5 star hotels in Crete

The room was supposed to have a sea view & we had to contact reception 3 times for a switch to the correct room. The rooms were very clean and the staff were very helpful. There's a few things that might leave me wonder where the 5th star is coming from but on the whole a nice hotel

Entertainment was good, but the DJ by the pool during the day may have been a bit too loud and struggled to find the right songs for daytime djing, put me off my relaxation and had to put earphones in at times. Mine and my partner’s stay at the Luxme white was absolutely fantastic from the location to the food and facilities were amazing. We stayed for a week in a suite with a private pool and loved it. The staff were excellent to a fault, especially the bar staff - couldn't rate them high enough. The food was much better than your average all inclusive resort, especially the Veranda for breakfast (courtesy of our room) and Abrazo Mexican. If you're going to Crete and want a 5 star resort then you should consider the Stella Palace....

We spent 5 days in the Rethymno Palace as a couple, our teenage daughter and 4 of her friends. It's a nice hotel with indoor and outdoor pool and direct access to beach and sea. Stayed at this property for 11 nights with my wife and 2 year old daughter. We arrived around 10:30pm and Nelia who checked us in and said if we would like to check in after going to the creparie as they were serving food before closing at 11pm which was helpful.
