Aristea and pavlos made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in until departing. The hotel was good , some of the staff were great and it has a lot of amenities. Pool is a good size, a bar and Stalis beach is moments away . If we come back to this part of the island again we would stay again.

Summer Dream was literally that! The hotel is beautiful and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and towels and linen changed every other day. The staff were amazing and helpful. We didn’t use the pool area as was up and out every morning. The property was a basic hotel with a nice view. Unfortunately, power was lost during our stay. The parking lot is 5 parking spaces, and larger cars extend into the street making it unusable. In addition the bathrooms had a smell, even after being cleaned. Likely from the drain in the floor. Very small shower and small room.

Great affordable accommodation in paleochora. Location is perfect, right beside the beach. Rooms are clean and serviced daily. I needed to extend my stay and staff were prompt and helpful. Would highly recommend.

The room is in pristine condition when we got there. Toilet is clean as well. Small space to have a shower but for an Asian like me, it’s good. Location is very good; very accessible to the beach, to town and small stores around the area. Staff is very accommodating and breakfast is amazing.

The hotel has a lovely location right by the beach. We had a large and nice room with good air conditioning. However, the bathroom was old and not functioning properly. Low water pressure, the toilet flushing worked very poorly, and there were frequent floods on the floor when we showered (backflow from the drain). We reported it, but nothing happened.

Nice little hotel at a good location, both close to the airport and the city center. The staff were very pleasant, with a special mention to Katerine, Who answered all our questions and even called places when we needed. The only problems was that the bathroom was a little small and the breakfast was nothing to write home about. Also you stop hearing the plane sounds after the first couple hours.

We have just returned from Rethymno and after moving hotels (wasn't happy with our first choice) found the Kleoniki Mare. Great location, it's across the street from the main bus station & taxis are nearby too. Lots of dining options for locals around the area, which I love. I'd say this hotel was a huge value. I would stay here again.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. Reasonably quiet. A good breakfast is provided (included in the price). The location is a short walk from the Old Town / Harbour. The only issue I had was trying to find somewhere to park (not the Hotel's fault) - I succeeded in the end but had to drive around a bit.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and safe. Staff were very efficient, polite and friendly. Location was perfect for us, as it was near the main bus station and our bus to/from the airport. Hence, it was a busy and bustling location but none of the noise could be heard from within the hotel room. Our hotel room had a balcony with distant views of the mountains and sea. It was no lighting on the stairs at night. On even floors. They have a fountain. In the middle of the parking lot that you can have a big accident because it was no lighting there neither. But the rooms were comftable and breakfast outstanding

Very friendly and helpful owners. Quiet place, away from all noises. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Downside, poor wifi,no direct access to beach you will have to walk around. Value for the money especially in a high season.

This is the absolute best hotell i've been for this price. Should've been at least 4 star with the service. Other 4 star i the neighbourhood could not compare. Absolutely would recommend!

We've had a lovely week at Phaedra. The hotel is clean and the room was well appointed. The staff, particularly Nikos were super friendly and helpful, both before our arrival snd during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble! We’ll be back, i hope!

The manager and his family is super friendly, helpful and professional. The room was amazing, direct seaview, clean, spacious. The beach is right next to the hotel, sandy beach. Sunbeds and umbrellas are free of charge

The staff is very friendly, keeps the place clean, and tends to guests' requests. However, it was not a pleasant experience for me because the WIFI did not work most of the time. So, for a business traveler who needs to remain connected or join online meetings, this is not the place. For pleasure travels, Kronos would be an excellent choice given the location and the service.

The website says they have parking. BUT this is limited and we were told we’d have to drive to this offsite parking lot and walk back (about 10 minutes). Not a good option for walking to get your car in the dark at 6 am in unknown area, driving back to the hotel to then load up your luggage.

This was a great location to visit Old Town Heraklion. Near the Venetian Fortress and the pedestrian avenues. Provides bottled and filtered water, endless. Provides free parking. Very clean. Elevator. Great deal.
