The property was a basic hotel with a nice view. Unfortunately, power was lost during our stay. The parking lot is 5 parking spaces, and larger cars extend into the street making it unusable. In addition the bathrooms had a smell, even after being cleaned. Likely from the drain in the floor. Very small shower and small room.

Super nice host, gave us tips on what to visit and which restaurants were good. The breakfast buffet was also super great!

Excellent location and service. Only downside is that the showering area in the toilet is too small such that i left the door open to bathe. Window lock is broken too. Besides these, i had a good stay.

Due to a mix up, we ended up being changed to this hotel at the last minute, which turned out to be a good choice. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Our room was small, but functional. Due to jet lag, we missed the buffet but that was ok, we were in a good location and found a great spot nearby for a coffee and pastry combo.

Hotel Fragiskos is the biggest hotel in Matala village. But isn’t the most modern. It is located on good place. Its services are perfect. It has air condition, parking, bar, hall, dining hall with allinclusive. Only a hotel’s walls are weak and every voices and echoes are hear.

We have just returned from Rethymno and after moving hotels (wasn't happy with our first choice) found the Kleoniki Mare. The staff is very friendly, keeps the place clean, and tends to guests' requests. However, it was not a pleasant experience for me because the WIFI did not work most of the time. So, for a business traveler who needs to remain connected or join online meetings, this is not the place. The room is located at the city center. It is very hard to park in this area, it is best to avoid it if you come by car. However, if coming by public transportation it is very convenient. It's a nice place. Close to the city of Siteia (3km). A perfect starting point to explore the region. Rooms are clean staff very kind. Pool was relaxing for the afternoon. Very recommended.

Great value for money. Rooms clean and well equipped. Not sure though if it's a hotel or a rent rooms complex. On the negative side Wi-Fi practically unavailable for rooms No.8, 9 & 10.

Good service, breakfast cost 7€ and are delicious. The room big and have beuty view, but the air conditioner hardly works and and the bed mattress is very hard.

Travelled to this hotel as a last minute escape. What a find. The poor gentleman that greeted me had to wait up as my flight and transfers got me to the hotel minutes before 3am. Perfect location near to the beach, sea view and possibility to eat breakfast on the terrace is perfect! Rooms are outdated but the price is adequate.

Location, location, location! The hotel is literally right next to the beach with a huge swimming area. Also a short walk into the center of town. I loved being able to walk everywhere. The facilities are good and the staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast overlooking the beach was a daily treat. I´ll be back!

If you need to see the sea and some beautiful sunset stay here ! The location is perfect ! Beach close 50m , restaurants close 20m . Only thing rooms are quite small and the bathroom is super small! Staff is super nice! Dont expect luxury or other things! Just relax! Breakfast is ok,nothing special but ok!

Lovely staff and excellent location. 27th of September is a night of street food and music around Kitro beach, brilliant evening and well worth the visit
