A Truly Amazing Stay – Like Paradise! We’ve just returned from an incredible stay at this hotel as a family of four from Scotland, and we’re already missing it! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm, friendly smiles from the staff, who couldn’t have been more helpful or welcoming

Their kindness made a wonderful first impression and set the tone for the rest of our stay. The hotel itself is spotless and beautifully maintained, with stunning views that made it feel like a slice of paradise

if i could live in this hotel I would. the beach is stunning, staff is kind and helpful, and the rooms are spacious and clean

Our kids absolutely loved the pool – we could hardly get them out of it! The buffet food was always fresh and delicious

If you carried on walking straight on instead of turning right there were more shops and then after about a 20 minute walk from the hotel bungalows was the lake, restaurants and where you could get a boat to Spinalonga, the Happy Train and the semi submarine, The rooms at the Ariadne are large, lots of storage and a big balcony with side sea views

The town was about a 10 minute walk through a residential area before the start of some shops or a walk towards the sea, tavernas, shops and the marina

We were here on the 16th October near the end of the season. As others have mentioned its built over a valley

Not far to walk to the two pools although steep in parts but manageable and buggy’s were around the resort. The swimming pools aren’t heated like most aren’t abroad but were amazing to have a good swim in and never busy

The ladies on reception couldn’t do enough to help especially Maria. Always helpful and with a smile. The spa and staff were excellent. I had two massages and facials which were amazing the products organic and Cretian

Oversaw the area brilliantly everyone felt special and looked after he is a legend. George is also amazing and excellent at his job and in quieter moments it was so interesting to talk to them both

The shower could only fit one person and it did not have a door or a curtain, so we always had water on the floor. The whole hotel is dated, but the pictures make it look very modern and vibrant

The pool area is ok but definitely has the feel of it having once been a car park or something. Breakfast is just ok, food selection is broad but the quality is really quite poor

Infinity Blue Hotel and spa is more like a three star hotel, than a four star one. Before booking this trip for three adults, I made sure to check the photos and reviews

I also think it’s super pricey given the location, lack of parking, poor reception experience (incorrect bills allocated to the room etc

Overall this is heavily a 3-star hotel by Irish standards trying to pitch a 5-star product that just falls short in too many places

I booked as it looked very promising and beautiful. We stayed on the 1st floor and the room that we were given was very dated

Amazing food (actually too good). Only downer is a 100 euro "climate crisis tax" slapped on your bill at the end. If you're going to obligatorily add 100 euros to a bill. You should say this at the time of booking

Very cozy, clean, beautiful private beach, calm warm sea, where it is interesting to snorkel, there is an opportunity to go diving. Kitchen, room service - everything is excellent!

Good location right on the beach, pool ok but very cold water, the sea was warmer I think… Busstop just a step away on the mainstreet that takes you straight to Heraklion or if u like to Agios Nikolaus

We’ve come here fore years and every year we come back to the beach at themis hotel. Kiki and sofia are always very friendly and welcoming. They offer the best service you can get. We are very happy to come back again

Kiki and Sofia were amazing people and made our holiday truly memorable, so polite and caring, there politeness and customer service were second to none

For 2 sunbeds and an umbrella and table it was just 7 euros, amazing value, but what really made it for us were the two ladies looking after the cafe

Really lovely relaxing stay! Great drinks, food, beach, friendly staff, sauna, quality entertainment, beautiful bay, great walks to either side of the hotel! Stayed at the end of September and had 5 days of really nice weather, 2 days of wind

There are so many fish in the bay - snorkel definitely required! If you like Greek food you’ll love it here - do loads of delicious authentic dishes! Rooms are a little dated, but have everything you need for a comfortable stay

Natalia was one of our waitresses who was very very good. As a whole the staff at Grecotel Meli Palace are brilliant. Very professional and helpful

Great place, food was very good all was very tasty and well made , small hotel almost like a village, make you feel like you are in a private area, small and nice sandy beach only for the hotel, rooms were very simple but to be honest you dont need more than that

You can order food and drinks to your sunbed which is a nice idea, but again, it’s the same small menu. Even things like smoothies don’t exist, so if you’re not drinking alcohol there isn’t much choice

The food and drinks were probably the biggest let-down and stop it being a true 5-star. Breakfast – very limited hot food, and most of it just warm unless you have an omelette cooked fresh

Service could be hit and miss — a few times we had to chase coffee, and one morning they completely forgot us while we waited for a table. We ended up skipping breakfast a few days because it didn’t feel worth the effort

The welcome was really well organised and very friendly. They give you a little tour when you arrive and take you to your room, which is a nice touch and helps you settle in

We walked the opposite way one day, which turns into a seafront path after about 20–25 minutes and has a few quiet restaurants and hotels. The lane outside the hotel gets quite dark at night, so take a phone torch

It’s good if you want to properly switch off — it kind of forces you to relax because there isn’t loads going on. A taxi to Platanias was €12, which was worth it for a change of scenery

Excellent location and service. Only downside is that the showering area in the toilet is too small such that i left the door open to bathe. Window lock is broken too. Besides these, i had a good stay.

Our stay at the Gallini Sea View Hotel in Crete was average. The location with the beautiful sea view was definitely a plus, and the staff was friendly. The rooms and food were OK, but nothing special

The restaurant is chaotic, with a lack of seating, dirty tables, and repetitive food that is often cold by the time you get to the table

It's the second time that I visit this hotel and I love it. The hotel is near to center of Hania and it has private beach with sunbeds. The view was fantastic and the food delicious. The rooms was big and very clean

Gaini is the best place to relax .Our room is very clean .The Waterpark is very beautifull and our kids sped a lot of time there .The food was delicious and it has a little of facilities for us.

Second problem the room the family 2 girls and a boy (family 2 of them were adults) was allocated was a double bed and a bed settee we had asked for a family double room, 1am in the morning we told them to use the room and was assured the room would be changed in the morning - to give credit to the reception staff in the morning the room was changed, the night porter had said they family would be moved...

When at the pool table no quick access to toilets you either have to go to the adults bar - down as set of stairs, reception or to the childrens pool, toilets at the childrens pool had no locks on the doors, all toilets were often lacking hand towels but the check sheet for staff was ticked as checked, the ones at the staff pool I didn't find until day 4

2 nights there was evening entertainment but this happened at the pool bar (next to childrens pool) but the bar was closed! Only one bar open in the evening and one person serving the queue sometimes was quite long, had to wait a while the selection of drinks was poor, 4 cocktails, didn't have a drink I liked

There was a queue for checkin so the receptionist / porter told us to use the restaurant and come back when we had eaten, which was good, tea/coffee machines were working as well as wine/beer and soft drinks, limited food available, rolls, salad, ham and cheese

No kettle in the room, the porter told me tea and coffee was available 24/7, I don't know where as the tea / coffee machines in the restaurant were closed after breakfast if tea / coffee was required you had to go to one of the bars

No water given there is a fridge in the rooms, all inclusive water should be available. The reception team did give me a kettle and later cups to be able to have a cup of tea either in the morning or before bed

We stayed in a pool view maisonette which had everything you could want for a self catering stay. I know some rooms had amazing sea views too. The pool is very small (but well maintained)

Great stay here at the hotel. The Spa team around Mikaela is awesome. If you catch a rainy day (or not) it‘s an absolute recommendation to get the full Cretan body massage - Aspasia and Ifigenia are awesome! 5/5 stars!

Spa experience with Aspasia was absolutely exceptional. From the moment the treatment began, she created such a calm and soothing atmosphere that I was able to completely switch off and relax

I took a "Sweet Love" package for my treatment option. Ifigenia, who executed the treatment, was very professional, friendly and clearly experienced at her job. Would heartily recommend the spa!

Aspasia clearly has a real talent for what she does. Her professionalism, care, and attention to detail made this one of the best treatments I’ve had

I think it is much better suited to adults (than children) as there is not so much much room for swimming but it’s perfect for cooling off. The staff are all very kind and the barman is quite funny

The best thing for us was the split level family room - twin beds and a shower room downstairs (plus balcony), with a king size and bathroom upstairs, both with a sea view

Also we were allocated 2 very quite rooms with side sea view. Provided travel cot and all bedding for infant. Plus tea and coffee in a daily basis to use in our rooms

We spent a week in the Aegean Pearl, right at the end of the season in October, and had a fantastic week

As regards food, we tended to have dinner out (it’s only a 5 minute taxi ride to the old town and there’s a rank about 20m from the hotel) but the pool bar was good for lunches and the buffet breakfasts in the restaurant were excellent

The sunbeds on the beach are free, however we found that more sunbeds had been added since last year and now too close together. We decided to walk 2 minutes down the beach and pay 7 Euros for more space and comfort

There’s also a water sports kiosk only 20m away, for parasailing, jet skis etc. The hotel has a nice pool (although a bit fresh!) and the week we were there, there was never any trouble in getting loungers

It was an amazing stay! 3 days of relaxation in a small quite hotel! The daily buffet was really tasty but the highlight of this hotel is the nice behaviour of the staff!

Beautiful resort in a beautiful location, however, few things are missing to give it a full score. The hotel offers great views at the mountains on one side and the open sea on the other

The rooms are clean, bright and well equipped we had a room with a jacuzzi we stayed in room 1212 had a pool and sea view from the balcony but nice and quiet

The hotel is absolutely spotless the attention to detail is second to none, the pool is clean and very relaxing, cocktails are amazing especially made by Maria during the day or Carlos at night, breakfast there is a huge selection catering for every fussy eater, my only criticism is the evening selection is more catered for the Germans so we ended up eating out 4 of our 7 night stay unless you wanted...

Amazing staff really welcoming and friendly very upbeat and happy, good choice of food to pick from all inclusive drinks with wide range! Clean hotel overall atmosphere amazing very helpful with what things to do if stuck! Food served pretty much all day and of course drinks

In the afternoon we recommend an ouzo in the hotel's own beach coffee in combination with a light snack. All staff are friendly and very helpfull. Thanks for an unforgettable week!

Sunbeds were the most comfortable ones I have encountered and lying on the ones by the sea was absolute bliss

My husband and I had a good time at the Pepper Sea Club. The service from all the staff was Outstanding. They were Friendly, attentive and Accommodating. The room was spotless and had all the amenities that was needed

The village is a brisk 10min walk along the seashore , passing lots of taverners, but well worth the walk. Hire of a car is essential too. We used Anna Cars from Heraklion - no hidden EXTRAS and fab people

Also a free A La Carte dinner at Tomatini the on-site restaurant. Also a voucher is handed to you for a free lunch - this is any salad and two main courses for two people - anything you want

Whilst here we were the ONLY English - which made for quiet socialising in the eve as everyone was German. Quiet a few kids , but they were generally well behaved

There are several pools in the hotel and also private pools in some of the rooms, so there is always an oasis nearby if one wants to cool down

This is one of the best places to locally - if not the best. A great welcome with local iced tea, homemade biscuits and a cool flannel

If you get the old rooms, you hear everything your neighbours are doing. And they should renovate the bathroom. But it was always cleaned very thoroughly. Besides that everything was top notch

Hotel is immaculate, beautiful pool, easy access to the beach, food in the Waves beach bar was amazing and huge portion sizes, short €2 bus journey to Chania port. Highly recommend this hotel

The gym was very small and no air con so advise getting there before the day gets too hot! Layout - the photos always give the impression it’s quite compact but if you aren’t near the centre then it’s a long walk up a big hill! Luckily there was a van / golf cart to help out

There were other activities too such as Pilates - possibly the best view I’ve ever had doing Pilates! There could have been a bit more for teens, and it was a shame the games room wasn’t in the centre of the hotel but a bit further out, but that was only a tiny thing

Entertainment - there was a very enthusiastic guy leading the entertainment both during the day and in the evening, I honestly don’t know how he kept going! Around the pool there were games daily, aqua fit and water polo

When we arrived we let them know and they showed my son all the things he could have. They were also happy to prepare gluten free bread, pizza and pasta too, and it really seemed no bother

My daughter missed out on going to the water slides as she hadn’t heard them say what was happening! Water park - fine for kids and teens enjoyed it for a little while but not thrilling

The lifeguards were excellent though, really friendly, helpful and good when my son ripped open a scab on a slide! Food - this was a big one for us

The hotel they sent us to was run-down and dirty – black mould on the walls, cracked tiles, and generally in a poor state. We were so upset and couldn’t believe this is where we were expected to stay for half our holiday

The woman on reception was rude, dismissive, and showed no care for our situation at all. She didn’t offer any solutions or alternatives within the hotel and just said we’d have to go to another hotel they had arranged

As compensation, the manager kindly upgraded our all-inclusive package to their best tier, which was a really thoughtful gesture and made a huge difference to the rest of our stay

Our son has a food allergy and there was never any problem. On the contrary, everyone tried to make him happy. Everyone in the hotel is always smiling and nice. The hotel itself is beautiful! And we already miss Aqua.

The resort is designed for families. There are lots of fun things for kids to do, like the children's pool and playgrounds. Our kids had a fantastic time, and we loved seeing them so happy
