Personel is friendly and we got some great tips about things to do in the area. Before this we had a very dissapointing 4 star hotel, so this was a really pleasant surprise

Clearly the receptionist lied to us, which is not very nice if you ask me. Moreover, there was no shower gel in the bathroom (and from my experience, hotels usually give you little bottles of shower gel among others)

I highly recommend staying at this hotel. They pay great attention to cleanliness, and the food is typically touristy but good. And then, something very important to me, the staff is really kind

The hotel itself is clean and tidy, but the food variety is poor. There’s very little fruit available, and there are no snacks or fruit offered between 2 pm and 7 pm, even though we had an all-inclusive package

This hotel I found very convenient, center point and excellent guest service, you don’t leave this place without a smile!

The central location means 24/7 noise from the club next door. during the day until the evening, and especially at full volume all night. Sleep is only possible with earplugs

Great location with access to the beach, restaurants and shops.

In the evenings, there are the restaurants right on the water's edge. There you can get delicious food and expensive drinks, and we were more or less politely asked to come in at almost every stall

What more could you want? You don't even notice that there are no outlets or towel racks in the bathroom, the hot water often doesn't work, and the drain is clogged with sand

We spend a week end of July 2020 and we have to admit that we made the right choice. Great location right , next to the city center, very close to the beach, bus station, Bars , Clubs

This hotel is wonderful Hotel is in the center of the city, but at the same time you can enjoy in silent nights. Breakfast is great, every day something new is on the table

They gave us water at check-in and during our stay, they surprised us with fresh fruit and wine. At the end, the owner, Antonios, even gave us a small bottle of olive oil from his own production

Instead, we got air conditioning, which wasn't originally included. It's fine for those on a budget, but you shouldn't expect too much from the bedding. It's clear the mattresses aren't new

Hotel needs a bit of investment and refurbishment or some freshen up as rooms are old but everything was in working order so could not really complain

Our flight was very late,and after check out they kindly suggested us to stay by the pool area,offered us some towels and after ordering some drinks in their little bar,we got them on a house

The location on the sea front is superb and everything is in walking distance to the hotel. We walked up to Koutouloufari one night too and that only took us half an hour

After a bad experience at petra village we came here the lady was amazing i asked for 1st floor/ ground floor due to partner being pregnant and thats just what she done she helped us carry our cases up to the room and gave us the ac and a clean kettle amazing i honestly thought it was a 3 star

This hotel is in a great location, it's very clean, and everyone is incredibly friendly! I loved hanging out on the balcony. It's so hot in Crete in August but the AC worked liked a charm

I spent 28 days at Stella Paradise "by Checkin" and I loved every bit of it. Location is perfect - you are in the center of Hersonisos but it does not get loud at all. You have a kitchen and you can cook some basic staff

There are loads of ATMs but expect an exhausted sigh if you try and use your card in shops. We were a bit disappointed with the view from our balcony

We arrived at Stella Palace after having to stay in Crete for two weeks. The place is charming and perfectly located—right next to the beach and promenade

Very good! Very clean and spacious room with kitchenette. Bring your own coffee, sugar, napkins, etc. No coffee maker just a kettle. Area was very quiet, parking on the street with lots of lights

The best location in hersonissos. In the center. Clean and has air condition. The staff are great- especially Dimitri ! The hotel doesn't have a pool... i didnt mind it because the beach is so close. And its affordable.

(three of us) The lift is small but works so even people with mobility problems wouldn't find it an issue. Next time we go back to Hersonissos we will definitely book in Villa Sonia again

Stayed at Villa Sonia for middle two weeks in June. Lovely accommodation everything you could want with Lovely sunrise views,right by the sea. Cleaning and towel change every other day

We were placed on the second floor and absolutely loved the view from the balcony. We spent most of our room time there just watching the world go by enjoying a nice cold Greek beer

As 2* hotel Zorbas was perfect for trip aruond Crete. We stayed for sleeping and breakfast. Our room was cleaned everyday, fresh towels also. Breakfast and service was very good

Last minute order for me and 2 kids. The room had 3 levels, which sounds weird but actually gives plenty of space, with a kitchen, kids floor and "master bedroom" on top

Standard facilities, but very clean and well maintained. The hotel dining room and pool are on the main street, 1 min walk which was fun to get out

Food was really good, plenty of choice everyday and all the staff were brilliant especially the chef who walked my wife round as she is Gluten Intolerant and explained what was safe for her, always had 6/7 dishes to choose from plus the salads

Wonderful stay at Kassavetis Center! We had a great experience during our stay at Kassavetis Center. The location is perfect — close to everything you need, from the beach to shops and restaurants

The manager was very understanding of our situation and we came to a mutual arrangement which lifted a lot of stress from us. It's very central to everything the bar and pools are very good

Manos, the man in the front desk who welcomed us, was very polite, he explained carefully every detail, what was included etc. The hotel has different buildings, but we had our room in the main building

You can choose to eat your meal inside, in the restaurant or close by the pool. They also serve drinks (with payment) during dinner time and after. Big thanks to the special barman Ben and Alkeo

We were very pleased by the hotel, the service and the staff but they should work a little bit more on the room cleaning. It is said that they change the bathroom towels everyday and the linens every 3 days

Great property have stayed there 3 times now and found it to be a good base near to every thing sea restaurants shops bars transport can’t fault it staff are lovely very friendly and helpful

The area close to the pool is very nice and comfortable. A bar is located close to the pool, they have a menu for snack and drinks, the prices are very economic and the quality is very good

really nice hotel, very nice staff, only downside is the wifi is so bad i had to use mobile data the whole trip (also in the rooms). other downside is that we had to wait 2 hours for our room to be ready

My review is based on room 901. old and tired missing plug to Bath. Bath soap holder not screwed into wall. Door handle loose on cupboard. The room was a double with a kitchenette with a fridge

Location to the gym was ten seconds from our room, pool and bar 1 mintues away. All communal areas are well maintained and clean. Dining area clean and plenty of of seating inside and outside

Beautiful views!! All super friendly, personable, kind and fun! We’ll never forget the amazing staff! We were a group of 3 girls early to mid twenties, it was mostly couples and families which was fine with us

We had the most wonderful and relaxing week here. The family who own the apartments were so friendly and welcoming. The apartment was spotless and overlooked stunning views of the sea and mountains

We discovered the traditional villages of Piskopiano and Koutouloufari which were similar in distance and had amazing Greek restaurants. Good bus links which we used to visit Knossos Palace and Malia

Only downside is wish the shop was closer (as I was on crutches, but my friends went for me), not due to the hotel or course :) Additional bits: Taxi into town - 10 euros, takes 6 minutes or so

The food served at the restaurant was delicious and very good value for money. We got a taxi from Heraklion airport which was around a 25 minute drive and got the bus back to the airport

We loved our sundowners at the top pool bar 🍸- Mythos and lime and a Prosecco with a strawberry 🍓 - cheers! We used the tennis court a few times and it's perfectly adequate once you get used to the cracks along the service and base lines - we had good fun on the court 😁 and it was one of the reasons why we booked Bellos

We met some lovely people 😀 in and around the bar and within the first few days it was if two bar stools had our names on them! It was like the Cheers Bar as mentioned in a previous review!! Greek night is worth booking - it's on Saturday and starts at 8pm

I've saved the best till last as this place was always our last stop off - the fabulous little bar 🍸 at Bellos! It didn't matter where we were during the day or evening, we made our way back to Bellos bar as the service and hospitality were outstanding

We did two tours, one to Knossos and Heraklion and the other to Spinalonga and Agios Nikolaos - both excellent and we were picked up from outside Bellos - we booked through GetYourGuide and our guides on both tours were excellent

Great location for us as we like walking and you have best of both worlds at Bellos - turn left to go down to the big port resort of Heronissos or turn right to go up to the three villages

Can't thank the bar staff enough for the great service and entertainment they provided throughout our stay. It's a special little place and hopefully we'll be back one day

You also get a free drink voucher there for being guests of the hotel. The location is also amazing, it’s very central to everything in Hersonissos

I don't think this hotel deserves a 4-star rating. But the location is simply gorgeous – right in the center of everything :). The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially at reception

Great location, near to the beach, center and bus stop. The room was good but there was no daylight during the day (economic room). It has been cleaned every day

We personally preferred to walk up the coast a bit more to use the beach as the beach directly outside the hotel was quite stoney, but that was just personal preference and there was lovely sandy areas just 5 minutes either side
