The room was great and cleaned everyday. The food on the buffet was so nice and the view from the hotel was breathtaking. Not one bad word to say. Great visit from start to finish.

A taxi from the airport to the resort was about 30 min and 45 Euros. I recommend coordinating with the resort to schedule your pickup prior to your arrival. Staff was excellent and accommodating

We stayed at this beautiful place for a week and a half during our honeymoon. I cannot say better things about the resort & location!! The service was so accommodating and everyone was so kind

Be sure to go on all the elevators as they take you to different places. A rental car place and an ATV Quad excursion is economical and within walking distance to the resort

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. I was pleasantly surprised with the food, it was always fresh, tasted good and selection/variety was impressive. Buffet always clean, and well maintained

The hotel had a very chill vibe, good entertainment but very child focused- but separate from bars so we just stayed at the bar and played uno it was lovely!! There was not many teenagers so hard for the kids to make friends- it’s not a friend making hotel

Once some men came in from outside of the hotel without wristbands and drank beer and ate food and swam and then when they got figured out left- it must be a thing they do with hundreds of hotels, so keep phones close

The hotel was extremely safe other than that and it was fine to leave belongings. Right next to the beach it was a few steps away so great for sunset pictures. Overall an amazing holiday I loved it so much, thank you

The place is very clean, stylish and a real 5-star hotel. We went to free Pilates session & cookie session. Service is very accommodating, sauna open specially for us untill 21:00 instead of 18:00

We loved the staff and their friendliness at any of the bars or restaurants. The food was really good and varied day to day which we all loved. We used the fitness and tennis program which the kids and us enjoyed a lot

This is an excellent but very expensive property and the dining options are impeccable. We have traveled as Hyatt globalists and by far--- this could be the best we think this could be the best in CRETE

Bravo! Eleni in the dining management is stellar. Do the half board option and for sure -- the drink option. Love the fact very few Americans- even though I am American. Have them arrange for your transfer from airport

We had an amazing stay. Everything was great - the staff were very friendly, the room and hotel was super clean, and the food was tasty as well. We can't complain and will return.

I had a wonderful time at the hotel! I loved the spa, the pool and had the best night sleeps! It is a shame that the main restaurant does not serve a real espresso from ground coffee beans as it would have been nice to enjoy a good cup of coffee with the wonderful breakfast, but despite this, I will happily return to the hotel

This makes it hard for vegans, people with allergies etc, I am sure they could do a little better on this!

This was perfect holiday ! It was our fourth time in Mitsis Laguna and I have to say it - this is the best hotel IN THE WORLD. We travel all around the world and honestly there is no better place than Mitsis Laguna

Our second stay this year! Amazing hotel. I'd accidently booked the wrong room type, and we were upgraded for free. Giannis provided excellent service around the pool

The Italian restaurant was our favourite. Roula and Spyros were amazing waiters and recommended the best food! Toto and Ana kept the kids and adults entertained

There are 3 main outside pools and an indoor pool, we particularly liked the children’s pool and the pool with the with a swim up bar. The rooms had everything required and were cleaned everyday

Loved the location as it’s right on the beach front. Hotel is so clean and the cleaning team are constantly cleaning and maintaining the high standards

The hotel was very clean and tidy. My daughter particularly enjoyed the kids club and kids disco. There was an amazing fire and light show one evening

We made a complaint to the reception regarding our glass toilet door making an aweful noise when opening and closing as it was getting caught on something 3 times we reported it and was told nothing wrong with it

Entertainment was good, but the DJ by the pool during the day may have been a bit too loud and struggled to find the right songs for daytime djing, put me off my relaxation and had to put earphones in at times

The variety of restaurants is excellent – every meal was a pleasure – and in the evenings there is live music, which creates a wonderful atmosphere 🎶

Lovely large hotel with 4 pools! Right beside the beach. ( over the road) Free sunbeds for residents. So much choice on the buffet meals, each breakfast and evening meal. Great shower and all toiletries in the room

i took a video to reception of the door and now small shards of glass. they soon took notice and repaired the fault. Booked a massage/ they changed the time to fit other ppl in so moved our appointment

Similar story to some other reviews- we really wanted to love this place and had high hopes. We have been to many Ikos and Lux resorts and thought this would be on par

The food was good but not an amazing breakfast- don’t get me wrong there is nothing wrong with it and the service is good but not the same standards as Ikos/ Lux

We had a lovely week at this resort in Oct. Very organised on arrival, a buggy took us to our room, which was a deluxe sea view. Very beautiful large room with large fridge, very comfortable bed and excellent shower

Usually a true 5* resort would then upsell rather than trying to sell you a poor alternative that tasted awful. When we complained, we would then be able to order it but have the same issue later on or the following day

You have to pay extra for that and the sun doesn’t touch most of them it seems. Our main issue was on check out day. As soon as 11am strikes you are no longer all inclusive and are expected to pay for everything

We had a wonderful stay at Arminda with our 2YO daughter. The location is great with easy access to a beach which is excellent for swimming, and close to local towns for authentic dining & sightseeing

A special Thank you to Maria & Sophia at Votsalo who made every morning wonderful with their smiles, welcoming energy and amazing coffee! The only difficulty we encountered during our stay was the access our daughter had to opening our room door from within the room, we felt safe but had to take special precautions to ensure she didn’t leave unattended

There's also a convienient laundry rack in the rooms. The food was fine, maybe needed some more salt at times. We arrived quite late and they even had a cold buffet waiting for us which we didn't expect!

The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, even before our arrival, and made my birthday truly special with a decorated table, balloons, a bottle of wine, and warm wishes from the whole team

Can go to the beach too which is owned by another hotel but that's fine. Some people say the pool towels cost extra but the first one is free and you're free to use it throughout the week

Within the hotel there are many choices when it comes to dining, relaxing & entertainment. The staff at Arminda are very attentive and friendly

Aquila Atlantis Hotel is a solid place to stay in Heraklion - the location is excellent, close to the city center and easy to explore nearby sights and walkable to great food spots

One of the authentic hotels in crete island. It was built in 1964 originally. Hotel staffs are friendly and professional. Only weak point is GYM 🏋️‍♀️ facilities. Relatively small and lack of machines

Amazing hotel with great friendly staff. The breakfast was great and had a lot of variety with traditional Greek food and gluten free and organic options

Georgia and Eirini in particular. The entertainment was mostly good and suited our boys. The kids pool wasn't huge and slides basic, but just right for us, we often had whole pool to ourselves

This is my 4th visit to Creta Palace, my husband went many times, throughout his teens and early adulthood. We have two children, at the time of travel were 5 and 8. We have visited Creta Palace in 2022, 2023 and 2025

There was 12 of us 6 adults and 6 children acomadtion food and service was excellent will go back again . Only 1 hr drive from the airport lovly town only 15 mins taxi drive

it was our first family holiday with our 1 year old. we had a really good time and our baby enjoyed it so much. We had a problem with a room and it was rectified immediately

The hotel is in a good location, 30 km from Heraklion, by the sea. The weather is still very good in mid-October, the sea is warm and the weather is no longer deadly hot but pleasantly warm

People in Crete, in general, are grumpy. Im talking about local people not but stranger workers. I've rarely seen anything like it. On the other hand, the foreign workers are always polite and helpful

The most beautiful beach in the area is the one in front of the Hotel Meditereneo and right in front of the open-air museum on the beach. The center of Hersosissos is lively and has many local shops

Good overall, well managed but has some are Good overall. We stayed in an imperial room on the beach side of the hotel. Very good facilities overall, but some of the rooms need to be updated and soundproofed

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed at. They have for sure the nicest staff ever. So accommodating. Great food the breakfast buffet is so so good. Definitely will come back and recommend highly.

We spent the last night of our weeks holiday at this resort as a treat. The room was very good - very clean. Some excellent perks such as welcome drinks / cocktails and a bottle of wine

The breakfast was good but I was told I could not take my coffee out from the breakfast area - whatever we had had to be consumed there. Bearing in mind the pool can literally be 5 steps away from the breakfast area

Would we go back again - maybe - the layout and rooms and gifts were very good

Since not everything is perfect, towards the end of our stay, the room next door got occupied and I could hear them being intimate, so thin the walls are! The cleaning lady filled the shower gel container with water, and did not refill the lotion

Without question the best run hotel I have ever stayed at. Every single detail is perfect. Every single staff member is excellent. The food in the buffet and restaurants is exceptional

This was such an incredible resort. The staff is absolutely impeccable and their beachside/poolside service was amazing. The buffet was impressive and the food was absolutely delicious. I’d go back over and over.

Food was epic and the service around the pool really great. Just make sure to download the group app and book your restaurants as soon as you are confirmed. Got upgraded to a swim up room too so that was pretty special

Downloaded Hotel app before we left Canada but unable to book restaurants 7 days in advance of arrival. Also the buffet food was underwhelming at times. Also allowing smoking was annoying

It's a 4 star at best and there's nothing luxury about it aside from the one pool and the sunsets

We can highly recommend a trip to the Agreco Farm for dinner, The White (adults only fine dining), and Asia White - although all of the food, including the buffet, was excellent

We loved our stay at the Arina Beach resort. After 3 weeks travelling around Europe, it was amazing to relax at an all inclusive resort. The staff were great and the food and drinks was better than we expected

He is amazing along with Alex on the bakery (lovely man), Aspa, Kathryn, and all the waitresses and waiters that can’t do enough for you. The Avra, restaurant has improved and is incredibly good

We booked a penthouse room as we had before, the rooms are well set out, with robes, slippers, iron facilities coffee machine, and a lovely welcome package of treats wine and a stocked fridge

Honestly the most beautiful and friendlist hotel i have ever been to. We arrived late in the evening not expecting to be able to eat anything but the restaurant had left us a meal with bread and fruit plate

We made some wonderful German friends. My husband had 3 treatments in the spa, i had a lovely facial on friday

By the end of day one we were planning our next visit! Travelling with Crohn’s disease isn’t always easy, but Giannis and his staff were so incredibly helpful with food selections that they made our stay so very simple

The restaurant was excellent, there was always something nice to eat with a vast selection at every mealtime and the Italian restaurant is a must. The staff were very friendly and helpful

Sisi village is a short walk away with some lovely shops and eateries. There is an on site supermarket with gift shopping incorporated. The pools were great (a little cold but once you were in very refreshing)

Overall we loved this place and having stayed in various locations around the world we rate this one very highly. We would definitely recommend it and would stay here again

The suite we stayed in was very spacious with a private rooftop terrace, the room was cleaned daily and stocked with bottled water every day

But there was no air-conditioning in the main parts of the hotel except for the main bar, which didn't work when the bar was open because all the doors were open. The air-con in our room was good, thank god

Travellers should also be aware that the hotel is built on a cliff and there is only one lift in the whole complex so mostly, it is stairs (a lot of them) and slopes. Terrible if you have mobility issues

Despite signs on them to say that people could not put towels on them and then disappear, this happened all the time and nobody rectified it. Suffice to say, we were pool-less for the entire holiday

Pools weren't heated so felt very cold but got used to it! Food was good but would have liked more Greek dishes and more vegetarian options - but there was always enough to eat

Amazing stay. The private pool rooms are incredible, view is fantastic and located near one of the best beaches in the island. Food was good too, many options and mostly tasty dishes.

We have always found the Elounda Bay Palace to be one of the best hotels in Elounda, and even though we have been to another in the early days of visiting Crete, we always came back to the Elounda Bay Palace, as we found everything as we wanted, such an nice atmosphere, relaxing place to unwind and forget about your stressful work life

We had a side sea view which was different, but a good view towards the sea. Very clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed. Very close to the restaurant, which was convenient and access to the beach

Breakfast and dinner was excellent with a variety every night, and always hot and well prepared. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and it makes our stay so much more enjoyable

We booked again for the Elounda Bay Palace, staying for 7 nights in June and looking forward to our 7th visit. We were given a lovely reception upon arrival as always, quick check in progress and were shown to our room
