The Hotel location is very close to the city center, breakfast is tasty and fresh,rooms are clean and modern, bed is very comfortable. There is an arrangement for a daily parking 1 minute walking from the hotel for 12€ daily..sure we will come again.

Wonderful modern hotel with responsive 24/7 staff. Rooms are perfectly clean, well-designed, roomy for 2 people, great water pressure in the bathroom, and quite a luxurious feel for the price. We stayed in the top floor so we had direct access to the roof deck. Easily walkable from center City and the main attractions in Heraklion. 18€ taxi from the airport. Breakfast is included and quite decent....

Lovely hotel at a fine location nearby the town centre. There are restaurants, grocery stores and shopping districts in walking distance. I arrived to the city via the bus from Chania and left the city via ferry via the harbour. although not exactly short distance but they are walkable. it is a relatively busy city and many popular restaurants are very occupied during the weekend.

Very nice place and very modern not to mention the great breakfast. My wife and stayed there for 2 nights and we needed a place close to everything and this was. I want to thank Helena for all her help and answering our daily 100 questions about where to go and what to do.

Very, very nice, right in the city center, about a 20-minute walk from the pier. There are plenty of restaurants in the city center. The front desk was very nice and answered all my questions. They helped print boarding passes, gave directions, and stored our luggage. Seeing that we were tired, they even checked us in early. The breakfast was also very rich. Perfekt place to stay in the city. Bus to airport is just over the Street. By foot can walk to the most Highlight arout 10-15min.

Loved my stay! It has the sea view and very central located. They have a front desk 24 hours so it’s easy even for late check in. Breakfast was simple but more than enough. Nothing to complain about !

We was last year 2024, all was ok special the food , the rooms was clean, but the furniture was outdated and the bathroom with the open shower wasn't very good. We only had breakfast, which is very ok. They have their own tavern, they do everything for very good food . It was very good for us.

The location is central and the friendliness of the information office is top notch. The facilities were clean and there was a separate veranda where you could wash and dry your laundry, as well as a table and two chairs. The downside is that the bathroom is so small that it's difficult to turn around, and there is the inconvenience of not being able to fit your left foot into the toilet seat.

We selected this hotel because of the proximity to the harbour. It takes less than 10 minutes to reach the Seajets ferry to Santorini. Hotel is clean, rooms are well fitted. The street is quite noisy and you need to have the AC running all night. The price is very reasonable. Personnel is very friendly.

A fantastic hotel, just 200 meters from the Cretan Archaeological Museum. There's a bus stop right next to the hotel to Knossos Palace; a round trip costs €5. The room I booked was great, the bathroom was clean, and it had a balcony, but it was a bit noisy at night because it's near the road. The balcony was far too narrow, and there was only one folding chair that fit across the room, so it was impossible to chill on the balcony in the evening for two. The shower was very small and the water spilled out. Otherwise, everything was great. The staff was really friendly. Everything was close: a supermarket, a restaurant, and a café, and it was only about 3 minutes to the beach.

You can't beat Olympic for the location, nor for the price. The bed was comfy, the breakfast was fine. Olympic has a pleasant terrace on the top floor, where you can sit and read and watch the planes take off from the nearby HER airport. My only complaint was that the smallness of the bathroom meant no towel racks, only a couple of hooks behind the door.

Below average The nice lobby is deceiving. The rooms are very old and mine was very dark (the only windows faced a skylight well). Decently clean but I found a hair in the jam at breakfast (I guess that it can happen but it is the first time that it happens to me, in the more than 30 years in which I have been travelling). It will not be my choice at my next visit at Crete University.

The hotel entrance is not easy to find, but the island itself is not big, and it is very convenient to go anywhere in the city. You can find the entrance by asking. It is very cost-effective and the transportation is also very convenient.

I didn’t expect much from this vacation since I hadn’t been to the sea for a long time. It was supposed to be a proper rest after a tough year. Huge resort with hotel rooms, bungalows and multiple canteens is in my opinion ideal for families with babies and small children. Yes, the rooms are a bit dated, beds are not very comfy, but hey, you won't be inside for most of the time. We had 9 fantastic days in te Dessole Dolphin Bay Resort. I think the price was worth it. The staff is very friendly, keeps the place clean, and tends to guests' requests. However, it was not a pleasant experience for me because the WIFI did not work most of the time. So, for a business traveler who needs to remain connected or join online meetings, this is not the place. For pleasure travels, Kronos would be an excellent choice given the location and the service.

The website says they have parking. BUT this is limited and we were told we’d have to drive to this offsite parking lot and walk back (about 10 minutes). Not a good option for walking to get your car in the dark at 6 am in unknown area, driving back to the hotel to then load up your luggage.

This was a great location to visit Old Town Heraklion. Near the Venetian Fortress and the pedestrian avenues. Provides bottled and filtered water, endless. Provides free parking. Very clean. Elevator. Great deal.

Breakfast was included, and the breakfast area had a beautiful view over the harbor. We only stayed for one night, but we could have easily stayed longer. Once settled in it was a great experience.

Everyone we talked to was nice. The breakfast was a good addition (they served these "Cretan sweet treats" that I loved). I liked that we had 3 separate beds in one room and the balcony had a nice view. The bathroom was a decent size but the shower could have been cleaned a little more and the toilet ran often. It's a good spot to stop if you're looking for shopping and quick access to the harbor. Parking is difficult. The staff was nice and helpful in answering all of our questions. The rooms are a little run down and very noisy with the planes flying out of the airport, so bring your earplugs! Overall, it's not bad for a quick stop, but I wouldn't recommend it for an extended stay.

The Marin Hotel was a wonderful place to stay for our stop in Heraklion A great location near the ferry port and airport. A short walk to markets, restaurants and attractions.

Ideal location, close to the harbour, the old city, the bus to Knossos and the bus terminal. Very helpful receptionists. The view during breakfast is fabulous. Lots of choice from the buffet. The rooms aren't too big but after all you don't come here to sit all day in a room. Very reasonable price.

The room is located at the city center. It is very hard to park in this area, it is best to avoid it if you come by car. However, if coming by public transportation it is very convenient. It was clean and nice and the receptionist was very friendly. The only issues we found were the mattress being too soft and the lack of support to hang the shower while bathing.

The room was large and had a small courtyard. Walking around the corner, you'll find the pedestrian street, making it easy to walk to the museum or to the old pier to watch the sunset. Parking is difficult as it's in a small alley on the pedestrian street, so if you're driving, make sure to reserve a parking space with the hotel in advance.

We spent three lovely nights at the City Lion Apartments in Heraklion. Our loft apartment was spacious and so well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed for a quick meal break. The staff were incredibly helpful. They made dinner reservations for us, made sure we knew where we were going, and helped us turn of the heating in the apartment (Greeks like the temperature warmer than Wisconsinites...

Excellent location in the center of the city and at the same time in a quiet neighborhood. Cozy and modern rooms. Easy check in/out. Very friendly and helpful staff. Whenever we have visitors, we always recommend it, and they are never disappointed.

Nice little hotel at a good location, both close to the airport and the city center. The staff were very pleasant, with a special mention to Katerine, Who answered all our questions and even called places when we needed. The only problems was that the bathroom was a little small and the breakfast was nothing to write home about. Also you stop hearing the plane sounds after the first couple hours.

The room was well designed for a comfortable stay, modern design and comfortable bed. The bathroom needed a deep clean though. The breakfast was good cuantity but not of our taste: no fruits, no vegetables, no protein. It was however really nice to have breakfast at the rooftop terrace in the morning. If you are easily bothered by noise, be aware that the location is very close to the airport!

Quite an amazing place. I have never seen such level of modernity in the building and room set up, even though I travelled a lot in Asia which is typically quite advanced. Decent hotel, plus is service team and furnished rooms, downside very thin walls. Heard the doors slamming 5-6 times and thought it was our door! Also ramp to the garage is very tricky steep and dangerous. If somebody is not using this garage, you will need luck to find an open parking slot as the alleys are small and tight

This is very nice cozy hotel! We stayed with our 9 months old baby and they provided baby cot as we asked. However they went beyond and provided changing mat and baby spoon. It really means a lot that they thought about our baby to have comfy stay as well! The room was nice, stylish, with comfortable bed. And they have greeat roof top area where you can enjoy sunset and where we had our breakfast....

Just back from a week at Atlantica Akti Zeus, in a group made up 2 families (4 adults & 5 children aged 9-17). We were blessed with warm weather for the penultimate week of the season, and pleased with a resort that offered sufficient opportunity to keep our group engaged and entertained throughout. Great hotel! We were a big family gang with 6 toddlers. The water park has slides for adults, slides for kids and baby area. The free cocktails' selection was nice. Food was excellent and the team very friendly and efficient. It is also just 15 min drive from the airport. The only downside is the neerby power plant - our room faced it and it was noisy and ugly. Yet, it was a perfect vacation.

Our stay at the Atlantica Akti Zeus was absolutely fantastic! The food was a real highlight – incredibly delicious and so diverse. We especially loved the abundance of fresh seafood and fish, and the desserts were divine, particularly the cheesecakes! Teams were excellent, services were excellent, but the mattress in the sofa bed was appalling. Otherwise, it's perfect for a couple or a family, it's near the beach, near lots of restaurants and bars.

When we checked in we were graciously upgraded to a suite in another building with access to another resort and pool. All the staff were very friendly in all areas which made our stay very enjoyable. Breakfast was included which was great. Close to the beach, handy supermarket and bus stop to Heraklion centre and airport.

Amazing hotel, staff at the hot is wonderful, everyone is so nice, helpful, supportive, friendly and funny. We had the best time and feel sad to leave! Our room was cleaned regularly and towels were changed all the time. Shower and water is great. BREAKFASTS are so good, we loved everything. The best thing is the swimming pool area and magical garden. Its 100 out of 10!!!

Wow, what a fantastic hotel, truly one of the best hotels we have stayed at, the reception team were absolutely fantastic and so were the bar staff and cleaners.
