My family and I have stayed at Nefeli twice, both times during the off-season. I highly recommend this hotel for its friendly, welcoming, and helpful staff

The pool is small, but it is really okay. The problem is that some guests put towels so early and they are not even there to swim! The pool is for everyone who wants to swim, but many can't swim, for example, children

Personnel are very friendly, our room is clean. It has space in between, like two single beds together, and it's moving all the time. My child's bed is just a folding bed. I expected to be at least bed sofa-bed

Some complaints about it, and management didn't do anything about it. Maybe they can at least put some rules that no reservations in the pool, no leaving of towels when the person is not there

My third stay at this lovely hotel. I had a room over the side street which was perfectly quiet. Room was cleaned daily whilst I was there and was immaculate. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice

Our door lock started being faulty after two days and the maintenance man sorted it within 30 minutes so again efficient service. Buffet breakfasts suited our taste and selections frequently refilled

The options for dining out is superb but my advice is avoid the busy packed out ones nearby the hotel and seek a much better dining experience like Casa Del Mare on the beach front and Arondiko where the cuisine is of a much better quality

Water kept spilling over from shower cubicle but nothing to worry about. Great selection at breakfast. All in all a very enjoyable stay

I opted for eggs and bacon most mornings but there was also plenty of fruit, cold cuts, cheeses, cereals and even sweets. The staff on reception were always present to help with any difficulties I may have had

Rom has kettle, microwave, hob and fridge with freezer compartment. Pool clean, sunbeds sometimes difficult to get. The grassed area by the breakfast could be utilised for this. Lifts are available to all floors

We spent six nights at this hotel and it was the most marvelous holiday! The location is priceless. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and we had the best view of the sea from our balcony

Very good hotel, I will recommend it to my friends and family. Sea is near, 2 swimming pool, good quality and huge amount of food, sunshine, sun beds... Excellent. I hope to return.

well we just got back from a week here and what do I have to say about Maritimo Beach Hotel wow we love sissi the people are so nice and the hotel is great very nice rooms we had a downstairs garden view room up by the smaller pool room 608 spotless every day and the rest of tge hotel too never saw anything dirty the staff omg so nice there is a lady that works there I saw her in the restaurant on...

There were two pools, one quieter than the other which meant you could have some quiet time by the poolside but also be amongst the pool bar, families and people socialising if you wanted

Great hotel. Rooms are fantastic and very nice pool. Very quite, for a relaxed time. There are very nice restaurants in the area and is nice for a walk

The food at breakfast was varied and nice quality, food at the pool bar was traditional greek food and consistently was prepared fresh and served to a high standard

After two wonderful stays in 2025, we've already booked for 2026. We can't wait to return to this resort. For us, it's one of the most beautiful in the Mediterranean (…and we've stayed at many others)

Food was very diversified - everybody could find something delicious to eat. Beautiful place with well-kept gardens and swimming pools. I'd a lovely, bright and big apartment with impressing view

The only small suggestion would be to provide a bean coffee maker instead of instant coffee. Otherwise, everything was perfect and we would be happy to come back

Stayed here twice bit pricey but well worth it, has a fantastic swimming pool and has easy access to the beach, also has sunbeds to hire

Very nice hotel, located between sea and main road of beautiful village of Stalida. One can walk along the road visiting cute shops and restaurants. We loved the location and the village very much

We went to this hotel because of the view and the sauna - and we got so positively suprised! The sea view is spectacular, just outside the window. 🌊💫the breakfast amazing with options à la varte

Good location if you’re looking for somewhere slightly out of town, a little quieter. Only a 20ish minute walk into old town

This is my second time at the villa. My family love the food, staff, and the area.Just all around top notch service anf facilities.

Also the pool at the villa wasn’t ready (on and cleaned) on the Saturday we arrived, wasn’t sorted until we said something on the Monday

We chose not to hire a car but it was only €8 to Kolymvari where there was a nice assortment of bars and restaurants on the seafront. We ate at the hotel and also the 2 other local restaurants in Spilia too

That being said, it still gets an easy 5 stars as a holiday and although we like to explore, at least we know if we return to Spilia village again we can feel sure we’re in for a relaxing holiday with great staff who truly are a credit to the hotel

We have tried a few other restaurants, a few were disappointing but this one was spot on every single time. The staff are incredibly serviceminded, delightful and helpful! The drinks- skip the other places

I stayed at the Alia beach hotel for 10 nights. The hotel was clean and quiet. The staff were absolutely wonderful. The pool was great (needed some maintenance but I assume this is sorted over winter)

This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. staff are so friendly and helpfull. this hotel has changed hands so all previous reviews are not applicable. hotel and grounds are really nice

When we first arrived, the service was phenomenal. We were early, and were provided luggage storage until the room was cleaned. We were also provided som breakfast

The hotel provide sunbeds for an extra fee, which we maybe were not expecting but it was totally fair and worth it. The breakfast buffet is simple but filling

Special shout outs to Genti the barman, who was really funny; friendly and helpful, Elli and Yannis at reception, and the waiting staff at breakfast and dinner all lovely, friendly and helpful as I was travelling solo

Pool area is very quiet and doesnt really get much sun in the day time until later, I only spent my first day around the pool and was alone most of the time, the rest of the time I went to the beach or excursions

I went across to the reception, and someone came over to fix it right away! They had also saved me some light salad/ cheeses/ meats as it was past the dinner time, which I thought was really nice

They are all there to answer any questions you may have. The bar prices are really reasonable, €3. 06) for a glass of local wine! The breakfast and dinner were also good, plenty of variety

When I first arrived, it was quite late and had an issue with the air-conditioning not working

But I am not a fussy eater, so there was always something I could eat

The only thing that we could complain about was the pool area - the pool itself is stunning and overlooks the golf course BUT there are too few loungers and too few towels!!! So we arrived on one occasion to nowhere to sit and nothing to dry ourselves with - not ideal, one family with little children were all sat on one lounger! The pool area is not manned in any way so once the towels are gone they...

There were only a few people and we extended until 2 p.m. because of golf at 10:20 a.m. and we were charged a day use at €30, not very commercial, plus no rate on the Green Fée as a hotel guest... golf hotel not great

The room is very luxurious and spacious. The food was delicious and overall a great place to stay after a round of golf! I would reccommend staying here when playing golf or just if you look for some time to relax!

Staff went above and beyond our expectations! Lovely, friendly and helpful people. Once again, thank you guys! Hope we can come back in September. Hotel is quiet, classy and very comfortable. Highly recommended it.

The hotel was absolutely superb, we were there for a 3 night stay at the end of a weeks villa holiday and it was perfect. Rooms were massive, food was excellent, staff were so friendly and helpful

The hotel exceeded all our expectations. The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and beautifully designed. The view during breakfast was breathtaking, like something out of a painting

We had a fantastic time at Kydon Hotel! It’s definitely one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at so far. The location is beautiful, the staff is amazing, and everything was exceptionally clean and well-maintained

View from upper floor of the old city is stunning. Located just 5min walk from the old port which offers many restaurants and tourists shops. Very nice breakfast with many options. Valet parking is a big plus.

She is amazing at everything she does. I really appreciate her welcoming attitude. I have never been more welcomed at any other location. Being an outsider I really appreciate being involved in her day to day

The food and service are the best! Especially Rena, who works the bar. She makes the best drinks, always has a beautiful smile to greet everyone with, and willing to be helpful to those of us not from Crete.

We have had a lovely 10 days at the Elounda Orama - all the staff are so helpful and welcoming - our room was lovely and spacious and the bed and pillows were excellent which is always a bonus - we had a large balcony with added sunloungers which were a real treat and a lovely view of the sea and Spinalonga in the distance - the dining area had stunning views of Elounda Bay which were a delight when...

I would not recommend the standard room as it was extremely small and felt claustrophobic, we did try to upgrade the day we got there but they were unfortunately fully booked, as a couple with two suitcases there was no room whatsoever and very limited hanging space so had to leave the suitcases open on the floor and climb over them to get around

I think the hotel would benefit from an overall refresh, painting etc and the pool to be cleaned more often, although the water was clear there was green mould build up around the sides as well as the white pool loungers

We were also only given two towels which are only changed once every three days, it would have been nice to get a hand towel so you aren't using the one towel for everything

The air con had mould growing out of it and left the room smelling awful

But it is possible and the bus tried to Heraklion for a shopping ride - excellent air conditioning, Wi Fi, 30 minutes and you're in town, bus station right in the centre near the port there and all the shops - who are interested in shopping - we liked it! Overall I was expecting from the hotel is the worst when picked

Perfect accomodation, very clean and spacious, also the furniture is very modern and new. The best is the private outdoor area with a private pool. There is a fence around this area, for a maximum of privacy

Some of the equipment could do with being upgraded but what was there was useable

This is our third time there, after twice in 2012+2013, and now again in 2025! What can I say - it was such a wise choice to return! Everything that made it a magical paradise in the past has stayed the same, and on top of that, some things were even upgraded (the new pool and renovated eating area are beautiful)

The facilities and villas are just perfect—everything you need for a perfect vacation, with all the most minor details well thought out. It's easy to tell that a lot of love and attention were put into this place

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff in particular Mike and Babis were so welcoming and looked after us in the restaurant. The villas are well equipped and the private pools a really good size

The furnishings are modern and very clean. There are loungers available for each room on the beach. The two restaurants are well run and the food is delicious and varied

We have been to this hotel eight times and once again we had a wonderful time. The hotel is a small family run hotel. Nothing is to much trouble for the staff they are warm welcoming and friendly

Me & my hubby stayed here & found the hotel to be lovely we booked bed & breakfast for 2 weeks, the hotel was extremely clean & well run

The staff were all very friendly & the cleaners worked very hard to keep everywhere very clean & tidy - we had a lovely relaxing stay

There is a very good choice of food ,swimming pool is lovely with an excellent view. We will be returning next year

There is so much to do in the area

Room was slightly slightly dated but perfectly functionable. Breakfast had lots of choice, and pool area was very nice. Access to the hotel is quite steep but still doesn’t take too long to get to the beach

However, the service level of the front desk is poor, and the professionalism is insufficient, especially the young lady on duty in the afternoon. We booked three rooms for 7 people

On the first day, each room was only given one door card, and each person was required to have a ticket. After repeated negotiations, she changed the subject and did not respond positively

We even took 2 more pieces on purpose, but it turned out to be a bit sour when we ate it, an overnight watermelon in summer; in addition, we stayed for two days, and 2 drinking water bottles were provided on the first day, but not on the second day

The hotel is in a good location, close to the commercial street, and it takes more than ten minutes to walk to the bus terminal and the port

Although the service staff helped to take the boxes downstairs, the hotel was on the second floor, and we had to move one floor by ourselves after leaving the hotel; the hotel had watermelon for breakfast on the first day, and we were very happy

Fortunately, there is a supermarket downstairs, but the logic of not providing water on the second day of check-in is too confusing. Is my room rate on the second day cheaper than the first day?

Water in the pools is filtered all the time and the guys playing the music know their businesses. Chillout after lunch and live music after dinner. Very kind and smiling you the guests

Room service good our room spotless though bed spread slightly old and but thread pulled , would go back again only downside was the road noise as the hotel is situated between 2 main roads one out back near to our room and the main road with buses and coaches frequently passing, but fabulous value for money for what we paid

My son and I stayed here for 4 nights. When we arrived we were shown our room, but there was an issue with the door. We reported it to reception and the maintenance chap came straight away

He wasn't able to fix it so we were given another room, nothing was too much trouble. The food was nice, a limited choice, but this isn't a huge hotel

Snacks were ham and cheese wraps or croissants which were fresh and lovely. The pool was really clean and well kept loads of sun beds. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a lovely holiday!

We had a fab time staying, very well located, across the road from the ocean. Conveniently close to all the amenities you'd need whilst also away from the chaos of the towns

Just back after a wonderful week , Hotel lived up to the expectations judging from previous reviews, the all inclusive was very good
