station and 15-20 min walk to the old town.
Only thing I had a problem with was the low illumination in the hallways and the room. Had to use the flashlight on my phone to see the keyhole to open tge door.
City centre hotel, staff were very accommodating when we arrived early.
Chargeable parking nearby, but none at the hotel. 100m past hotel on the same side of the road is best value parking @€14 (Sep. 24)

Had a great stay at Hotel Aleksandra. The room was just right for me as a solo traveller and the price was very reasonable for this area.
