We did not book an all inclusive package which meant we could enjoy both the buffet and the on-site à la carte restaurant. Both were excellent with consistently top-tier service

Despite hasty renovations, the property is not ready for Kimpton status in my opinion. But the surrounding area is not good at all. The beachfront is rocky and un-walkable. There is a sheep farm next to the hotel

Honestly, some of the best service I have ever experienced. From the big things to the tiny details, this hotel gives 100 percent in every aspect. My partner and I stayed for a week and it was absolutely amazing

You need a car to get anywhere. With so many choices in Crete, this property has a real uphill struggle, and I wish them all the best

We had hired a car which we were pleased about as you can’t walk to anything as the hotel is off a main road in the middle of nowhere. I’m not sure you would class this as a five star hotel but it’s certainly a four

The hotel is magnificent. Ideally located by the sea. Everything is designed for the comfort of the guests. The staff were wonderful, welcoming, and responsive. The food was perfect: we thoroughly enjoyed it!

Thalia is an amazing host! She gives the best advice helps with everything you need nothing is too small she goes out of her way to help and make you feel accommodated really recommend this hotel

The lady owner said she would "knock something up for us" for our evening meal and produced an absolute feast! The breakfast was excellent too

The rooms are well equipped and are cleaned from top to bottom every day (even the dishes!). Thanks to the very helpful owners we had an exquisite diner on arrival after a very long travel day full of delays

Lenikos is a great place to stay! Everything you need for a quiet break away. Close to Agia Gallia village, 45 minute walk (downhill so very steep on your way back!) or 5 minutes by car

There are 3 fantastic pools which were quiet when I visited so I had the pool to myself. The views from the apartment was breathtaking and the breakfast each morning is fantastic

As a cat lover, I appreciated the colony of cats lurking about who were incredibly friendly and completely gorgeous! The views from the resort were amazing - azure blue sea and stunning mountains

The walk into the old town is about 20ish minutes and again some fantastic restaurants and cocktail bars. The one at the start of the harbour was very good. The restaurants do prefer cash but will take card

The included breakfast in the restaurant is good and we chose to eat there two evenings too to pay for dinner and that was also great and well priced

There is a well stocked shop onsite but also a big supermarket less than 5mins walk away, between them you can find everything you need The entertainments were goof and children enjoyed the soft play area and other little bits put on by the reps We were not able to attend the greek night in the hotel but found one running several nights a week in a restaurant near the roundabout just 5mins away The...

Don’t expect thrills but if you want a clean hotel with exceptional staff then give it a try. A special mention to Anna on reception. If you want any advice on what to do and see while you’re there then she is your lady

The pools were great, some reviews complain about finding a sunbed but we did not find this to be the case, perhaps it depends on other guests. At the beginning of our stay the sunbeds by the main pool were taken by 7

Thank you for all working so hard as a team after the sandstorm, you all seemed to be there from morning until night cleaning the sand off the sun loungers and making everyone's stay the best it could be and it certainly paid off

Good service except for the guy who works on the beach and rents out sunbeds and umbrellas, arrogant and rude. recommend to choose the nearby beaches

Outstanding customer service! Waiters and cleaners were also extremely attentive, the waiters joked with our daughter calling her 'Max' as she looked liked Max from Stranger Things and the cleaners always left our rooms spotless, leaving sweets on the pillow or displaying our pjs on the bed

Absolutely amazing hotel and staff! All of the staff go above and beyond to please their hotel residents. My son has a nut allergy and the head server and chef went through all the food that were safe for him to eat

Room was kept clean, the cleaners are so friendly as were the pool/bar staff as well as spa. Emma the spa manager was lovely as was our therapist Dimirta

The receptionist Marta was absolutely rude on arrival and her attitude during our check in and room assignment was just shocking. The manager was able to correct and give us an alternative room which was what we paid for

Even if you arrive very early all the beds in the pools are taken/kept, people keep them even while they go for a few hours to eat/sleep, but the hotel employees, unfortunately, do nothing about it

It is a ground floor room directly facing a fairly busy pedestrian street. Flip up blinds were closed the entire stay, so this room doesn’t truly offer even a peak view of the ocean, let alone a “dazzling blue sea view”

Really enjoyed all 3 pools, the nearby beach, and everything within walking distance! My room type should not have been listed as it is “ Dazzling Blue Sea View Outdoor Hot Tub”

The food buffet had a variety of items with the dinner items changing each evening for extra variety. Brilliant hotel and highly recommend the sea view room!

We stayed for 7 nights in early August,the staffs are all extremely friendly and helpful

The hotel is situated in the town itself but is lovely and quiet. Staff were welcoming and accommodating apart from one or two of the girls/women on the front desk who seemed to have abit of an attitude

We stayed half board but probably only ate there a handful of times. Food was fine but not much rotation in choice throughout the week so we ate out. Tourist tax was €10 euros per night

Not far to walk to the two pools although steep in parts but manageable and buggy’s were around the resort. The swimming pools aren’t heated like most aren’t abroad but were amazing to have a good swim in and never busy

Oversaw the area brilliantly everyone felt special and looked after he is a legend. George is also amazing and excellent at his job and in quieter moments it was so interesting to talk to them both

We always were able to get a sun bed and lots of shade if you wanted it. Loved the aqua aerobics classes three times a week too! Music was played a few evenings a week too which was very good

It was the lovely staff that really made our holidays special we have had three holidays there. Dimitris who usually managed our area we sat in for our meals was excellent

The location was excellent about 10 minutes flat walk along a promenade to a lovely large sandy beach- Almyros beach or a pebbly beach just in front of the hotel

We watched the sun set and each morning we were filled with excited anticipation of the new ships in the harbour. And this all with never hearing a sound from outside unless we opened the terraces doors and windows

Most of all, the staff was respectful, kind, helpful, and attentive! Gave us some complimentary bits and bobs for our honeymoon which we greatly appreciated. It felt like a real high-class, high-touch experience

The cleaning staff we're especially forthcoming and kind. Our views from our room facing the harbour was outer worldly. Panoramic views of the Harbour, the Port, the Ocean and the ancient walls kept us in awe

We thoroughly enjoyed five star treatment in this hotel. A special thanks to the receptionist Vikky for her help and kindness and solid recommendations on what to do, which bus to take and on where to dine

The Adele Beach Hotel is ideally located with a 25 minutes bus (number 20) journey/ride away from the nearest historic town of Rethimno which literally has something to offer everyone but just remember to purchase bus tickets in advance from all local stores and shops at 2 euro per trip

From the moment we arrived - staff were truly professional, smartly dressed, approachable, friendly, informative, accommodating, ready to assist and help to exceed all levels of customer service to ensure every single guests stay expectation were met

The Adele Beach Hotel is centrally located near to the main high road with numerous bars, ATM's, supermarkets, coffee shops, restaurants and activity venues along with a pharmacy, hire car centres and a medical centre

The hotel is set back and away from the main road so there are no noise or pollution issues. As for the Adele Beach Hotel itself. WOW! The hotel is shown as 4 star and they certainly deserve that rating

There is one large pool with it's own pool bar and free sunbed access around the large pool area and on the private beach. The selection of food is local Greek cuisine meets European and west

Check-in is via an app which is just stupid when you’ve provided 90% of the detail in advance for example. Rooms are quite good but dated somewhat and in need of new beds (a little on the uncomfortable side)

It’s located at the far end of the strip, serving staff are really good but the reception staff aren’t great - super junior and not very well trained

• I stayed half board during my stay and honestly the selection of food was wonderful and I liked that they provided traditional Greek food which was great to try

That might be my best experience so far. Friendly and kind stuff and delicious food! The dinner experience is fantastic. Every day we got new surprises like wine tasting or even national dance performance

Also just want to give a shout out to Julia the guest relations manager, such a lovely lady and very helpful when booking my excursion to Santorini

Overall this is heavily a 3-star hotel by Irish standards trying to pitch a 5-star product that just falls short in too many places

We’ve come here fore years and every year we come back to the beach at themis hotel. Kiki and sofia are always very friendly and welcoming. They offer the best service you can get. We are very happy to come back again

Clean room although the balcony door needs replaced due to water in-between glazing. Double bed not available although 2 singles put together. We were all inclusive and choice for price very good value

We had a great stay here with our 16-month-old! The food was good, especially when we dined a la carte, by the beach. I would say this resort caters mostly to German tourists

We had the best time at Vasia Boulevard. The staff were amazingly helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotlessly clean and fresh bedding supplied everyday

We stayed at this hotel for 6 days and had amazing service throughout! They allowed early and late checkout for us as we had difficult flight times, called us multiple taxis to get around the beautiful island and were just helpful start to finish

The breakfast was perfect, so much choice! The hotel is well located with a huge amount of restaurants and bars on the doorstep, and lovely places like Koutouloufari and Stalis just a short distance away

There are also rental car agencies near the hotel where you can rent a car for a day and go hike Timios Stavros (the tallest mountain on Crete and another Unesco heritage site)

Great hotel near the city center, close to airport and ferry port with good options for food, drink and shopping. Easy walk to the water and museums The hotel and room were spotless

We dropped by your resort (Ethereal White Resort, Heraklion) and was greeted by Chrisanthi at reception and who we explained our situation. She immediately gave us information on availability and cost

The room was very clean, the front desk staff was very patient and professional, and although the breakfast buffet was not very rich, the overall taste was good

Also, thanks to George (Geórgios) who gave us a tour of the resort and for placing a request for a takeaway breakfast because we had an early flight on departure

There were 2 separate pools, I chose the one further from the bar and had many hours with no one sitting near me- perfect. So peaceful for reading, relaxing and napping should you so desire

While there is a bus stop directly outside, the buses are often late, and you could end up waiting over 30 minutes or more for one to arrive. We personally loved the location, especially since we had a rented jeep

I got 2 bottles of water added to my room daily which was a great help. Stylish decorating, a lift that works well and a shop plus bar if you want anything. Pools were super lovely, really peaceful beside the pool areas

Beautiful hotel in the city center, walking distance to the old town which is filled with restaurants and shopping spots, across the street from an amazing coffee shop, kind staff, clean and felt safe! Around 10 parking spots in the underground lot first come first serve otherwise parking free on hotel street ! Breakfast had good variety of options! Would recommend !

Located centrally, this hotel is stunning. Parking can be a bit tricky if you are used to North American style car garages, but nothing we couldn’t deal with. Breakfast was incredible as well.

The only thing I would slightly improve is the hair dryer in the bathroom – it heats up quickly and doesn’t work that well, but it’s just a small detail compared to how great everything else was

The food was delicious, with lots of variety and rich local flavors – special greetings to Chef Fotis for the incredible meals. Everyone working here makes the experience even more enjoyable

I am happy and grateful for Dimitris and Dimitra for making me an exception for the coctail without alcohol. The other personnel shift could not make the drink without one ingridient

Children are particularly well looked after by the wide variety of food on offer. The hotel itself and surrounding areas were very clean and well kept

My stay at this hotel was truly amazing! The entire staff is incredibly kind, helpful, and always welcoming

We also went into Chania Old Town one evening, which cost €28 each way and was definitely worth it — lovely atmosphere, good food, and nice to have a wander somewhere busier

The welcome was really well organised and very friendly. They give you a little tour when you arrive and take you to your room, which is a nice touch and helps you settle in

It’s good if you want to properly switch off — it kind of forces you to relax because there isn’t loads going on. A taxi to Platanias was €12, which was worth it for a change of scenery

The hotel is quite remote, but there are a few small shops and neighbouring restaurants close by that get you through

Unfortunately the sauna and steam room were 20 euros per hour extra. The pool Was too cold to swim in. Hotel staff was great and we got upgraded

The resort and most of the things in the town close up by the end of October and reopen the next year in May
