The food was as extraordinary as the service - we came away feeling like everyone we encountered there is now a good friend! Highly recommend the traditional “pop up” dinner - which was absolutely spectacular

Possibly the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. The facilities and the grounds are exquisite and the staff are above and beyond. The restaurant serves some of the most delicious food I have ever eaten.

The rooms have been well laid out within the grounds and we had total privacy. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice at the buffet and on the menu. Staff were very welcoming and attentive

We absolutely loved our room (723) from which we could see the island of Spinalonga. The room included a huge bathroom, walk in closet and a good sized balcony

The understated elegance that fully takes at advantage of the natural views that come with this location is truly stunning. We truly appreciated the food and the service I this amazing spot

We didn't eat lunch or dinner at the hotel. It's true that the hotel is set into the hillside and for some people this may be an issue, but the buggy service is readily available if needed

The hotel was great. Special mention goes to the bartender, Michael; he makes fantastic drinks. All the other staff members also do their best to ensure that guests have an enjoyable holiday. Thank you all!

we've been to the hotel for six days in August. after I've made the order, i've seen some bad reviews regarding the rooms condition. But i can say just the opposite, the room we got was in a good condition

I have so many wonderful things to say but I will start with the bartender Michael. He is extremely skilled at making drinks that are both delicious and aesthetically pleasing. He has a clear passion for what he does

He always engaged in conversation and was happy to explain different drinks to me and I really enjoyed the rapport we had. Also Kalliopi the receptionist is extremely friendly and approachable

The hotel itself is beautiful and well kept, the room was spacious and the housekeepers did a very good job keeping our room clean throughout the week

This may be attributed to several factors, including its limited room capacity, direct beach access (though not a private beach, with a daily fee of 6 EUR for a couple), and its proximity to the higher-priced regions of Rethimnon and Chania

The hotel itself is commendable, particularly its restaurant, and the service throughout the premises was consistently prompt. A recommendation would be to update the guest room towels

The service team at the Pool Bar were just as wonderful, and the food and drinks were delicious and surprisingly cost friendly

During our recent stay in Crete, we experienced three distinct hotels, including two five-star establishments and one four-star, the Orpheas Resort

The pools are a bit strange, because they look good, but they are not really functional and not good for swimming. Good bread and some choice, but nothing special. Unfortunately horrible coffee

We stayed here for 4 nights, and very much liked it. We had booked two rooms in the standard categorie (towards the road, which is quite noisy), and were upgraded to rooms with garden view, which was very nice

If you are looking for relaxation, rejuvenation, a clean and quiet environment and above all very, very kind people, this is the ideal place. They treated us like family, and we can't wait to go back next summer.

The hotel, just steps from the sea, charmed us with its cozy vibe and exceptional service. From the very first minute, we felt welcomed and very comfortable

As regards food, we tended to have dinner out (it’s only a 5 minute taxi ride to the old town and there’s a rank about 20m from the hotel) but the pool bar was good for lunches and the buffet breakfasts in the restaurant were excellent

The best thing for us was the split level family room - twin beds and a shower room downstairs (plus balcony), with a king size and bathroom upstairs, both with a sea view

There’s also a water sports kiosk only 20m away, for parasailing, jet skis etc. The hotel has a nice pool (although a bit fresh!) and the week we were there, there was never any trouble in getting loungers

Our balcony door was really hard to close properly, the shower head holder was broken (they fixed that really quickly) and our room had started to show some wear, but all in all it was a pleasant st

We spent a week in the Aegean Pearl, right at the end of the season in October, and had a fantastic week

We found the food at both breakfast and dinner excellent, even better than last year. A good variety of dishes that were well prepared and tasty. The staff are friendly, welcoming and a credit to the hotel

Breakfast offered a good variety to start the day, while dinner in the rooftop restaurant was excellent with plenty of choice on the menu each evening

There are lots of facilities to enjoy, including a good-sized swimming pool, a gym, and extras like a pool table, bike hire, a hot tub, and a sauna—so there’s always something to do. The location is another big plus

The GBH has a stunning pool area surrounded by palms and the sound of waves in the background, a beautiful spa, and the best gelato on the island

It has a beautiful outside heated pool with super comfy sun loungers (which was perfect for us in April) , a beautiful spa, rooftop jacuzzi, gym area and rooftop bar. I 100 percent recommend this hotel

My husband and I had a good time at the Pepper Sea Club. The service from all the staff was Outstanding. They were Friendly, attentive and Accommodating. The room was spotless and had all the amenities that was needed

The Food was to die for, they catered for everyone's need a wide variety to choose from, we were spoilt for choice. I DEFINITELY recommend this hotel

the room was beautiful beds were comfortable. The staff were very attentive an always happy to help. Everything was immaculately clean

The decor was quirky but in a really good way I loved it so much we have now used it to inspire our newly decorated bedroom

Sunbeds were the most comfortable ones I have encountered and lying on the ones by the sea was absolute bliss

We were also extremely lucky with the weather: 22° water and 26° air temperature in the first week of November; so we did not do a lot of sightseeing, but rather enjoyed the snorkeling, swimming, fitness courses and yoga lessons

There were two TVs but with limited programme choice. However, the wifi was good so we used our tablet and a HDMI cable which we had brought with us. There was a coffee machine which we also used to boil water for tea

The highlights of our stay really were Tina's yoga lessons and Petros' fitness courses. We also enjoyed a high quality massage. Surprisingly good for swimming and snorkeling was the private beach of the hotel

its "Acai Berry Bowl") every day, calling the service from the beach lounger's call button. Both breakfast buffet and dinner buffet were nice. (The dinner buffet repeated after 1 week, but we stayed only 8 nights

And the flax seed ran out three days before the end of the season (and was not filled up again). The door knob in our room was not properly working, so we could not lock the front door from inside

We choose a more expensive room with its own private swimming pool (more of a plunge pool) with separate sleeping and living area. The room was clean and daily cleaned to a high standard

the food in the restaurant was brilliant different every day loved the potatoes the staff were brilliant especially the waiters n waitresses they were on the ball when it came to tidying up the pool was good and it was great they had a bridge to the beach

We had a room on the 4th floor accross the road from the beach but had a nice sea view. The room was large and we had a fridge, kettle and cooking facilities even though we were all inclusive

The local area did not have any bars open with music or entertainment either so we played yahtzee whilst sat in the bar. There are 2 tvs in the rooms but no English channels so no good for us to watch

The food was just acceptable , not always to our taste but they have guests from all over the world so have to cater for all tastes even though some seemed like odd choices. The food wasnt very warm though

The air con was great and there is a small kitchenette with a fridge etc. We only used the fridge to keep drinks cold. In the beach side is a pool, sun loungers, the reception, bar and beach

There are 2 pools and even though there are signs everywhere saying you cannot reserve loungers some people chose to ignore this and staff didn't remove their towels

Whilst there my mother in law slipped (yes they came on honeymoon only because we brought our wedding day forward a year 😂) the hotel was great with sorting doctors and getting her seen quickly staff were very attentive

This was our 2nd visit and we were welcomed like family ,everything was beyond expectation ,amazing accomodation, staff who more than go the extra mile ,food is outstanding, choice was fabulous , absolutely nothing to fault

We will definitely be returning. If it’s pure relaxation you want this is the place. A bus stops right outside hotel to go into Chania takes about 40mins

There are a few shops bars and restaurants near the hotel 10-15min walk is a big supermarket

Service at breakfast, lunch and evening was always good and enjoyed our conversations with Matao. We really enjoyed the food could not fault anything. Zoe was always very helpful and gave us information on the local area

The food is first class and truly a great buffet - lots of homemade and homegrown food. The drinks are below average in price with a cocktail being around €11. A good bottle of wine around €20

This is one of the best places to locally - if not the best. A great welcome with local iced tea, homemade biscuits and a cool flannel

Also a free A La Carte dinner at Tomatini the on-site restaurant. Also a voucher is handed to you for a free lunch - this is any salad and two main courses for two people - anything you want

The views from the reception and bar are extraordinary, so beautiful to look over Galini harbour. Generously you are given a nice bottle of wine and snacks in the room

We were welcomed and shown to the restaurant where food had been prepared for us despite the fact that it was 11. The holiday just got better and better after that

Whilst here we were the ONLY English - which made for quiet socialising in the eve as everyone was German. Quiet a few kids , but they were generally well behaved

Staff at this hotel made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Fruit plater in room and Bottle of wine. Dorian n the restaurant was fantastic nothing too much bother. Always smiling and so good at her job

Stavros in the bar very attentive. Entertainment duo worked very hard. We were in a party of 12 and had a fantastic time also got engaged on karaoke night so such a memorable holiday

Beautiful hotel almost on the beach. Very clean rooms, perfect service. We prefer adult friendly hotels, so this hotel is the right match

Excellent food every day, great program (aqua gym, games, karaoke, culture evening etc. And last but not least: the best personel ever, nice people doing perfectly their job

One of the best relaxing holidays had for a long time

The staff apart from the rude reception lady were so nice and friendly, Stavros the barman was a top man, he made our stay and evenings, very friendly, a funny guy! Maria was also a lovely lady, kind and helpful, Teddy who ran the animation team did a very good job, from beach activities to evening entertainment including, music nites, kareoke and bingo! The beach is just across a fairly busy toad...

Cons: The hotel looks good and modern, but the rooms are quite strange. Ours was a micro-room, really small with a tiny balcony which was supposed to be a double room

The rooms are very clean though kind of small but definitely enough. The food was delicious but not much of Greece culture. Since it was very packed the restaurant was kind of loud

I have never experienced such a good food offering in a hotel before and could not find a single item that I disliked. I definitely plan on coming back and fully recommend it

Booked the hotel for a 7 days period. Pros: The staff is amazing, really helpful and there when you need. The food is really good, lots of choices and themes across the week. They have music nights every 2 days

We spent six nights at this hotel and it was the most marvelous holiday! The location is priceless. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and we had the best view of the sea from our balcony

The food was delicious, the service was perfect and the swimming pool was amazing! If you want to have the best holiday you should book this hotel :)

well we just got back from a week here and what do I have to say about Maritimo Beach Hotel wow we love sissi the people are so nice and the hotel is great very nice rooms we had a downstairs garden view room up by the smaller pool room 608 spotless every day and the rest of tge hotel too never saw anything dirty the staff omg so nice there is a lady that works there I saw her in the restaurant on...

The hotel has a large lounge at the reception area, and of course, it is wheelchair accessible. The receptionists are quite friendly and professional. They provide breakfast and dinner

Maritimo Beach Hotel is a relaxing and quiet hotel set in the beautiful small harbour town of Sisi. The hotel staff were super friendly and attended to our every need and request

After two wonderful stays in 2025, we've already booked for 2026. We can't wait to return to this resort. For us, it's one of the most beautiful in the Mediterranean (…and we've stayed at many others)

The beach and sea were very pleasant with beautiful clear sea. When we first stepped inside the hotel it felt calm and relaxing. The location was on the whole good although quite a drive from the airport and Heraklion

However for this holiday that was fine as it was more about relaxing and releasing stress. The spa facilities were excellent

There was multiple activities provided by the entertainment team daily for example aqua bikes, aqua gym and lots of ball games. The entertainment team spoke multiple languages such as French, Spanish and English

If you get the old rooms, you hear everything your neighbours are doing. And they should renovate the bathroom. But it was always cleaned very thoroughly. Besides that everything was top notch

The hotel food at lunch time is lovely and good quality. There is a gym but so small and very hot with no air conditioning, not pleasant. There was music entertainment 3 times a week and it was very nice,

I asked about the new hotel – what it was like, how many stars – and she told us it was 5-star. It was a 4-star hotel, and definitely not a good one

The hotel they sent us to was run-down and dirty – black mould on the walls, cracked tiles, and generally in a poor state. We were so upset and couldn’t believe this is where we were expected to stay for half our holiday

The woman on reception was rude, dismissive, and showed no care for our situation at all. She didn’t offer any solutions or alternatives within the hotel and just said we’d have to go to another hotel they had arranged

We got to the hotel just after midnight, having received an email confirming our booking, only to be told there was a “problem” with our room and we couldn’t stay

As good as it gets for every reason you can think of. This was our second year in a row as a family visiting Theo hotel and we have never been back to the same place more than once until now

The staff are excellent and polite always happy to see you and help with anything. The rooms were very clean and tidy with excellent views all round

Patio area is the main walk way to other rooms - no privacy. Pool area really good, not supposed to be able to reserve a sunbed, but by breakfast there were plenty of towels out and mist beds gone

Listed as 4* but certainly does make that grade. Breakfast was really good staff friendly & helpful, buffet style, plenty of choice. Bathroom floods & is like something from the 70's

The staff were friendly and always happy to help assist you for your daily needs and advise us for day trips. The hotel has a beautiful pool with a great bar and spa etc and the daily breakfast was vast in variety

There is a municipal parking 1 min from the hotel with reasonable prices. I really enjoyed the buffet breakfast with very big variety and good quality of products

The hotel is in a perfect location, within walking distance to the city of Agios Nikolaos and a number of beaches. It is situated in a quiet location but also very central

The staff doesn't seem familiar with the restaurant's rules. We had drinks included (1/4 wine and 1/2 water per person), and there were no problems with the water, but we had to ask for the promised 1/4 wine

Well located not far from the marina and the city center, this hotel seems to be surviving. The rooms are clean and the bedding is comfortable. In the bathroom, a tiny bathtub doubles as a shower

To secure your valuables in the room, you have to pay an additional €3. 50 per day and request a (huge) key from reception. A strange practice for a four-star hotel these days

Watch out for two great guys who work there, Armando who does the sun loungers and Tonin one of the waiters really nice guy both have work here for a good few years now always lovely to see them

Predominantly the clientele were from mainland Europe which was great , it was like a holiday of old. It is effectively a community and such a good vibe from several bars shops and restaurants around it
